First time I walked in here with my friend who had been there a few times already, I was a bit worried we were chattering too loudly until Allison told us flat out that we made her day with how happy we were looking around at records. Ralph and Allison are incredibly kind and really wonderful folks who have a really diverse selection of records on display, not to mention the incredible art that's all over the gallery! Truly a unique place, and a lovingly cared for one at that.
So read a few comments, most are true. Any describing over pricing or bad customer service is just false. Prices were not only fair, but the staff and/or owner actually is invested in providing you a quality service at a fair price. They were nothing but helpful and nice. Not much of a music person myself but was shopping for friends, definitely would recommend to anyone who's into just hanging out, chatting and listening to good tunes with good peoples.
Every experience at BBAM has been culturally, socially, intellectually and spiritually uplifting. The reason is that the owners, who curate the art and music collections, and produce and host the many live events, are filled with reverence and enthusiasm for the work and lives of the artists they represent, and have a deep commitment to bettering their community. Aside from that, they are a lot of fun and welcome everyone with genuine friendliness.
The owners are amazing. The artwork superb. Their weekly events enlightening & a good time. Good coffee, friendly staff, & excellent record archive. I bought my first pair of records here + made new friends at this Cafe Gallery. A definite place to find gifts for the holidays, special occasions or personal enjoyment. Go check it! You can thank me later :)
The only record store owners to offer me a chair as to comfortably browse their inventory as soon as I walked in. And the only record store owners that I am proud to call my friends. And that and more is what makes Ralph and Alison the rarest works of art at BBAM! Gallery.
Excellent!!! I went there for the vinyl and walked away with a fat stack for $50. Great selection of used records at reasonable prices. They also have new records, art, photos, and more. The environment was cool and the staff were very friendly. Check em out!
Always a pleasure to stop into BBAM to browse the used vinyl, admire the art, listen to some talented musicians, or just to talk music with Ralph and Alison. We are lucky to have this place in St-Henri to keep fueling the creative and artistic fires.
In the entire area of St-Henri, Griffintown, and Pointe St-Charles this the premiere location for curated vinyl. While you are there, you can also find equally well curated and original art. Fantastic place to browse.
The best people, and a great venue for intimate music sessions with musicians worth discovering. Caught some Japanese experimental jazz several months back. Couldn’t find what they’re serving anywhere else¡ B-BAM!
Cool place to hang and chat, owners were very cool, picked up a book and a couple of vinyls lots of art on display and available for purchase. Go on in hangout and enjoy! Maybe run in to some cool peeps
Really cool place. It’s very unique, unlike many mainstream galleries. The art peices are stunning and varied. Alison was very welcoming and friendly. I really recommend checking this place out!
I have not been in a while due to it being a bit out of my way , but over the years I have always found nice clean LP's and to see Ralph's collection of photos from back in the day is amazing.
Great place if you are looking for local art or music. Lots of oldies ie..CDs MP3s, at a great price. The staff is super friendly and the owners Ralph and Alison could not be more charming.
I thoroughly enjoyed talking with the owners of this locally owned gallery that supports and amplifies incredible and talented local artists and musicians.
Super endroit a St-Henri, beaucoup de disques vinyle et DC usagés. Il y a aussi de magnifiques toiles. Très bonne ambiance et service impécable.
Great place, wonderful owner and even better at this new location. Have been many times, will go again! Art lovers rejoice :)
New location is awesome! Half fantastic art work and half vinyl records and music paraphernalia. Truly unique place
Cute little Gallery with a lot of stunning artwork. They have a great collection of vintage music albums as well.
The owners here are so kind and friendly. Always a pleasure to stop in and see what exhibition is going on.
Great spot to dig for records and take in some art while you're at it. Helpful and super friendly staff.
Had dinner there and listened to great live local jazz players. Art + music + food = happiness
Ce galerie est géniale, on trouve également CDs, DVDs et LPs. La madame est très gentille.
Friendly staff, who process a thorough knowledge of the gallery’s many beautiful works.
