I had a horrible experience with this company. My fiancé proposed with a beautiful ring that I later bent when I caught it on a door. I contacted the company to ask for them to fix it, Erica said it should be about $85. After waiting weeks to get it back and calling numerous times I was told it was taking a while because of the manner in which it had bent and they had to basically remake the ring. They said it should cost more like $500 to fix but they were honouring the price they had originally told me (i didn’t care I just wanted it fixed). When I got it back it was…a different shape completely. My original ring was a pear shape with a pointed top and when they gave it back it was rounded on the top, it was nice but not the ring my fiancé had chosen for me, when I communicated my shock Erica actually said she liked this way better than the pointed ring and that I should keep it like this. I couldn’t believe it. We asked them to return it to the original shape and when I finally got that ring back a small diamond fell out a few days later! When I brought it back once again they returned it to me with 2 diamonds around the band missing and when I once again confronted them they claimed the missing diamonds on the sides of the band was the jewellers’ “signature”, not just holes where they had taken a diamond to replace another one. The prongs holding the diamond in place were also very janky looking as though someone was making a ring for the first time. The whole situation was very traumatic and upsetting.

I bought my fiance her engagement ring here and I am so happy with the result. I got her the secret heart ring in 18k rose gold with a central oval diamond and engraving on the inside. It was time sensitive as i had bought a ring elsewhere but they couldn't deliver on time for a trip to Dominican Republic where i planned to propose. Ecksand did the impossible and delivered the ring in 1 week. Moreover, seeing as i had to cancel the order with the other diamond dealer, i hadnt received the refund for the original ring in time to make the initial deposit. Ecksand was understanding of my situation and i was able to make a smaller deposit until i received the funds a few days later to pay the rest. My fiancee and I recently went to Ecksand to get a custom engagement ring made, reusing the diamond from a very old heirloom ring. The staff at Ecksand was wonderful from start to finish. My order was very easy to place, especially as a single earring. It was delivered when promised and was packaged in impressive way. Ecksand sent it in a box in a larger velvet bag. They also included a small bag and a copy of the authenticity form. I will definitely use the larger bag for travel and/or storage for other jewelry. It was very professional and had a very unique and special presentation. The earring itself is very well made and a edgy but classic design. The Ecksand team was very good and the final rings were phenomenal. Erica was able to walk us through the various options at our first appointment and we were able to make the decision with all the information we needed. However, correspondence after the the first appointment was challenging and I had to email or call multiple times to arrange pick up or get questions answered. The secret heart right caught my eyes at the very first sight with reasonable price tag. Plus, Alizee and Eva was so helpful through out the process.
