Moving to Adelaide in late 2009 I needed to find myself a good mechanic who I could trust not to rip me off (I am a typical female who knows nothing about cars). I was told by a mature male colleague at work to choose a busy/small mechanic who doesn't have much space to store cars... therefore they will not make up unnecessary jobs to do on your car because their business will already be at capacity. I asked my colleague if he could recommend somewhere that matched his description and he told me about Cardwell St Auto Repairs. I have been taking my car (now have a new car) to Cardwell St Auto Repairs ever since. They always charge the $ with in their estimated quoted $ range and clearly do not have time or space to make up additional work. If they think something needs to be done they will let you know so that you can budget for it in your next service... so if you take your car in at least once a year there should not be any surprises! The only time my car was not done on the day I had booked was becasue one of the mechanics had twins... they called to ask if it was ok to keep my car until the following day (if not they would keep somebody back on overtime) and I told them it wouldn't be a problem as I could bus to work. They really are family men and would treat you like they would want their daughters and wives to be treated by mechanics.

Every time I take my car for a service I mean to leave a review. The car is due again and this time I will get in prior. (I have never reviewed any business prior to this however this is one company which deserves it.) I have no hesitation in recommending Paul, John and the team for their honesty, helpful advice and family values which are becoming a rarer commodity these days. Their openness with works requiring immediate attention and those which are recommendations are valued. This honesty has built a strong foundation of trust. These guys are far to busy to be drumming up extra non necessary work at the risk of their reputations. On behalf of Emma and myself you are a credit to yourselves, your business and your families. Really an amazing handyman! My side mirror was broken when I was reversing last dark night. The back cover of the side mirror was slipped(Toyota Corolla 2018 hatch), but the indicator is still working. I asked another two car repair stores and they told me I need a new mirror, which is around $500. I came around this store, the man helped me fix it in less than 5 minutes and charged me at a really low price(It’s like a jigsaw to fix it). I really appreciate it.

Extremely trusted mechanics. My family and friends have been using them for years. Now I have my own car I've been taking it here and cannot be happier. Had minor fixes such as power steering fluid top up and hose tightening done for free. All quotes are final prices, fair and quick service. Make sure to ring a few days in advanced to get a time perfect for you. These guys are busy for a reason, they're the best.

Just bought a new Ford Festiva, and took it in for its first service. Paul and John helped me out and explained everything that needed to be fixed, cleaned out and replaced. Full Service was $140 and they said it would be $120-$150, so very happy. Good parts and good service.... Check them out!
