No customer service, I have recently purchased two pairs of Frankie4 and I will never go back again, do yourself a favour and buy on line from Footgear the experience is much more pleasant. I felt like I was a massive inconvenience, I knew exactly what I was after all I needed is for the two ladies (senior sales assistants) to grab me the right size and take my money....I was ignored for a good 10 minutes with no other customers in the store, this 10 minutes were the longest 10 minutes the in my life as I had no choice but to listed to their stories about rude customers. Well, I’m sorry but maybe you got a bit of attitude from people as you couldn’t be bothered helping them. The only reason why I patiently waited was I really needed those shoes for work and footgear is the only store in Carindale to have them in stock. This is not the first time I received no service, I use to avoid buying from the store if particular staff was working there on a particular day. Great product range with no customer care or service.

I had the worst experience today at your Carindale store. My children brought a pair of Birkenstocks for $225. They brought a size 10 thinking it would be a perfect fix. Unfortunately he needed a 10 1/2. I took them back today to get a bigger size. The 2 sales assistance told me they had been worn and could not be replaced for bigger size. He only tried them on and walked around the lounge room as it was a fathers day present. Apparently his foot was too sweaty and had left a mark. I started crying and explained it was a fathers day present and not worn outside. They humiliated me and I said what happened when people try on shoes in the store. The lady sales woman said they wear a sock. If I had of know the strict return policy I would have made my husband wear a sock to try them on. I feel humiliated and still very upset with the salesman and woman. I run my own beauty salon and would never make a client feel like this.

I bought a pair of Frankie4 shoes from Footgear Carindale, and unfortunately they did not work for me. I only wore the shoes around the house, the shoes were in impeccable condition. I returned the shoes within 14 days and was told by staff that I could receive the refund. They then offered another brand of shoes, I declined and as soon as I declined they told me I couldn’t recieve a refund. I was quite upset, I did not raise my voice I was just unsure as to why I was allowed a refund and now because I don’t want to buy another brand of shoe I can’t get a refund. The shoes were expensive! The staff member got security, and I was completely horrified because I’m a small, 21 year old girl, who was not yelling or causing a scene, I was embarrassed and humiliated! Terrible customer service! I reached out yo head office and was ignored! Will never shop here again and will not ever recommend Footgear to anyone

Fortunately I entered this shop already having in mind what I wished to purchase. However I feel as though if I didn't, and was looking to try on different shoes, I'd have a hard time doing it. Unfortunately the store was understaffed with only two people on at the time. It was evidently difficult for the two to manage each customer asking for different sizes and so on. One lady even left as she said 'i am in a rush, please just serve me' as the lady working was being constantly interrupted by other customer's requests. The two working however were working the best they could and were still very friendly and helpful. The store overall was well kept and offered a wide variety of styles, brands and sizes. I had no trouble getting the shoe & size I was looking for.

Super rude and arrogant sales assistant directed to my wife - badgered her into buying although she was just getting an idea on which direction she wanted to go so I could go and get it for her at late night shopping. She made my wife feel insignificant and an inconvenience whilst she was there. Shame on you and your terrible customer service. I just read some of the other bad reviews, seems like a systemic culture issue.

I ordered a pair of shoes online for my fiance and I unfortunately ordered the wrong size. I exchanged for a size up, got home and realised it was still wrong. After coming back in to get the right size with a proper fitting we finally got the correct size. Christian helped us and he was so amazing and accomodating despite me being one of the most painful customers ever

Just purchased my children's Birkenstocks from Christian at Footgear. As always, he was very helpful. My son is currently in that in between adults and children's size range and finding the right fitting can be quite tricky. Christian is very knowledgable and provides fantastic service just like everyone at the store. Thanks for a great shopping experience!

As per all other comments they don’t know how to size up Birkenstocks Fitted with the wrong size and can’t change down a size - made to feel like an idiot The whole point of going to the store and buying from them is to get the correct size and pay for the service / but they can not offer this Avoid buy anywhere else

Had been to 2 other shoe stores - disinterested staff .Wide range of shoes / sandals / boots . The young man acknowledged you even though he was serving another customer, he was attentive and friendly. Will definitely make it my go to shoe store .

Such a pleasant experience being here. I was informed of the types of shoes I could go for and was still able to make my own decisions without feeling a push to sell a certain type. Extremely lovely staff and way better than online shopping!

Christian served me tonight at the carindale store and was so lovely and helpful while choosing the right shoe for me. He even offered me advise that I wasn’t aware of; when choosing the right shoe so I really appreciated that.

9.50am Tuesday lady working blatantly refused to help me with sizing and proceeded to serve the older woman in the store. Was prepared to buy a pair of shoes but it’s sad that she just ignored me after I asked for sizing.

Went to Myers for shoes and they couldn’t be more disinterested, then popped into footgear that the difference is refreshing. Knowledgeable, happy to help, smiling. We bought two sets of shoes

Didn't have the color I wanted but the gent managed to find another store who had them in stock, presently surprised when they arrived at my house the following day, so prompt!
