My husband asked me what I wanted for my 50th birthday. I only turn 50 once, and I should find something beautiful and special. So I took a trip to Crown Family Jewellers at Carindale as I have a love of all things diamond and gold..! Kevin was working at Carindale that afternoon, and he greeted me with a big smile! Asked me if I needed some assistance. I spoted this amazing ring in the display case, and Kevin happily showed it to me. I said to him, "I want this ring, but with a London Blue Topaz stone." Kevin quickly did some calculations and told me they could certainly make me a ring like that, but much, much more beautiful and within my budget. I was so excited! Chris got in touch a few weeks later and said my stone had arrived and I should come and look at it to see if it was what I wanted. I was so amazed at how beautiful and big the stone looked, even before it was set into the ring! And the unusual Tycoon cut was just perfect. Not too long passed and Chris called again (the week before my birthday) to tell me my ring was ready! I was really, really excited to see what it looked like. When I walked in the store, Chris was beaming! She was also so excited to see my reaction...! And wow! When I opened the box, my eyes just widened in absolute awe of this amazing, beautiful 18ct yellow & white gold, London Blue Topaz & Diamond double halo ring! It was more than I imagined.... So stunning. I am so happy with it!! Its perfect, and I love it...! And so does my husband...! Kevin and Chris are so knowledgeable in all aspects of fine jewellery. They can create an amazing piece, exactly the way you want it, whatever the occassion. The craftsmanship of the jeweller is second to none. The passion shows in the end result. Thankyou so much Kevin & Chris. I'm so very grateful that I came into Crown Family Jewellers that afternoon. I will certainly keep coming back for all my future fine jewellery obsessions... An unforgettable horrible experience which cannot be erased from my memory. My fiance and l went in to enquire about a piece of jewellery and came away feeling cheapened and degraded - to have a staff member distastfully say to me "where'd you get that". I had to ask where did l get what as l had no idea of what this rude woman was referring to. To then have this rude woman say "that" pointing to my beautiful engagement ring. Which l might add is a one of piece. To then snarl and say "hhmm seen it before". Who does this. I would expect more from someone who is an adult than no manners and being completely rude. Well this woman tops it all. I will never shop there, and l will tell all my friends never to go there.

Disgraceful... would never get a watch serviced there. Refused to email an itemised quote, then told me my AUTOMATIC watch was damaged from the battery corroding inside. I rang 12 times asking for my itemised quote over 3.5 weeks. Not once did they return my call. Then i was told the watch had been serviced after i said not to go ahead, and if i wanted it back they would have to strip it back. If a company doesnt know the difference between an automatic and a Quartz watch, you know thats a Red flag. I was also told the owner would call on 2 occasions which never occurred. Disgraceful +++

*edit - I just picked up my earrings that needed to be repaired and am still in shock by what a good job was done. The workmanship done by Colin is absolutely amazing and the price is unbelievable. I would not hesitate to go back and would highly recommend this jewellers to anyone! I had a wonderful experience with the ladies today at crown jewellers. I had some gold jewellery that needed to be repaired and they were extremely helpful and very well priced. Would highly recommend.

Great help with crown jewellers. Especially Kevin. He pretty much schooled me on diamonds when looking for an engagement ring. Had one made and the final product was better then I even expected!! I highly recommend crown and will be referring my friends and family if they ever in need! Brilliant!

Recently bought an item from this store, I found it at another store at a much cheaper price. Crown Family Jewellers were able to match that price which was wonderful. They went out of their way to fix the error and will be happy to shop there again.
