The first time I went to this salon I had my hair completely natural. I did the lights and I really liked. Second time I was already with the lights and I wanted just to retouch the roots. So after 3 washes my hair got yellow. I contact Elias and he said that could happen if I went to a swimming pool. I said I didn 't and he said I could have another appointment without cost to tonner my hair again. I wasn't 100% according to this because in my opinion I didn't wanna tonner my hair each month. After 4 days I went to a different salon near my place to hydrate and the girl saw a lot of stains (look attached photos). She took some pictures and I sent to Elias. He was always defending himself saying that "hairdressers can say whatever they want", but that was not the point, I had the pictures to prove it was stained. We argue a little, and he said I could come to fix it. But I didn't trust his work anymore. He said that sometimes when it happens in the front it shows, if it's in the back and small doesn't show. How I suppose to know how it looks like in the back? It's up to him to say me and if it's something wrong he should correct right away. Because if I hadn't gone to the other salon I will never figured out. Well, at the end he said he stood up doing my hair for one hour and half with love and my hair would cost 500$ at any salon in downtown, not 300$ as I had paid. And if I don't want to come back he would pay me 30% back. I was feeling very bad because I was sad about the result of this job, and I felt very offended with all his words. He should have said he was sorry that he didn't realize it was stained and invited me to come back, but no, he was always giving his excuses in a defensive way and never put himself in my place. I have all rights to share my opinion about his job here, so I gave him 1 star, but today he sent me a text saying that he can't understand why I was trying to hurt his business. He even mentioned that "life is a Karma!!" What that suppose to mean? For God sake is that a threat? But, as I answered him: "I really wish you good luck, but not with sarcasm, I wish you to have some empathy and understanding that you work with women's self-esteem, and as I mentioned before, mine is very low right now". I do believe he is a good hairdresser, maybe that day he did my hair he was in a rush, or a little bit tired, everyone can make mistakes. But I hope that he realizes those mistakes and learn how to treat better a customer when their come with a complain. That's completely normal and we should be prepared how to handle it, mostly when we deal with women's self-esteem.

The salon Elias. The salon itself is very cozy and welcoming, it feels like you are walking into a friend's home. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. What stood out to me the most is the attention to detail that Salon Elias provides. They take the time to listen to your needs and concerns and offer suggestions that are tailored specifically to your hair type and face shape. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Salon Elias and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great haircut, color, or just a relaxing salon experience. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of service is excellent. I will definitely be making this my go-to salon from now on!

I have been a customer of Elias ever since I moved to Montreal almost two years ago. He is the best in town for coloring and highlights and brushing. He is kind, listens to what the customer wants and gives candid recommendations based on his extensive experience. I have never left the salon feeling disappointed or unsatisfied. The staff are nice. The salon is spacious, clean, close to de l'église metro station. A lot of parking spots are nearby too. Highly recommended.

I came in this morning very anxious because I previously bleach my own hair, long story short I made a huge mess which I thought was imparable.
