My mother adopted mother passed away. Her family very cruel to me. Did not accept me as family even told the police that I wasn't her real daughter when she died because they wanted to claim her body as well as her paintings that were worth a lot of money. Oh, how fast the attitude of her sister change when the police told her adopted means the same as natural birth and that she had no rights. Oh, how fast they were nice to me. So that they Can gain access to the house didn't work. But as you know, satan will find a way around anything. My special need sister, they took advantage of later on and took the paintings and other things. Little did they know 4 days before my mom passed away? She and I had a long talk. She apologized for the way she treated me and I gave her a gift of my talents by giving her a a prosthetic cap which is a wig that simulates real hair. She was so happy I didn't hear from her for 3 days. And they found her dead in her backyard watering a plant. This explained why she was so urgently wanting to talk to me. I'm glad I was obedient and went to speak to her and forgave her. She taught me a lot. I thank God for my aunt Dale p. She never treated me like that. This is my mom's adopted sister. Nevertheless, I'll never forget that day. Her sister told me that I'm just in adopted child. All the years never knew she felt this way about me. I was told that I would get a good deal from her family members. At this funeral home, I was tricked. Not only did I put my HardEarn money down for them to Start things to going. There was a couple of organizations that contributed that she belonged to to the funeral as well. I attended the funeral but when it came to my mom being cremated. I did not agree but it seemed like I had no choice. After the cremation, a date was made for the scattering of her ashes. Why did I fall for this? Finding out that the funeral home was friends with the sister that did not favor me. I hope God was watching all of this as it happebecause. One day, everybody will have to answer up for this. They scattered my mom's ashes without me being there. Thank you very much for being a sneaky biased funeral home. Because possession of my mom's body and what was supposed to happen with? It was up to me you are lucky. I did not hire an attorney who wanted to so badly to take my case. I'll let God deal with you. Just when you thought I forgot. You probably would care less, but that hurt me so bad how you did me. You should have checked with Me Before You went forward. Listening to her sister, who did not like me and scattered my mom's ashes without my permission.

I have to say sorry to the FANTASTIC team at Featheringill Mortuary they help our family with all of the funeral arrangements for my younger brother who passed suddenly back in March 2017 and I am just getting around to writing a review. All of the team from the first call late on a Friday night to picking up extra death certificates weeks latter were just the best. Lets just say the hospital gave us the standard list of most mortuary's around San Diego. I called a few other mortuary's they to me just sounded like sales people not very sensitive for the type of business they were in. HOWEVER Featheringill answered the phone and Kyle was on the other end of the phone he was very understanding and I asked if we could do the paperwork in the AM at first he knew that his schedule was booked solid for a Saturday but hearing my distress he offered to meet us at 7:30 AM to fit us in and take care of us. Kyle in person was GREAT never did he push to up-sale or play on our heart strings he listened to us and wrote up exactly what we requested. Walking out after we finished we felt such a sigh of relief that something we were dreading to do went so smoothly Kyle was such a great person thank you Kyle. But the great customer service does not stop there we called them with questions 4-5 times and every time the staff no matter what time it was during the day took the time and care to answer our questions. In wrapping this up if you are reading this review I know your pain how you feel and all the questions running thru your mind breath and do yourself a favor and call Fettheringill. Blessings to you.

My experience with Featheringill Mortuary was extremely satisfying. Unfortunately, I don’t remember everyone’s name to give all the credit to. However, I remember Kori, Kyle, and Meagan. They were very helpful throughout the process. Kori makes everything going smoothly at the last minute. I spoke to one representative. He helps me process everything (Sorry; I don’t remember his name). Thank you so much for helping prepare what I needed to do & he introduces me to Kori. Within two days, everything is completely done. Especially, the time I went through a very difficult time of my life when my Mother passed away. I can feel that everyone there is sincere & going the extra miles to help me get everything done nicely. I strongly recommend EVERYONE to use the service there because you can save tons of money & the headache running around & don’t know what to do next. Most places just want to charge everything extra. I’m thrilled & lucky to have met wonderful people like them. No words could express how I feel. Btw; I normally don’t write reviews. However, I feel it’s a must when you all did a wonderful job for my family. Thank you so much & Be safe!!!

Featheringill Mortuary is the only place I would take a loved one. We have used them since my grandparents passed in the early 80's. (My mom actually went to school with Wallie Featheringill) At 89 we lost her and was once again so impressed with they way they do business. They are caring and compassionate and do not try to take advantage of you finacially at a very difficult time. So good about walking you through the process. You hear horror stories about Mortuary's and how they exploit families during the emotional process loosing a loved one. You will not find that at Featheringill's. They are amazing!

Today August 11th 20/20 I made one of the most important decisions in my life. To purchase myself burial insurance through Global Atlantic Financial Group with featheringill Mortuary will take over in the event of my passing. Daniel Moore the representing veteran for Veteran's burial Center was very amazing and help me through this process. This makes me feel very good in my heart to have this in order to make it very easy on my loved ones. I just wanted to share that and thank you featheringill Mortuary for accepting me. My name is Chevelle a United States Marine Corps veteran Semper Fi.

Paul and the rest of the team at Featheringill Mortuary were so incredibly helpful when my auntie passed away. She lived in San Diego with the rest of her family living abroad and we had no idea on how to handle things in the USA. From the first point of contact they helped us out in so many ways, so nice and helpful, answering numerous questions, emails and helping out with adminstrative issues, the list goes on... Always with a quick response and so professional. We cannot thank them enough for all their kind help and assistance.

This rating is only for the website which crashed my phone and also for the policy of not allowing condolence messages without an email. The only reason for them wanting this information is to Market to me I gave them all the rest of my mailing address and my personal information. This is an unfair policy to put people through. Thank you for considering my review.

My extended family has employed Featheringill since before I was born, I believe. My father practically crusaded against mortuaries and their seedy practices to rip off seniors. Featheringill is the only place he would allow his parents to go, or my mom's. This year they have/are serving my family twice. Good people. They take very good care of us.

We are using Featheringill Mortuary for the fourth time in 25 years and would not even consider going elsewhere. As always, we have been treated with the care you would expect to come only from family. Very professional and caring...a combination so needed at a time of loss and grief.

These guys took very good care of my father's arrangements. Price listing is available online and was very reasonable. Up todate features as well. I would definitely recommend them. FYI - I rarely write reviews but this one was well deserved :)
