UPDATED. Great place for a meal. From West to East you've got the Canton Noodle House (noodles and dim sum), Thanh Thao (Viet/Chinese, full menu including delish salads and pho), Tony's Bakery (baked goods, bubble tea), Joy Palace (traditional dim sum service all day and seafood in the evening) and Bakery Sandwiches (banh mi and bubble tea). I forgot Chatime, the franchise bubble tea shop between Thanh Thao and Tony's (please note it's the only chain in the mall - despite the pressures of gentrification, the South End is still a haven for independent businesses and GREAT FOOD).
Sy Pharmacy is at the edge of the Empire Way Shopping Center which has a little of everything I need: hair salon, dentist, pharmacy, restaurants of different Asian cuisines ($- $$), plus it's near a Circle K gas station (has two Red Boxs), a McDonald's, and a drive thru Starbucks. The Sy Pharmacy is a great addition to the shopping center.
This is for the bakery. I walked in to support my local business & unfortunately, it was "Cash Only" day. The place is not really welcoming & Inwas even acknowledged when I walked in. They had a limited selection of breads & they looked delicious, but I'll never know. Midas 3-stars for the limited selection & cash only limitation.
Best fresh bread in Seattle is located here at Q Bakery. The giant butter bread is a bargain at 2.20 and the French roll of various sizes are a bargain as well. Please don't show up as I don't want this place popular and I have to wait in a long line, lol.
Great little shops and stores tucked in (e.g. Q bakery) together off MLK, for some wonderful treats and sandwiches. Parking lot needs a little work and clean up. But still a good spot to swing by to grab one of your favorite bites.
They have fantastic customer service I absolutely love it here I would never go anywhere else even with my eyes closed I still give them five stars
I was here to visit Sy Pharmacy, which is a great place. There is a free parking lot here, along with restaurants and other small businesses.
The empty grocery store is still vacant after so many years; the signs are still up. Restaurants seem to survive better.
this is a very small shopping area I believe only four or five stores. I only been to the bakery which is awesome.
Ross is not only dress for less, but also save on furniture, household, electronic, etc.
I liked this place It's not my usual, but that's the reason why I chose to go here.
Not many shops trash everywhere and homeless sleeping in entrance of abandin shops
Yummy baked goods and a good variety of snacks. Friendly staff. Good prices.
They just built it a brand new building. But I haven't been inside yet.
Q bakery is the best thing over there their bread is top tear.
Banh mi is cheap and fresh. Come early as line gets long.
Went to joys place. Awesome food as always.
I really love this place!
Great banh mi
