I am SO disappointed and SO upset. I am a returning customer at Buckhead Blooms. The last time I made a fairly large order and there were no issues. So when it came time to order flowers for my father’s funeral, of course, I went to BB. I had a very specific request for white rose boutonnieres. I placed the order with Javier and moved on to other details of my father’s funeral. However, when I arrived to pick up the order, I was presented with a box of CARNATION boutonnieres. When I advised him that I had ordered roses, his response was “the roses were more expensive.” I beg your pardon! On further discussion with the woman who proclaimed herself to be the “acting manager” Bernadette, her first response was also to try to explain to me about the price of the roses. I had to interrupt her and let her know that the price was not the issue here. The issue was that they had not produced what I specifically requested. She proceeded to outline to me the pros and cons of roses versus carnations (including the fact that roses were for proms), all of which I appreciated, not being a “flower expert” as she said of Javier. However, as I told her, none of that was part of the conversation I had with Javier on placing my order. Had that conversation taken place, I would have had the opportunity to make the decision as to which flower I wanted. Instead, their biases led them to believe that I somehow couldn’t afford what I was requesting??? And therefore, I should have carnations??? Mind you, this order was a good deal larger than the initial order I placed, and an additional charge for roses was immaterial, given that it was my father’s funeral and white roses were what my family had decided on. Of note, just to be sure I wasn’t completely insane, I looked back through my email to discover that I had never been forwarded an invoice, so any opportunity to correct this before the work was done was nonexistent. And after I picked up my order, I received a receipt that just stated, “item” quantity 60….Sigh… It is so disappointing that Bernadette decided to debate me instead of trying to solve what apparently was a miscommunication. The carnation boutonnieres are nice and well made, but they are NOT WHAT I REQUESTED. After a quick search, it appears that the unprofessionalism displayed in this case is not an isolated incident. I think the owner Patricia should delay the trip back to her home country this summer and instead opt to give her staff a refresher course on customer service and conflict resolution. Supposedly, the owner is to be notified about this issue, but that remains to be seen, considering the conduct outlined above. In any case, I will be taking my future business elsewhere, where it is appreciated and where I am treated like a valuable customer.

Looking for an eye-catching, special thank you gift after returning home to San Francisco, I telephone ordered a Phalaenopsis orchid "arrangement" from Buckhead Blooms for $125, plus delivery and tax. I certainly expected something special for that price, but when the recipient texted me a photo of the orchid gift he received, I was stunned to see what they had sent---an unimpressive, single stem orchid in a generic, square glass container (costing $7.50) with some black river rock stones--hardly an "arrangement" as what was represented. To be sure that my prior expectations had not been unreasonable, I did my own little research. I found that a similar (but larger) single stem orchid in a white pottery vase at a nearby Trader Joe's grocery market was priced at $12.99! And that was the retail cost. . . The wholesale cost that a florist would pay is even less. But in order to compare "apples with apples," I also checked out a very high-end nearby florist. They only carried two stem Phalaenopsis orchid in a similar glass container with identical stones which was priced at $52. By comparison, Buckhead Blooms was charging $175 for an identical, two stem orchid "arrangement." That's $175 vs $52-- a 350% difference! I felt like I had been gouged. I then called Buckhead Blooms to express my dissatisfaction , and was only offered a $25 refund! ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE! So, BUYER BEWARE when flower shopping at Buckhead Booms.

Ordered two separate and specific arrangements and asked for no purple. Came in to retrieve them. They both had purple and were both exactly the same. I kindly and respectfully brought it to their attention with nothing but smiles. Everyone was kind and sweet and apologetic. When they were asking me what to change, I suggested they add more gerberas and before I could finish my thought the designer comes out and gives me a rude face and tells me "we're not adding any more of anything, we worked with your budget." I replied nicely and said "okay not a problem, it was just a suggestion!" Then she said "you need to give us a minute and go wait in your car." I asked her why she has an attitude and told her I'll wait where I see fit. The manager then tells me that the designer was not rude at all and I cannot speak to their designer that way. Then she also tells me to wait in my car. I had been nothing but kind and understanding when it was THEIR mistake. To be treated like that when they were in the wrong and I had been only understanding and kind is extremely frustrating. I am an event planner and exclusively order my arrangements from BB and tell EVERYONE about them. Not sure if that will continue.

MOST PATHETIC FLORAL ARRANGEMENT I HAVE SEEN!!! Most embarrassing moment of my life!!! I called and asked for 2 dozen red roses (supplemented with large-leafed greens) to be delivered to a friend who is in the hospital. I did not order something off your site. I called with a very specific request which did NOT include scrawny eucalyptus and small cheap pink flowers randomly stuffed in this so-called 'arrangement.' When I called to voice my dismay, the only 'remedy' offered was that you could go PICK THEM UP from the recipient's hospital room and refund the $280?! The fact that you are not embarrassed as a "professional" florist is perhaps the most troubling thing of all. And then you implied that 'this is what you get' when you call "last minute"?!! Seriously?! I called at 10:30am for a same-day local delivery of the most basic flower in the plant kingdom. The implication that 'last minute' orders will look like a dumpster fire is shocking. This is nothing but absolute highway robbery disguised as a fraudulent flower shop. I paid $280 for this floral arrangement and delivery ($25). Think about that! Almost $300 for what I could have muddled together from Kroger with a blindfold on.

Called to order something artsy, with contrasting colors that I could actually smell. I feel like flowers don't smell like flowers anymore. Tyson was super helpful and the staff was amazing. I ordered in the am and picked up the same day. They have orchids that are beautiful. Gorgeous preserved roses, which can live for 2 years. And tons of other arrangement options. I ordered these to celebrate myself today...just because. I even gave myself a card. Flowers shouldn't be reserved only for a special occasion, they should be for celebrating you, your life, or just because. Will definitely use again when I want to honor myself and make my environment even more beautiful. I pass them everyday and only wish I had stopped in sooner. This place is a gem! You won't be disappointed.

I live really close to place and found them by chance. My wife had a bad day at work and I wanted to get her some flowers to surprise her and let her know that I love her and to not worry about the bad day. The team here pulled something together for me quickly that was beautiful, heartwarming and really captured what I wanted to say to my wife. The team is amazing. This is hands down the only flower shop I will go to now. Plus they are a local business and I love supporting local businesses. Thank you Buckhead Blooms! Buckhead blooms stayed in close contact with me to fulfill my request for a container change based on the photo on their website . They even sent me a photo once the arrangement was complete. It was breathtaking. They were very kind and efficient and were even able to accommodate an outside of delivery area for a dear friend’s father‘s memorial. They were extremely professional, and when the arrangement was received my friend was blown away. She said it was bigger than she was, and she absolutely loved it. It was dramatic and made a significant impression and meant a lot to her. I cannot recommend this business more highly. I would use them again, and again in the future thank you so much!.

I was in desperate need of having a birthday orchid delivered to a friend of mine on very short notice. I do not live in Atlanta and called 12 florists in order from a list I pulled off of the internet. I was told 'no delivery today' repeatedly until I reached Buckhead Blooms! Has to be the nicest flower shop in the world!!! They were so sweet! They're driver had just left with the last orders for the day, but graciously turned around and went back to the shop to pick up and deliver my order! I cannot thank y'all enough for the phenomenal customer service and kindness you showed a new customer! Orchid has already been delivered and my friend said it is gorgeous! Thank you again!!!

Visited Buckhead Blooms to buy some hydrangeas and a floral arrangement for a dinner I was having. David, the general manager, took the time to understand what I wanted. He then created a beautiful arrangement. I actually got more flowers than I would have thought for the price I paid. He even explained a lot about the flowers that he was using as well as giving me tips on caring for them. It's been three days since my dinner and both arrangements still look fantastic. This is the place to go for flowers and arrangements! I'm now a customer for life. :)

Buckhead Blooms, After calling 5 different florist shops inside ATL and being told that they could not fill my delivery order, due to it being after their delivery order hours. I would like to say thank you “BUCKHEAD BLOOMS” for taking my last minute rush order of flowers call all the way from overseas and delivering them outside of your normal delivery hours. My co-workers and I decided to purchase flowers for our supervisor because her brother passed away. I work in Buckhead and I was grateful that this store was only five minutes away. The designer took my order over the phone and it was ready in time for me to pick them up at 9:30am. When I walked through the door, I blown away at the arrangement. I ordered the White Willow and it was stunning! My manager absolutely loved them and everyone at the office also agreed. Thank you so much. I will definitely be coming back.

I ordered the Sweet Surprise bouquet for a friend who is recovering from surgery. The flowers that arrived for my friend look nothing like what was advertised. When she showed me a picture of her bouquet, it made me wish I had Venmo’d her the money instead. There was nothing sweet about this surprise. Update (4/19/21): After leaving a seemingly positive reply to my review, the shop basically told me there was nothing they could do. I’ll take the L but I definitely won’t recommend or use them again.

What a lovely experience working with this florist. As a former flower shop owner and designer, I am massively picky about greens, flower choice and container choice. Your basic nightmare customer LOL, however, Randall and Lisa were stars! Patient with my order and flower choices and delivered a beautiful sympathy arrangement for a funeral that I could not attend but wanted so much to be there. Lovely shop, lovely staff and a beautiful arrangement. Will be my Atlanta go to florists in the future!

I wish I'd discovered this Buckhead gem sooner! After passing their place a few times, I decided to park and walk inside. I now know that they do most of their business over the phone/online.. but their shop is absolutely stunning and the staff were so welcoming and kind. Their flowers were fresh, crisp, and lovely as they made the arrangements for a delivery order. We spoke and they helped me design the perfect gift. I enjoyed them so much I had to post a review! Paid quite a lot for a bouquet which I had asked to be "white, pink, orange with some green" and received mostly green. It looked like a bush vs a bouquet of flowers for a special day. They said they "didn't have many of the colors I had asked for in stock so they had to use more green" which would have been nice to know prior to picking it up so I could have had a chance to improve the bouquet with color. Refused to issue even a partial refund.

I called at the last minute for three arrangements for the wonderful ladies in my office at christmas. I told Ms. Lisa how much I could affored to spend and within hours they delivered the most unique arrangements for me. The ladies loved them and they lived until well after the new year. We’ve consistently had nothing but outstanding experiences with Buckhead Blooms. Most recently, I ordered flowers (a “designer’s choice” arrangement) for my wife to be delivered last while I was away on business. She was absolutely over the moon when she received what she described as “the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen”. You simply can’t go wrong here.

Patricia was very nice and to the point. I was desperate because my mom missed her flowers another shop delivered for Valentines Day. Same day delivery on holiday weekend when order placed after 1pm is limited even for Buckhead. The earlier flower order somehow didn’t make it to my mom’s place so Buckhead Blooms came through with flying colors!!

I called Buckhead Blooms on the phone this morning for a same-day flower delivery in ATL and the flowers were delivered just 3 hours later!!! The woman I spoke to (didn't catch her name) was lovely and I haven't had a chance to see the bouquet yet but I trust that it's gorg and I'd give this experience an A+!!
