First I would like to say I love the food here! BUT, only when they get it right! I work at the mall so my coworkers and I have ordered here multiple times, usually pick up orders. Too many times we have picked up our order and had to go back because they forget to put chips or bakery items in our bag. The convenience of ordering online and picking up our food is a benefit we really enjoy HOWEVER, they have a order ahead counter that is NEVER used. I always have to get in the regular line to pick up my order because no one will assist you at the order ahead counter. Lastly, the last order we purchased was the last time we will be eating here! We placed an order for a sandwich and asked for no tomatoes because our coworker is highly allergic to tomatoes. I picked up the order and went back to our store and when she bit into her sandwich she realized they had put tomatoes in it and spit it right out. I took the order back and let the cashier know and she called her manager KARLA over. She told me they would remake it and left, without even apologizing for the mistake! Food allergies are not something to take lightly and the people preparing orders should really pay more attention to orders! Had my coworker swallowed that bite off her sandwich who knows what could have happened all because someone didn't read an order correctly. I also emailed customer service and never received a response!
If I could give 0 starts I would! I have dined in at this location and received less than stellar service but I did not write a review. Due to the proximity to where I live I decided to give it another shot. I called and place a to go order at 11:45 this morning. I ordered breakfast items and was informed that do not serve potatoes after 11 am. This was not an issue for me. The person who took the order said it would be ready in 10 min. My boyfriend showed up 15 min later and an employee took payment and said she would have to check to see if the order was ready. When she returned she advised that they had stopped serving breakfast at 11 am and they needed to take out all the items needed to make our order. After waiting an additional 30 min for an order that was to be ready in 10 min they finally said that they would be bagging up our order shortly. 45 min later someone finally emerged with the order. There was no apology or consideration for the amount of time we wasted waiting on a simple pancake breakfast order. Not to mention the icing on top was after getting home we discovered one of the items that we paid for was missing! We will never visit this location again. The convenience of the location is not worth the headache and awful customer service you receive. Take your business to another location trust me!
Every time I have gone to this location the workers have been very rude. My order is never ready or they say they didn’t receive my order. The first time I went they said they didn’t receive my order but I had the confirmation on my phone and they had taken out the money from my account. So I had to place my order again and call my bank to get reimbursed. The most recent time I went, my sister and I order some of there bread, and we decided to go shop for 30 min, knowing that they never have our order ready. When we arrived they told me they don’t have any ticket for my order or my sisters. They grabbed the manager and the manager came back and told me they did have my order but not my sisters. I told them that we ordered the same thing. He went and just grabbed two bags of bread without even bagging it up. I asked if he could please get a bag, since I was already carrying bags and my sister was carrying her baby and he rolled his eyes and walked away. He sent the cashier to bring me the bad instead. I am so disappointed with the way the employees are at this location, and even the food is not up to par with how it should be, compared to the other locations.
Usually love Corner Bakery at Northpark mall. Good food and service. Today Saturday February 17 2018 I experienced the worst service I have ever had. Paid for the food at 1 pm after 30 minutes I went to ask about my order and was told the food was on plates and was being placed on trays to he brought out. I go back to my table and wait for my order, ten minutes pass and I go ask for the order again and i am told to wait. At this point i ask for the management. Once I spoke with the I showed mine the time stamp on my order and I also told him I was told food was being placed on trays ten minutes prior, at this point I have waited 40 minutes. Ten minutes later food come out, soup I ordered were cold, Macaroni for my kids was cold. I have to get the managers attention again to let him know this is unacceptable but I am told they are trying their best. I understand they were busy and definitely understaffed, but the manager should have done a better job as I was not the only person waiting for their order. There were 5 other people with over 40 minutes of wait for orders by their receipt time stamps. Management needs to allocate proper staff for peak times.
The very first time I visited the North Park store the manager with red hair literally looked in my face and walked away came back to the register and was so busy getting thi gs together that she never took my order. The young lady that took my order was so pleasant that it redeemed my faith in your service. Well today I go back in the same lady with red hair literally took the order of the person who came in after me. I stood there almost my entire lunch break just for her to look over me. I called back to the store after this, and she answered and advised she is the manager and do not have corporate number. The weird thing is I have been back to the store after the first encounter with her, and I had a pleasant experience with other employees. I do not know this lady, but for some reason she is refusing service

This is a quick and easy stop for lunch while I’m in the mall. Today I encountered Alice for the first time who was extremely rude. She wasn’t aware that I was aware of her mannerisms when I asked simple questions regarding my meal of choice. At the very end, she went to the kitchen to inquire about a food preference and I could see the irritation on her face and in her body language as she asked the chefs if the accommodation could be made. When she noticed I could see into the kitchen, she smiled and acted as if I hadn’t seen. I’m in here at least once or twice a week, if new members are being onboarded, I’d expect for the same level of customer service to be instilled in them as the existing staff members (which is why I come here in the first place)

I have worked at a Corner Bakery, I know the standards. This is nothing like other Corner Bakery's. I am very disappointed in the quality of food. I decided to get a sandwich and pasta, choose 2, plus a brownie. The pasta was ice cold, the cheese on the top hadn't even melted. The only warm part was the butter at the bottom. The sandwich was cold AND as hard as a brick. I couldn't even cut it with my knife. I had to break it with my hands to eat it. Then the brownie has was as hard as the table. It also had stabbed marks all over it. Little circles. It also apparently comes with bugs who knew! I have no idea who was cooking, or what happened. This is not the nornal high standards of Corner Bakery. I won't be coming back, and will tell my employees to not come, I will reccomend other places in the mall.
Corner Bakery is a good place to stop if you're not too hungry. I say that because at the prices they charge, you will probably opt for the half sandwich and soup combo. And their sandwiches are small, made even smaller when halved. I paid around $12 after adding a drink, and when they brought my food out, I thought they brought me a kids meal by accident. Admittedly, the food was good, but it didn't fill me up. I feel for $12, you should be filled up. You can get a footlong sandwich at Subway for cheaper. A FOOTLONG. Here, a small Panini is 8.99. And their bakery goods are quite pricey as well. I whole coffee cake will set you back about $20. Again, no qualms with the taste of their food, you just don't get enough of it. Value cost them a few stars off on rating.
I never thought I'd be sharing a negative experience about Corner Bakery-North Park Mall. My last 2, maybe 3, visits have been disappointing....mainly because of the disgusting tasting food, and then the awful service. I dined-in and upon receiving my food I ask for a towel to clean and wipe crumbs from the table I sat at; this is in the era of a pandemic, I was DECLINED, the man who brought my stale sandwich and tepid bake potato soup said he had nothing to give me to clean where I sat and ate my lunch. Before 05-07-2022, I visited this same location and before leaving I ask for and spoke to the manager about the food, BUT they corrected my order BEFORE I sat down and ate.
This location has serious issues. I ordered a simple salad in-person (around 6 pm on a weekday evening) for dine-in, and I kid you not I was waiting 25 minutes. Turns out they absolutely forgot my order, even though it wasn’t very busy. When I asked them what happened, the clerk shrugged and told me that they had staffing shortages. The tables were dirty and nobody was there to wipe them down, so finding a nice place to sit was a challenge. I complained and the location’s manager ended up refunding my money, but I don’t trust their service enough to ever try this location again.

Quality dropped a lot! Ordered a entrée size harvest salad two days ago and it looks like a smaller size in the entrée size box. The salad used to be full of mix greens and now it's barely full. The portion was obviously smaller and when I was eating it, I found a lot of old rotting pieces of lettuce and mixed greens that I had to throw out which made the salad even less. And there wasn't much of the blue cheese either, I had to search for them and I found one piece. Kind of not worth it anymore. I rather eat in other restaurant. Also, They had good deals and coupons before the new coupon system. Such a disappointment.
Came in Sunday afternoon around 3. Long line, one cashier who was really slow. I ordered corner combo with uptown turkey and potato soup and fruit cup..waited like 15 mind, someone came out asked if I ordered roastbeef. I said no, told her what I ordered. Another 10 minutes, got my order out, will no fruit cup, instead, chip. How hard to get the simple order right. Not sure if under staff, but I did see 2 kitchen employees standing around by the door Disappointed

I bought a macaroni and cheese for my 7 year old daughter at corner bakery at north park mall in dallas Texas … when I saw her plate she had a roach in her macaroni!!! She did not notice I was then I went to tell the manager she said you are not the only one this has happened before with other people ! Be careful people if you don’t believe just check you food before you eat it! They refunded me the money I spent and apologized that’s it!
Ordered pickup and the fact that you all had the audacity to serve me a worthless amount of fruit for the price of $1.99.... and then a sorry amount of pasta for my “Choose Two” NOT to mention the salad was so bare... I will not return here. I hope you all that do eat here READ reviews and do the same, maybe another location could/would be happy to serve me adequate portions, especially for online ordering/PICKUP...
Disaster!!! After waiting 30 minutes for the food, was not at all people at 19:30 of a Thursday and they came to tell us sorry we finish a dish not more available the one ordered. After wait longer again serve the dish without the cutlery. Looking for some was disappeared all waiters. The baguette sandwich was not backed, it was white color. Waiters was unhappy no courtesy at all. I will forget about this place
I had grilled cheese panini, tomato basil soup and lemon bar. It was delicious.

Always loved this location. Staff is still amazing and helpful. However, they apparently have made a few changes since coming out of the pandemic. The drinks are nearly non-existent. Nothing to choose from in the way of drinks and they always serve your food on a paper plate. Pasta and salad are difficult to eat on paper plates. Eating experience is not nearly where it was just a few months ago.
We went there for a quick snack, so we had croissants, mine was chocolate and they were so good. We met Javier whom was so nice and attentive to our needs. The place was full and very clean. I will stop by again when I go shop at North Park Mall.

Great location and thank you for the birthday treat! Please let corporate know about the coffee cups! They are not strong on the bottom...first cup bottom fell out when putting the lid on...second cup the coffee started soaking through the bottom. I love the coffee there but I've stopped going for it because I don't want my cup to break and have coffee spill everywhere.
Helpful and friendly staff. Ivy seemed excited to be working there and made an extra effort to make us feel good about our visit. Nancy brought our order out and followed up to make sure we had what we needed. The staff at this restaurant goes above and beyond. I hope management recognizes the value their customer service team brings to the dining experience here.
If you want your coffee in a classy place, this place is for you. Very very pretty and clean. The service was as expected, the coffee and pastry were exceptional. I didn't realize it was in the mall but worth the walk around.

The location is in a nice enclave in North Park mall. The service was nice the pastries were not. No one enjoyed theirs. They were too sweet with not much flavor. The coffee, on the other hand, is fantastic.

If La Madeline and Jason's Deli had a love child this is it. A little pricey but the food is consistently good and service is always friendly even when it's busy. I go to the NorthPark mall location a couple of times a month and its always good. It has a nice old deli atmosphere and is a cozy place to eat and people watch.
Table and chairs on patio needed to be wiped down before we could sit down. Even if it weren't a pandemic, I'd expect better cleaning than this. Seems like there's always a fair number of Freestyle flavors that are out. Otherwise, food was good.

Food was underwhelming (pasta overcooked, flavorless sauce/dressing). Service was not that great (food order was incorrect). Staff was limited and tables were left dirty. 2/3 of the automated soda machines were unavailable. We ate the food, because we were hungry. I’ll pass next time. A detailed review to come.
Worst customer service ever. They would rudely argue with you about your order instead of just fixing it and moving on. The sandwich was bland and cold, I couldn't even finish half of my order! they didn't ever bother to press the bread like any panini order!! my sandwich was missing stuff as well!
Service is slow and the food didn’t look or taste fresh. My cold sandwich looked hastily put together and resembled something I would get on an airplane even though we waited 30 minutes for our food. Plus, the lettuce was rotting. Really overpriced—you’re better off eating at the food court.
Great morning dining and ambience. Mall walkers and pleasant people in and around this restaurant. Staff is very friendly and customer service oriented. A Must do.

My first time here and I loved it. The food was delicious and good variety. Authentic cuban flavors! The restaurant was very clean and pretty inside. There was a guy playing the guitar, great atmosphere for family/ couples. The staff was knowledgable and helpful.
Low quality food, with no care paid to ensure a quality product. Ordered quite possibly the worst sandwich of my life. Staff needs to be retrained on the use of hairnets, as I found multiple long black hairs in my food. Will not be spending my money here again.
Pretty good food. Also pretty similar to Panera Bread. Not being from Texas, maybe that's their version of it. Food was fresh. Service was good and place was very clean. The turkey avacado Cobb salad was pretty good and I recommend the lemon bars for dessert.
Food and service at this corner bakery location are pretty good, and they have easy access if you park on the south parking lot of the mall, been coming here for many years and will keep coming back.

Only one of them that is open for dinner now. Good food. But usually dirty. The red haired lady at the register is very sweet but unbeliabky slow. Takes forever for her to type in an order for a single dish. Thought it was bad computers for
We started to place our order and from the beginning when Jessica said 4 times "it will take 30 minutes are you sure you want to place your order" we should have known to leave! She was unbelievably rude the entire time, and we sat down and
I Have Always Ordered Broccoli Cheese Soup There. But we went there today and it was not the same Soup was not Good. This was the only place that served AWESOME BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP Guess I will have to find some other place to go.
Good place to have a coffee and pastry in the morning. Ok for lunch when taking a shopping break. It's dismal in the evening. Not worth a moment of your time. Servers and food preparers are agonizingly slow and indifferent. Food orders are
Holiday tradition bummer. Always looked forward to the Holidays festivities at North Park and the good food, but Corner Bakery Cafe has come up way short on service and quality. It stared by the 30 plus minute wait for the food but coming
I visited this location for lunch yesterday. Such a disappointment. I have never been in a restaurant where every employee was so negative, unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I made it to the counter to place my order, the young lady taking
Alice at the north park location is a horrible look for your company. She has a completely disrespectful attitude and rolls her eyes and acts pissed the whole time. We left and went well never be back.

Corner Bakery is a nice place to take family to eat at. Good customer service. Now, Corner Bakery has some of the best pancakes I have ever had for breakfast. Always so fluffy and the fruit is just as good. More
Good food and friendly employees. My order took 15 min to get so I'm assuming they were short staffed. Besides that everything else was good. Its located between Dillards and Maggianos.

A nice place to have Italian food. They make really good pasta but the garlic bread can be made better. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.
A sandwich, salad, and soup joint. Nice selection of pastry items here, including yummy mini bundt cakes, brownies, and cookies.
Place is not clean. Employees are distracted and not slow and not friendly at all. Not recommended …
