I highly recommend Glenelg Vet. We have a closer vet but we moved to Glenelg Vet due to a recommendation. I am struggling to express how exceptional the veterinary doctors and nurses are. Aside from being knowledgeable, the kindness and sensitively they showed me throughout the life of my dog makes me cry to think about. My dog had diabetes and was diagnosed many years ago. I was provided excellent advice throughout. I am particularly grateful for the kindness and compassion that they showed the day we had to say goodbye. I have not had a bad (or even average) experience with any of the Vets or Veterinary nurses, they have all been fabulous. I would give them five thousand stars if I could!

We have been with Glenelg Vets for over 15 years and have always been happy with the high level of care provided to both our beloved dogs. Angas in particular, was the vet who most attended to our Golden Retriever Molly and we found him to be excellent in terms of his professionalism, warmth and genuine care. During some very difficult times in Molly's life, we were comforted with the manner in which the 'Glenelg vets' attended to her needs. Glenelg Vet have cared for our pets since we moved here in 2003 and I can't recommend them highly enough. The care and sensitivity we and our beloved dog Lizzie received from them when she was diagnosed with cancer was simply incredible. And their patience with and enthusiasm for our little bundle of trouble Jackson (a very cheeky pup) has also been outstanding. They refer to specialists when needed and are always welcoming and friendly. We have had nothing but positive things to say about all the staff there.

We had the unfortunate task of putting our much loved 17 year old dog Bandit to sleep on the 16th of December. Maddy (our very kind vet) gave us all the time we needed to say farewell and made what is undeniably a very difficult, sad time, as easy as it possibly could be. My son was able to travel from his work to be with us, and the whole atmosphere was calm and very loving. Maddy also cares for our other senior pet, and has been absolutely amazing with all her care. Highly recommend.

We have been going to the Glenelg Vet for over 20 years since we moved into the area. They take wonderful care of our pets and were so thoughtful when we lost our dog Rosy in October 2021 they sent us flowers ❤️ they are now looking after our new forever friend Peanut who joined our family in April this year. We have been visiting this clinic for many years with our Goldens Recently our boy Brady was put too sleep due to nasal cancer Dr Will and front line staff were wonderful. Very gracious and humble and we were very much appreciative of their thoughtfulness on the day. I have been taking my animals to Glenelg Vet for around 10 years. Angus and Bec and all their staff have always been very friendly. They all love animals and treat your pet as if it were their own. My animals LOVE going to Glenelg Vet which I think it a good sign of what they think of the service also. I have recommended many friends to Glenelg Vet and they are all really happy as well.

I did 2 weeks of work placement here and was able to see Glenelg Vet behind the scenes. And I saw an incredibly hardworking team that has so much compassion and love for every animal. We took our beautiful boy Bandit to see Angus yesterday for his "final checkup". The care and empathy shown was exemplary. Every step was explained in detail, Angus lay down on the carpet next to Bandit, reassuring him before sending him off to a peaceful slumber. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much Angus for being there not only for Bandit, but us as well!

They are very reliable, very caring towards our pets! I’ve taking my cat there since we adopted him. And this year my cat had very serious problems and they were and still are very professionals, they explained to me how to care for my cat very patiently, they call to check up on him and give me the best support. Our experience with Glenelg Vet has always been fantastic. Unfortunately it came time for our dog’s final appointment with them, and the amount of compassion and care they showed toward both our boy and to our whole family was outstanding. They treat your pets as they rightfully should, as the most valuable member of a family.

Been taking my fur-baby since he was a puppy. The vets are very caring and show real concern. They did a fantastic job when unfortunately my fur-baby needed an operation, including following-up for free. My fur-baby loves going to the vet which is probably the best recommendation.

My first time at Glenelg Vet and I was more than impressed! Greeted kindly when we arrived and Dr Sophie was thorough and made my anxious boy Peter feel comfortable… he’s usually terrified at the vet but he was a true champ. Thank you Dr Sophie and team! His eye is much better!

Very good service and friendly staff. Won't be going back again though as I only used this vet once as our vet was booked out and my husband works near by so since I had to pick him up that day he made a oppointment for our dogs and all good and dogs very happy with them to.

Glenelg Vet is a great place to take your pets. All staff are caring, and I have seen different Veterinarians, all have been very professional and helpful. Not forgetting to mention the helpful and knowledgeable Veterinarian Nursing staff!
