Gallerie MX is a cosy, comfortable and respectful galerie. Anyone could be at his ease to explore the few but well chosen pieces that are exposed quite spaciously and in evidence. The visitors don't have to loose any of their time to know if the merchandise offered at the moment is convenient to their taste. They are holding works of some promising international artists as well as some local rather more modest artists that describe themselves by the presentation of their studies. Also, this galerie offer to the walkers that pass on the sidewalk a shop-window that is always inspirational. Bien espacés, rassembler de par leurs thématiques et de par leurs auteurs, les oeuvres s'offrent à nous. Ainsi, on n'y perd pas son temps et l'un peut vite déterminer si ce que la galerie à en main nous plaits ou non. Il y a souvent du renouveau!!! Leur marchandise s'écoule plutôt rapidement. Il y a habituellement des oeuvres d'artistes reconnus internationallement et inmanquablement celles qui sont réalisés par des artistes locaux. Came in to see beautiful art, needed to use the bathroom while there, saw a big sign for bathroom, went in, came out and was asked by the man who works there “are you vaccinated?”. Excuse me?! Are we sharing medical information now or what’s happening?! I asked why and then this uneducated person says “you didn’t asked me if you can use the bathroom so now if you’re not vaccinated I have to clean it”. First of all, since when do we need to ask for permission to use the bathroom when it’s bathroom for visitors, second of all, do you not know how vaccines work?! Cleaning after somebody used the bathroom if they do not have spike proteins in their system?! That was disgusting, made us angry, we just left. Ridiculous.

This is hands down my favourite art gallery in Montreal. Stimulating art pieces in the form of paintings and sculptures combine with congenial hosts to make this experience a must for Montreal. If anything more is required to convince you of the accessibility of this gallery, I can relate that it is here that I was exhilarated to purchase my first several paintings after years of buying their catalogues.

Great contemporary art gallery that offers several exhibitions during the year. They show works from local artists and international artists. The gallery is very large, it has two floors and the art pieces change often. Definitely a great place to see Dominic Besner’s art and other great artists!

Beautiful, eclectic collection from artists around the world, with a focus on Canadian artists. Will make you want more walls in your home to fill with art.

I went there with my kids to see some of my favorite artists paintings. The staff took time to welcome us and even talk with the kids about what they liked. It was a good experience!
