I went to this branch on August 2nd to open a college checking account. I brought every necessary documents and as for my address verification, I got it verified and printed out by the university because I live in graduate housing. The staff named Samantha said that my address verification doesn't work and kept telling me to apply for a Louisiana state ID at ABC Title, which I believe is completely absurd and a waste of time. That day, I ended up opening an account at a different bank. On August 13th, I went to another Chase branch to open an account (with the same documents) and got my college checking account and savings account opened within 45 minutes. If you're going to open an account at Chase, go to another Chase branch because Samantha here clearly doesn't know what she's doing.

Clearly in violation of REQUIRED social distancing. Customer service here has always been horrible, but flaunting the mandates of safety crosses the line. In spite of a counter half a block long, Chase continues to operate tellers four feet apart on one end of the massive counter. Upon inquiry it was clear that it would be inconvenient to comply, so Chase has self exempted themselves from MANDATED social distancing. Every other business I have visited in person is in compliance, regardless of convenience. Apparently Chase considers themselves above the law and has no concern about the safety of their customers or community. Shameful. Maybe it's time for the City to step in (anyone awake over there?)

Good luck trying to get anything done here. Made an appointment, got canceled a few minutes before while I was already there. Went back the next day, the banker told me they would circle back with me on a number of issues. I spent two more months calling, emailing and stopping by the branch, and never heard back. They're not interested in your business if they messed up (which is exactly what happened). Avoid Shweta Verma if you're looking for accountability and responsiveness.

This location is soooooo slow. It’s fine if you need to use the ATM but if you need to see a banker. Please expect a 45min wait not to mention conducting your business, another 45min. I try to come on my lunch breaks. It’s never a fast errand. The bankers have no sense of urgency and often times, because there not a lot of seating in the lobby, you’ll see a guest walk into one of the cubicles to tell a banker that there’s a line of people waiting. Ridiculous

My daughters and I went to this branch today to open a college checking account because my oldest daughter will be attending school in New Orleans. Samantha took care of us and gave the best experience I could have asked for. She was patient and kind and she answered all of our questions fully and professionally. Samantha made me feel better as a mom sending her first born away to college in a whole new environment. Thank you Samantha for being so awesome!

Wow! What an amazing experience we had at this branch last week. Samantha Croon was outstanding! We were trying to get a transfer done spur of the moment and Samantha scooped us up off the waiting area with such grace and kindness. We were so blown away. She got the transfer done quickly and spent the rest of the time giving us recommendations and her local perspective on things to do in the area. She was a breath of fresh air, a real gem!!

I would like to give a special thank you to Morgan I came into the branch location while on vacation for Mardi Gras. She took her time and patience to make sure my digital wallet issue was taken care of. I really appreciate her dedication to her job and being considered with my time while in branch. I would like to call her manager personally but I saw the location is closed today, I will try on Monday.

i went into this branch to freeze my account because i had lost my wallet and the manager was so condescending, privileged, typical karen, instead of helping me she ordered her employees to CLOSE my account! it’s ok because chase is the mcdonald’s of banks. they don’t care about customers! i’ll definitely be writing to corporate! 12 years with chase and this is how they treat me?

Like every other big bank out there. No real customer service. Bill pay is average, prefer Bank of America bill pay (but they are just another big bank too). Like most of us, I bank here mainly because it is convenient to where I live.

This bank is the least friendly and least service-oriented bank I have ever worked with. Try reaching someone by phone, or go in person....the experience is equally frustrating. I'd rather have paper cuts than work with them.

If you respect your time do yourself a favor and call beforehand to make an appointment! They provide great customer service, but they are busy so if you don't desire a wait time make sure you call in advance.

Quite literally the worst service I have ever received. People at the DMV have more patience and customer service than this particular location. I'd rather drive across town to use the location on broad St.

Too difficult to find "non-meter" parking here. So you'll be forced to pay to park. I would advise to just do your Chase bank transactions elsewhere.
