I don't like doctors at all,but have changed my mind after going to this amazing clinic, one of the reasons I never liked doctors was no matter what ,always felt like rushed through as fast as possible, and felt I was a cash cow, all at this clinic where friendly, listened and where concerned about my needs and answered my questions, the nurse was absolutely professional with checking my weight,hight,blood pressure and was a pleasure to chat with,the doctor was just as good,I felt she really cared about me,then I got a blood test,unbelievable, I didn't feel a thing,I actually asked for another blood draw because it was so good but was refused with a chuckle ,even the girls at reception desk where awesome I would recommend this clinic without hesitation to anyone who hates doctors. Just one more thing, everyone had a nice smile and really seemed like they enjoyed working there.

Sumedha Amarasinghe is my main doctor and she's an absolute gem. She's thorough and kind and she takes problems seriously. I've also seen Kanchana Ranasinghe once and she was also wonderful. Both these doctors are fantastic and highly recommended. I only give 3 stars, though, because Gubendran Vivekanandan acted irritated and dismissive when I first saw him for my sudden side pains. He told me it was "probably just a trivial sprain" and sent me off with no examination or referrals for tests. Three months of pain later and I learn it's kidney stones. Several other people I know have since had similar negative experiences with him. See Gubendran if you have a minor cold. See literally anyone else if you have something more.

I travel 45 minutes to go here. I used to live up the road and finally found a doctor who cares and investigates and has boundaries wont over medicate. Dr SUMEDHA AMARASINGHE is the only doctor I've found in Australia (been here 9 years) that actually is interested in a long term health plan. I find it so hard to read bad reviews at this practice. It is sad that the reviews for this clinic are directed at reception and that those reviews go against the doctors. There is no one else I'd trust. I have also seen other doctors here and had no issues. I have been trying to go to find a doctor near me other side of Brisbane for a year and have had 3 terrible experiences with 3 doctors who do not care at all...

I wouldn't come back and I strongly suggest people to be cautious when making a booking with them. The reason is very clear-I booked an appointment for a vaccine, they confirmed the date&time. I even took a sick leave for this appointment from my work. They told me that they don't have the vaccine ready and I had to wait for them to collect the vaccine somewhere else. It's such a bad management, now I know why it is always quiet. I will discourage people for going there. At least, if you decided to go there-make sure they are on time and they know what they are doing

Everybody please listen to me do not go to this garbage clinic again, especially to complain about the Indian lady at the reception. Her attitude is terrible rude, and she discriminates against patients! It's hard to believe that this is the behavior of a life-saving medical institution! It's too dirty and too rude! No matter what illness the patient has, as a healthcare professional, there is no professionalism whatsoever! Just check your Google ratings; they've all been affected by this kind of staff!"

I wish there is an option where I could not give a Star at all. They don't deserve even one star. The worst place I've been so far, I was given only 15mins to explain my side while the doctor look at the computer trying to write what I told her, then I was told your time is up and need to hurry up coz she got other patients to attend to.What kind of doctor would do such thing to her patient? I am never ever going there again.

What a cheap doctor and service... First I have to wait for 30 minutes over my appointment and then I have to waste 15 minutes more with very unprofessional doctor. She ( Dr Sumedha Amarasinghe ) was just writing test for minor sore throat, and explaining about stone in my month... what a rubbish. I will head to the government departments just to cut apart these sort of unprofessional and money maker doctors.

Doctors don't take serious I went for my 10 month son check up but they refuse to have a look at him. I mentioned on phone call I think my son have sore throat but am not 100%. I mentioned he is not eating and drinking well from last 3 days. Doctor told me to wait for another day doctor Aixia Wu

Evening appointments- not available. Doctors prescriptions/advise are not great either. If you care for your health please do not visit this place. 0 out of 10 from me.

this place says its open on a sunday.you make a booking for on the hotdoc app for sundays and low and behold they are closed.not very professional if you ask me.they need to pull there fingers out update there where site and hotdoc app to that that we are not open on sundays.rating is 1

Long waiting hours with no logical explanation or reasoning. Unless you have lot of time to waste in their waiting area find another place who got some respect for your time. Dr Sumedha is a good doctor and had couple more good doctors as well in the past. But the place is hopeless.

Have been going there for years after a colleague recommended and now I have my whole family going there . Always found Dr Sumedha caring and provides excellent information and timely referrals . Excellent service from reception and nursing staff as well

The doctors here have always been great. However the receptionists need to learn better customer service skills and lose the attitude. No one likes going to the doctors. And we appreciate covid has been hard. No need to be rude and have a bad attitude.

This is a bulk-billing GP. Unlike some bulk-billing practices I have found their service over multiple visits to be very good with seemingly knowledgeable doctors, good follow up and without the pressure to rush the next appointment. Recommended.

Always have to wait for 45-60 mins even when I have booked the appointment, whats the point of appointments then. Just keep the room between appointments so that doc can have enough time, and patience time don’t get wasted. Please. …

This place is not a bulk billing only weekends, the receptionist did not tell me the doctor who was available it is not a bulk billing doctor, so shame, diagnosis - not sure I’ve re booked my regular doctor at different practice lol

You make an appointment online or via phone and they STILL don't have your appointment registered. It's getting really annoying because then I wait longer and they make it seem like they are doing me a favour by fitting me in.

I have had nothing but sub par experiences with these doctors. One doctor essentially told me I “needed find Jesus” because of a lifestyle decision. This time they cancelled my appointment so they could go home early. Avoid.

Booked a procedure online more than a week ahead of the appointment for a Saturday afternoon. Got called 10 minutes prior to my appointment after arriving for it that they are unable to do that on a Saturday.

Dr Sumedha Amarasinghe is one of the loveliest doctors I have ever met. Showed genuine care about my concern, gave an effective treatment option and just all around displayed great patient care.

Receptionists are very friendly and welcoming, and Dr Amarasinghe is very helpful, empathetic and attentive, always looking for the optimum solution for her patients concerns and needs.

I have been a patient of Dr Sumedha from Eight Mile Plains Family doctors. The entire crew is amazing and generally keeps to the appointment times. The practice is kept neat and tidy.

This doctor is our family doctors for atleast 7 years. Doctors whose medical option and care for patients is unmatchable. would not go anywhere else even if fully booked for 2 days.
