Nice but wasn't open with tour guide on the 3rd Sunday of the month as suggested in the mitcham council guide. Springtime would be nicer time to visit with more in bloom. A small nursery available with the plants from garden available for purchase, looked like good prices but again closed on visiting.

Lovely volunteers, great cuppa and cakes, beautiful history kept in the hands of the community, just where it was bequeathed too many years ago. . Keep visiting, keep gamble cottage in the hands of the public!

Come in on a sunday to check out the gardens and cottage. The cottage has volunteers who run the place. For a small price we had a lovely afternoon tea. Another little gem in Adelaide

It was closed at the time but a stroll around the garden was interesting and a well come break from the heat. The place is worth a stop if you are nearby.
