We called and they seemed eager for our business at first. Some conversation ensued and the tone changed rather quickly and then they couldn’t seem to connect us to a broker in their office today nor could they get us insurance in the next couple days. We get it, it’s busy. But “schedule in a day or two” is tough to do in this more immediate world. First call taker in their Commercial department seemed great but when transferred to personal insurance (aka personal information is shared) the tune changed. We are done with Inova, done with BrokerLink, and need to park our business somewhere. Just seems to be elsewhere, and not just DeLuca. In review, ask service providers if they are inclusive and friendly (Happy Pride and Indigenous History Month) and if they say “yes”, then ask them, “how so?” Then see if they want your business and see how hard they work for it. We are done working hard to get insurance. Gave two stars because they answered the phone right away with right tone and demeanour plus their office is located close to our offices. I had insurance with a lady named Christin a broker here for years, unexpectedly my emails were not returned and I was advised and new lady sandy was working there now. I’ve had many issues here. Today I had called but she couldn’t help me stating she’s too busy and no one else is in the office for days but still had time to insist on the over charges and double bank charges were all fine because the insurance company finds ways to not give refunds for cancellations I sold the vehicle and should not have been charged for months after. I felt the service was rude unprofessional and does not have time staff or resources to take on clients by my experience with her. Very disappointed I was with this insurance company for 5 years until this last year it just turned into horrible customer service very judgemental condescending tone and scam with new staff. Would not recommend But doubt anyone can get a quote anyway

We are new to Alberta ! Didn’t realize all the steps needed to insure a vehicle here ! I bc looked up insurance brokers , and found Deluca insurance ! What caught my attention was the 40+ years in business ! We went in to the office at Whiteoaks Square , the ladies there were wonderful ! Let us know what we needed , and that Sandy would get back to us with a quote ! By the time we got home , we had an email from Sandy ! She absolutely went above and beyond , getting the best price for our needs ! She was back and forth with us answering all our questions ! So many questions ! In BC, you go to one stop and it’s all done ! After all the back and forth , between getting vehicle inspected , to getting insurance and registering the vehicle ! We are officially Alberta drivers ! I have been dealing with Deluca Insurance for a few years now and until recently never had to file a claim, I emailed Chrystin about my claim and she responded quickly and guided me to what was required to get done, she informed me about my coverage and that all was covered with no deductible to pay (It was a hit and run). This is what all insurance companies should be like and not have to fight for what is right and what your covered for. Plus by far their rates for coverage are the best i have ever gotten, even when i phone around they are always the best price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Deluca Insurance to all my friends and family. I had an accident in the beginning of July. Of course the car I was driving, was one which I loved, but is older. A 1998 Honda Civic SI. I was not at fault. The other person’s insurance company kept giving me the run around. On and on for about a month it went this way. I should’ve just spoken w Lisa (Huget), the person who set is up w our coverage initially. Within 3 days, I had a settlement in my hands and full coverage on the Civic SI I just acquired. Lisa is excellent, and probably the best person I could have ever hoped to be my insurance person!!! Thanks Lisa!!! My family and I are so grateful for you and your efforts. 10/10

What a difference dealing with a smaller Broker. Amanda, Lisa and Keri have been Very helpful in helping me with vehicle insurance. I formerly dealt with Drayden Insurance for over a decade, however the service recently is horrible and cold. If you want prompt kind service Deluca is the way to go !
