Worst customer service, rude, unprofessional and the rule isn't clear! Almost like it feeling like I am being scammed. I've been book in other car rental in Thailand but never as worst like this place. I made a booking, paid in advance via Traveloka using credit card under wife's name. The day when I pick the car, they won't give the car because I need to show original physical passport of my wife despite I told them that I couldn't bring it because it still in visa extension process by immigration. They didn't accept physical copy, softcopy at all! I give them my passport as document. they reject it as well! I asked them to change booking under my name then. but now they reject the credit card deposit because the credit card ja under my wife's name. I try to be positive maybe it because I didn't come get the car with my wife so they afraid of fraud or something. now they asking my wife to come the get car along with me. Fine! Now after she did arrive despite need to travel 15 Km . they still reject to give the car! ..and no other deposit option. even no option for cash and debit card deposit.. what a fuss!Now they asking to show a proof letter from my agency that my wife's passport still in process..I call agency and let them speak, now chic staff change their mind again that kind of letter still insufficient and need original one! Finally I ask for refund, the staff ask me to call Traveloka & Chic center call center on my own. They even refuse to helping me explain the situation to Chic call center. All the staff were rude, raising their voice whenever I try to argue. Let me tell you, just about the day before I booked in other car rental (Hertz in Kronos Building just about 5 km from this place) and the process was smooth despite I didn't bring my wife original passport, copy scan of the passport was accepted in Hertz. You know what staff response when I told the staff that Hertz booking wasn't this dificult. She said: "Ahh that because Hertz is more expensive, here is cheaper". the fact is when I booked Chic is more expensive! The staff make a face like I was a fraudster or poor man. AVOID THE PLACE, THER ARE MANY BETTER CAR RENTAL OPTION . I'll give this place less than 1 star if there option to do that.

Rented a Toyota HRV for 24 hours, pick up from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and drop off at Bangkok City centre branch in Sathorn. Instead of the compact 5 seater, we received a full-sized SUV (Nissan X-trail). As anyone with common sense can imagine this would be fine in any other city, but not in the Bangkok traffic. Because of this we ended up returning our car only after less than half a day and scrapping our travel plans, because it was unbearable for a non-local to drive a huge SUV in Bangkok. The staff at the Bangkok center branch were not accommodating to our situation and left a bad taste. We did not receive any refund, although we have been in touch with the Chic Car Rent customer service. Bear in mind that their standard procedure is to make a 10000thb deposit on your credit card. I also did not receive any receipt of dropping off the car? Had I only read these other reviews before, I would have definitely looked at other options.

We took the car from Chiang Mai and returned it from Don Mueang. When we returned the car, we were unfair. Rented a car from Chiang Mai We arrived at the hostel and opened the trunk, but the trunk handle droped The handle is not broken. I thought this was already broken. We just opened the trunk. We thought lightly. When return your car after a pleasant journey We heard an absurd story. It's going to cost 5000 THB for car repair. We continued to protest, and we were forced to leave because of the flight time. Look at this and think about it. One screw is broken, is this worth 5000 THB? We think this will be very little repair cost or do service. We thought this will be very little repair cost or do service. even, you had a much higher oil price, but it did not matter. (If you look at the gauge, you get half of it, but you get 2/8 tell me and we 1500 THB paied.)

Rented a Honda HRV 1.8L for 6 days at the main office in Bangkok. I got both Platinum insurance and tire/windshield protection. Customer service is average, but rates are competitive compared to international operators. Made the booking a few weeks back and paid online. At the time of collection the vehicle was washed and the interior was clean. Though I had full insurance cover, I still did video the entire vehicle, pointing at existing scratches and dents. I did video the interior for damages, and stains so they don't dispute it later. The vehicle appeared to be well maintained and did well on gas (15.5kms per liter). The return process was quite fast. took less than 5 mins and they released the deposit hold on the credit card after 2 weeks. Would definitely come back again.

Chic is a local company runs by Honda Dealer; therefore, most of the cars brand Honda. I got a promotion from FB live which was incredibly cheap and unbeatable price. The service of Chic is not that professional compared with international rental company. Anyway, it is quite mediocre — neither good nor bad. Car conditions are above the par. I got Honda Accord 1.5 turbo which was the model I yearned for. The car is less than a year old with 3x,xxx on the clock. Basically, the maximum age of cars in Chic fleet is 3-4 years. I surely use Chic again as long as they keep delivering reasonably prices as well as attractive fleet.

Please don’t use their services . This is the utmost worst experience I have had. I rented a car and returned it intact My security deposit was charged via credit card. Upon returning the car, The staff lady at counter says - she will raise the request to unblock the amount to bank later and I will get the amount unblocked in “2-4 weeks” When I asked her this is not practical, she started shouting at me (I am attaching the photo of the lady; her name is Rung) When I called on call center, they said they can’t do anything If you don’t want to spoil your holiday experience, DO NOT take their service

No fuss! Great service. I have rented many cars all over the world, by far this company gave me the least headache. Just top up to full insurance. Before setting off, take a video and take pictures of the car to check for damages. Used it for three days, 700km. No problem at all. Return was quick and easy. Handed over the keys and after signing off, I was done in 5 minutes. Only problem was the queue when I was returning, locals were renting too. That’s a good sign actually. If locals shun it, there is a red flag.

It is the worst Car rental company to work with. They don't return your calls and they don't understand consumer engagement. A fresh person is always engaging. after 18 months of usage. You can always return the car if you don't want it as a solution to your problem. I will never suggest this Car rental company to anyone and will warn everyone to beware of their poor customer service. Extremely time-wasting and frustrating. There were several other Car rentals that were significantly more competent than them.

I have been using the car rental service from Chic Car Rent since 2019. Their services have been great as always. They provide decent cars with great prices. I have used their accident support and it has been great. They try to help as much as possible. They take care of the insurance company, road side assistance, and also provide the alternative car based on availability and location. I would highly recommend and use their services again on my next trip.

The worse experience in a rent a car. Never rent in this company, they are a mafia. I felt really bad when i rent a car in Chiang rai, I return in chiang mai and they dont want to return tome the deposit ( 5000thB). I dont had any problem with the car, any crash, but they told me there is a scrash in the car. Worse company in rent a car, I recomend to rent in a international company as Avis, Hertz or other but NOT a thailand company like this.

Bad company wirh extremely bad service - we rented a Toyota Fortuner - they gave is an old car! Second last day the car had a batterie problem - they asekd us to go to the garage! No service at all - at the garage they refused to confirmt that the batterie can be replaced! We lost one day of holidays and missed an important meeting. Never again with chic Car Rent!

Tire SCAM. Funny thing is as soon as parked the car, the agent went directly to the tire that has the "damages". It's so small that you CANNOT see from 5 feet way. See picture below. Came back with 3 or 4 smallest scratches on the tire and they force you to pay for full tire replacement. I've never looked at tires on any rental car, but I will now.

Fuss free and very responsive via email. Secured my booking weeks prior and everything was smooth and easy during collection day. Car came with a full tank of petrol and was in very good and clean condition. Returning after-hours was an easy process too, they have a box where you can just drop the keys in. Will definitely come back again.

Awful customer service. The two people serving us kept changing the goalposts with which documents were required and kept contradicting themselves, proving that they were just making it up as they went along and lying. Probably because they didn't have enough cars to rent out. Save yourself time and stress by going elsewhere.

Never rent a car from this company they told us we will get our car in 10min and we waited for an hour. When we went back to the counter to cancel the booking and they just started to look for the driver that supposed to deliver the car to us . Best part is they still hold my deposit of 5k bath till next month

Reserved a car though their website three days before a family trip. They sent me an email the day before saying the car wasn't available and that they only had a car that was literally two times the price of my original booking. What a way to ruin some holidays. Why do you have a website then?

Two problems: They insist on a credit card, so if you don't have one in your name, no car, regardless of your expectations (they won't try a debit card). Second problem: Both times we've been, we've had fraudulent attempts on our credit cards afterwards. Definitely not recommended.

Be aware for scam. Full insurance does not cover 'tyres' and surprise surprise you come back and they find a nail in the most obvious spot. Make sure you check your tyres very wel before leaving, walk with the inspections on return or better, don't rent there with their tricks.

Fast, efficient, and helpful service. Staff met us at the airport and were quick to get the car ready. The condition of the car was clean and T&Cs clearly explained. This the second time I have used Chic Car Rental and would use them again.

No fuss when picking up the car. It was easy to communicate with them since they spoke English. The car was ready to go immediately and they also documented all of the minor damage on the car. We were allowed to take our own photos.
