My fiancée had a very specific idea in mind with the style of ring she would like, and I had some diamonds that had been passed down from her grandmother, which I wanted to have refit to the styling she liked. DK was a consummate professional the entire time, and it was clear that he knows his craft very well. He educated me honestly about how clarity, sizing and the upsides and drawbacks of how various materials would work with the ring I wanted made. All of this help contributed to the crafting of the exact ring she would come to love. The entire time, comfortability and transparency were the name of the game, as he took the time and care to explain the entire process to me, so I would feel secure leaving the stones to be refit without any stress. He works with the best craftsmen and he made the entire process painless, uncomplicated, and (surprisingly) quick! I even had an engraving put into the ring, which then needed to be resized slightly, and the resize was completely unnoticeable once they were done with it. Derek was an absolute pleasure to work with. I went into this with very little prior knowledge of diamonds or rings, and Derek (very patiently) was able to help me figure out what I wanted within my budget. Because we were in lockdown and in different provinces at the time, he held Zoom meetings with me through the entire process.
