Where should I begin! Upon entering Ms Jennifer greeted us, my mother, my aunt and I with extreme professionalism and respect. I shared we wanted to see the bedroom sets. She verbally directed us upstairs. And gave us space as we took the escalators. She stood near by still giving us space to browse. We then asked her for some details about sizes and styles and she then gave u more attention as we asked her questions. It was so nice not to feel pressured and to get her full attention when we needed it as we asked. She was wonderfully equipped with all the information we needed from the bedroom set styles and colors to the sizes of both sets and mattresses. When we asked if it was possible to switch a mattress on a bed one frame to a different one for my elderly mom of a lovely 80 years of age, with much empathy she headed to her manager Ms Sharlene for guidance. Ms. Sharlene then arrived asked us what we needed and had no hesitation to jump in along with Ms. Jennifer; all hands-on-deck to remove the mattress and replace it with the mattress my mom wanted to try. My mom is 4ft 7in tall and struggles to get on and get out of bed and she prefers traditional mattresses not motion ones, therefore she truly needs to physically try the bed frame with the mattress she wanted to purchase. I have never seen anyone in a furniture store in sales and management show the compassion and understanding towards their customer needs as we experienced here. That was honestly a true demonstration of integrity in which Bob’s Furniture holds. Thank you Jeniffer, Sharlene, and Bob’s for such a wonderful experience. If I could give them a 0, I would. I went on the online store to try and purchase my items, my orders went through and my account was charged. The date of delivery comes, and I never receive my items. I was so confused. I was then told I needed to go into the store to verify my identity. Upon going in and trying to push through my order again, we come to the realisation that none of the items were available. The rug I ordered was discontinued, the couch was unavailable for another six (6) months. Even though my order went through. I then went ahead and and got a new couch and rug, though these were now out of my budget. I however needed something since I had cleared my couch for the arrival of the new couch. I went ahead and asked their corporate office if I could be given a compensation since the first occurrence, to which they said no because it wasn’t their fault and they gave me my money back. I didn’t fuss, I just went through with my purchase. After making my second order with the company, the delivery date came and went with nothing. This continued on for nearly 4 weeks, my order kept getting blocked and when I asked about what was happening, no one could answer me. I was couch-less and sleeping on the floor. I have bad hip pain, which was aggravated by this. For nearly 4 weeks. They then finally delivered my couch and gave me a compensation of $150, on my 1,500+ bill. It felt like a slap in the face. Too many times in dealing with things was “there’s nothing I can do” put out. Too long and big of an inconvenience, with poor communication. Bob’s sucks.

Anthony was very helpful in assisting us wit picking wat was right for us This is and updated on my 2019 review that I made It’s now 2022 and my bed that I bought broke. When making my purchase Anthony suggested that I should get BOB’S goof proof policy that they provide it cost just an extra couple dollars but it’s protection now in 2021 I sat on my bed and the support beam broke I instantly filed a claim with Guardian insurance only to be told that it has to be an accident for it to be coved under there policy So I contacted bob they said I should refile my claim also adding my kids were jumping on the bed So I do only to be told that my claim was again denied because it didn’t meet their requirements for being called an accident So now I have a broken bed with a WORTHLESS insurance package that I was dooped into buying just so they could get an extra couple hundred dollars All in all I’m very unhappy with my purchase I followed all the necessary step that you mentioned within a few hours of the accident and went through the entire process and was told that the cause of the damage (sitting on the bed) is wat the bed is made for so it not an accident your insurance scheme with guardian insurance is a scam and your just looking for extra ways to get extra money I attached a copy and guardian’s reply nothing that you replied wit does Anything to state y my broken bed isn’t covered if there is a ACTIVE “INSURANCE POLICY if said policy isn’t a BIG FAT SCAM

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They literally tried to scam me by lying to me about my actual purchase and over charging my card. When I ask to speak with the store manager, they lied and said this store didn’t have a store manager and that “they” were the store manager. I was so disgusted and felt insulted that I said, cancel everything and returned it to my card. They said my funds would return in a check (mind you I paid them w/ my card). They also said it would take two weeks for their store to have my check. It’s been well over two weeks and no one cannot tell me where my money is. Every time I call them, the story changes from the check coming to their store to now my home. I contacted their corporate & sent emails. Just a horrible all round experience. Take your money and go somewhere else where you can TRUST the person. I ended up going to BOBS in Yonkers, NY and had a great AMAZING honesty experience.

I contacted Bob's Co-Op City for a service request. First, I was told I needed to go in person to pay for the service because they could not take payments over the phone. They scheduled the appointment without asking me if I was available. Also, never provided a phone number where to call. The date of service the technician arrived 15 minutes early. He said he could not wait for me but had no problem returning if the company approved. I called the company, the customer representative said not to worry that if the technician did not return, he would send another technician at 9:15 am I waited and noone showed up. Once again, I call customer service at 10:22 am and was told the technician did not want to return because he had finished his route for the day. My jaw dropped to the floor. He finished for the day? And it was only 10:20 in the morning! This is the WORST SERVICE I have ever received.

I engaged in a business transaction with a gentleman named Kareem. Throughout the process, Kareem worked diligently, showing me all my options without resorting to high-pressure sales tactics. He was incredibly accommodating and patient, to the point where I did something I rarely do: I decided to purchase furniture from Bob's Discount without visiting other showrooms for comparison shopping. Kareem assisted me in finding the furniture I needed, aligned with my budget, and he did so with patience and enthusiasm. I wasn't easily convinced that what he showed me was what I wanted. However, due to his excellent sales skills and the finalizing of the deal with his supervisor, Sharleen, I couldn't resist. The showroom's complimentary coffee, treats, and even ice cream were a nice touch in my opinion. I left the store feeling satisfied and confident that I had made a good deal.

I wouldn’t suggest bobs furniture to anyone unless your on a very tight budget. I only went here first because I have a line of credit with this company. My first experience wasn’t bad. The second time around was horrible. I picked out 5k worth of furniture. I worked with Karen who was pleasant. When it came to the deliver processor was a nightmare. I waited two weeks to get the furniture. This company wants you to spend with them and worth with the schedule they have rather than yours. I explained my work schedule after the first time slot they gave me. If it wasn’t able to be accommodated it was ok, I can cancel my order. It turned into a nightmare from that point on. I have at least 20 text messages and received about 4 calls a day through this process. No one reads the notes at all. They tried to deliver the furniture twice when I wasn’t home. The

My gf and I recently entered this location at bay plaza. We were instantly greeted by tony, who was so interested in our dog lol. He instantly asked us questions besides the sales pitch! He actually cared about our day. Then he showed us the elevator because we had a stroller with our dog in it. He immediately showed us options based on the search we explained to him!! He showed us two sales floor items that were unbeatable prices, but eventually we went with a loveseat for our studio. He was VERY knowledgeable and not pushy to buy anything. The manager “lorreta”was extremely kind and caring as well. Thank you again for your great service! Continue to not be pushy, JUST HONEST lol!

Walked into Bob’s in Bay Plaza and first of all was greeted warmly. An associate (Mayra) came up to me right away and asked if she could help me. Upon my explaining exactly what I was looking for, she lead me directly to the furniture I was looking for. Needless to say I was thrilled as I wasn’t having any luck looking elsewhere. I got just what I was looking for at a very reasonable price and a very quick delivery date. I should’ve looked at Bob’s first and saved myself time and aggravation.

My son brought a bedroom set, dining room set and livingroom furniture. All reasonably priced and good quality. Ask for the sales person Mustafa. He new his merchandise. I'm so dessapointed with my purchase, I had bought a bed for my daughter is defective and they don't want to exchange it for me after I expend $ 1.000. Even thought I told them my daughter she fold from the bed and hurt herself, the drowers can't be open they are not straight,this bed is a nightmare and is been just couple of months since I bought it and they don't want to exchange it so I will never come here again.

Initially, it took 10 minutes before anyone asked me if I needed assistance. I was on the first floor looking for mattresses, sitting on them and checking around. Sales staff were downstairs as well. I was about to leave, but wanted to know if there was more mattresses upstairs. I ended up with a nice saleswoman. Suggestion be more mindful of incoming customers. Almost lost a sale. Thank you.

My order was delayed on three different occasions. My couch was delivered with a hole in the back. I took off work to get the replacement couch and when the truck arrived they informed me that the couch was broke on the truck. Save your time and pain. Shop somewhere else. This is ridiculous. Awesome furniture! Tony P in Co-op City is the bomb! So affordable and financing is the best. I was so surprised at how reasonable and affordable the furniture and financing is.
