"Bought a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes through a sales associate and they were to be shipped to my house"
"My wife and I purchased 18 place settings of China in the valley fair store"
Yikes. Strong recommend to pass on this one. I brought in a return with a receipt for a pants I'd bought less than a month before. It's from the aqua brand, and it was the last pair, but the tag had ripped off when I was trying it on. I didn't expect to return them since they were for my wedding rehearsal, so I didn't really mind that much. But then, my wedding was cancelled to due to Omicron. It'll be rescheduled at some point, but I needed to recoup as much funds as possible and since I was going from a winter wedding to (probably) a spring one, I decided to return the pants. I brought the receipt and pants for a return. I explained it didn't come with a tag-- huge mistake. Should have clarified it came off. Anyway, the manager Marisa literally started yelling at me in the middle of the store. Like, not exaggerating, actually yelling. It was so awkward. She accused me of wearing them-- which I'm sure happens, but did not in the case, as it was special event clothing. Also, she didn't even look at them, hold them, or inspect them-- she just yelled it in the middle of the store which was embarrassing for both of us. I tried to deescalate the situation asking her to show me on the receipt where it said items could not be returned without a tag. She started yelling again that she was the manager and it was her call. At that point, I was tired of dealing with a Karen so I decided to take the hit and bail. Attached a picture of the receipt, which says, "you have 90 days to return chia merchandise is saleable condition" -- NOT "Marisa, floor manager of the Westfield Valley Fair Bloomingdale's, can decline a return without inspection while yelling." Honestly, I love Bloomingdale's and will continue to shop there, but probably not at this one.
I was looking for an evening gown for a wedding this weekend. I went to several other stores at Valley Faire but no one helped me. I went into Bloomingdales and right away they wanted to be of assistance. I can’t rave enough about Hannah, who went to several different departments in the store to find the perfect dress. It was clear that the one I liked would need alterations. The alteration lady came up right away and pinned the dress I was considering. Still, she picked up my not being totally comfortable in the dress and was never pushy. I ended up only buying an undergarment, but Hannah still walked with me to the cashier and sold it to me. Service like this is very rare. I only wish that the dress would have worked out. I’ll definitely be back to buy other clothing when I’m not pressed for time. Again, kudos to Hannah whip was is not only an excellent salesperson but also a really nice person.
I'd like to start with the fact that I LOVE Bloomingdale's. I especially like the layout of this brand new one. We had a great time shopping here. Something about a new store, so pristine with collections to die for. Now, why in the world would you not train your employees before opening the store?!? I understand everyone is learning on the job but the experience of shopping designer products was hindered by extremely untrained staff. It took us 45 minutes just to check out, there was no lineup.. The girl at the cash register had little to no idea how to work it . After many mistakes and absurd commentary about our purchases etc. We left the store confused and with lots of buyer's remorse. We ended up buying our items but moving forward I might just stick to exploring .
Bought a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes through a sales associate and they were to be shipped to my house. I waited for weeks and received nothing. I called they said they sent them and that it had arrived, never got anything. They said that I had to usps my self and figure it out. I called usps and they say they aren’t the ones who are responsible, that bloomindales should be the one to talk to us about the package, or send us new shoes, or our money back since I didn’t get anything. So now I don’t have shoes and lost about $600 !!! Horrible !!! P.S You should have packages be signed for ! Not have usps send them and “mysteriously disappear” I had never had this problem before with any other company.
My wife and I purchased 18 place settings of China in the valley fair store. Most of the items were shipped, but many were also back ordered. It has been a nightmare dealing with customer service ever since. I was told the items were not coming, then that they were being shipped, and then again that they were not coming after they didn’t arrive. They can never find order numbers and repeatedly have screwed up refund requests. This has required multiple calls, and with each call they still can’t seem to find the orders or give me a straight regarding refunds. This has been very frustrating. I will do my best to avoid Bloomingdale’s in the future. Incredibly awful customer service.
Came to this location a few months ago to purchase a gift. Staff weren’t very knowledgeable and friendly. I applied for their card and did not have a DL on me at the time of application. I did have a US federal issued ID on me but it was automatically assumed that I wasn’t a US citizen. Their staff didn’t even care to look at my ID as they should throughly and proceeded to ask if I was an alien. It also seems like they judge based on appearance upon entry. Suggest to frequent another Bloomingdales location as a lot of the staff seemed to be just standing around. Didn’t genuinely care about helping out customers.
Well to start, I call it Bloomies. Yeah we're that tight. Perfect 5/7 rating for being a pantheon of crass consumerism and solidifying your place in future dystopian lore. What a monument. Well stocked, smiling employees, shiny surfaces and no bad smells. Next time I am at the mall complex for my eye exam, I may venture inside...to the core. I'm not sure what's in there, but it has to be spectacular, given it's prime real estate location, ample parking and constant flow of well to do consumers. Thanks for letting me explore my imagination, Bloomies!
I didn't buy anything during my last stop at Valley Fair Bloomingdale but the store was very pleasant to visit in that it was clean ,neat, well stocked with great staff attention. Amazon and other online retailers have doomed these elegant stores to less and less foot traffic going forward due to people not wanting to interact in such close confines as well as experiencing better price points and dollar value for the consumer. But walking through the store made me think about better days of yore.
This review is only for the perfume department. I am very disappointed at the service I got recently. (No service). I was asked to bring the list of notes from an older perfume that I liked to find a match. The same lady on my second visit asked me to go google it and smell the perfumes on the floor. Basically 2 wasted trips to that store for no help at all. Why ask me to bring the list the first time then? The rest of the experiences in luxury boutiques in that store have been amazing. Always.
I purchased a Bottega Veneta bag online and was sent a fake. I then went to the San Francisco Bloomingdale’s to get an actual real bag, but they didn’t have any in stock and told me to drive an hour to Valley Fair. I called customer service to see if they could help me, and they sent me to Valley Fair as well. I drove for an hour and 50 miles down to Valley Fair, and they refused to give me a bag. Don’t trust Bloomingdale’s because there are fakes all over.
Would not recommend coming at all if you’re of color. We came to buy some heels, the young lady at the gucci/dior shoe department her name is Seona, She blankly ignored us seeing that we were looking at the shoes but once a Asian lady and her daughter walked in she right away greeted and offered them help. Seona acts as if she owns these brands as if she’s better then us. She is a horrible representative of these brands I adore, would not come back.
Wow, just wow! Finally had a chance to go check out the newest Bloomingdales at Valley Fair. Talk about impressive! Department after department of the finest clothing, apparel, accessories and so much more. Loved the City in a City idea with one large Bloomingdales but hundreds of individual stores inside, it was refreshing and a welcome change. Store associates were accommodating, positive, cheery, what's not to like here?
My fiancé and I came here to buy him a suit. Roberta helped us and she was extremely nice, personable, warm, and helpful. She gave us good advice about suits and told us about a deal where we can spend $1000 and get a $300 gift card. We didn’t feel pressured to buy things at all. We found her friendly demeanor to be very genuine. She remembered things about us during different visits and made us feel cared for.
If I could I would rather zero customer service to the woman’s size I want to shirt for my mom for Christmas and the lady didn’t help me her name is Isabel. I asked her if she can look up an item she just ignored me and helped another customer line and I asked her why did you ignore me she’s like I saw you go to another person so I helped another person for the reason I did so is because she just walked away.
I had the best experience with this store! They have very kind and wonderful CA's working there. I can't wait to go back and visit. If you go, I would ask to speak with Sally or Erma! Also, Bart Perry & Robinson Nguyen offer such excellent customer service. The employees here will truly give you a wonderful "LV buying" experience... Such class and impeccable customer service!
My husband got a jacket at Bloomingdale’s Moncler boutique in Santana row San Jose as a gift For BD. I did not really like the style so I went to the store to rerun it . And there is no return and only exchange or store credit . My husband was tricked and nobody told him about such interesting return policy. My BD is ruined and I stock with brand that ruined my BD
I went to the handbag section today and I was helped by Alexis who was not only thorough with her explanation of the pricings but also described her reasonings behind which brand of handbag she preferred. She was extremely helpful & courteous to my time, as I was in a rush, and had me out the door in less than 20 minutes with a beautiful handbag for my mother.
Dont ever trust them and sign up your email (or text message) for 15% off on your next purchase! That promotion code never works! I’ve tried for so many times but it kept saying “The item in your shopping bag don’t qualify for this promotion”! Felt like i’m fooled! And they got the worst customer service! Nordstrom is always the best choice for shopping!
BAIT AND SWITCH! They LIE about their offers here. Our first visit here, we went in to get a stroller and was offered a 20% discount if we signed up for a loyalty card with them. One credit rating hit later, we were told the discount doesn't actually apply and we can't cancel the credit card anymore. Lesson learned. Never going here again.
My mom and I were helped by a kind British gentleman named Mark. We were checking out the new store and fell in love with their selection, Moncler, Gucci and LV in Store. We ended up buying a couple of jackets from ALLSAINTS, which normally you’d have to drive to Palo Alto to buy. Amazing store, amazing staff!
It was very clean and organized. It wasn't crowded and that was a plus with COVID. The associate that helped us was extremely nice and playful and understanding with my toddler. We were looking for her very first pair of shoes and she went to the back multiple times to get them and did so with efficiency.
This place is for rich people big time you really have to stand tall and show them that you are just as good as they are and where decent clothes. You don't want to feel like a blooming idiot standing there, make yourself look like you're shopping there. Get it blooming idiot at Bloomingdale's LOL
My fiancé and I came to purchase shoes our upcoming wedding and we were really fortunate to get to work with Seonna. She was incredibly attentive and personable and just an overall delight to work with. I really hope management sees this because she was truly an exemplar of exceptional service.
While returning an item to Stevens Creek location was served by a weird rude woman who was dressed like a gnome in a funny fur hat. Left me puzzled and rather disgusted. The attitude and the look - Bloomingdale’s is saving on customer service training and salaries for their workers. So sad!
So I went here as I have never been in one I'm a tourist looking to buy my partner something nice. We found some birkenstocks we looked for staff to help us get some. Waited about 20 mins and left. Clearly the business doesn't need money if they don't have people around to help customers.
Impressive! Yet ; it Caters to the mid to high income in a neighborhood where average incomes are ,45% below 40 K, 35% under 100K & the rest(High-tech industry) around 150K to 200K but with high debt expenses (House 1 million and above) so kind of expensive or out of place... …
The facial care and fragrance selection is good here and the Women's selection is respectable. Bedding has a nice variety with some top quality selections. The men's section is a bit light, especially when compared to the one in PA.
All the premium brands available here. All are segregated and have separate stores inside so it's easier to shop. It's better version of Macy's as it's much more organized and systematic. People to help at every store or counter.
Cashier was rude, would not even speak to say hello or anything. But almost broke her neck to speak to some other woman l, just couldn't be bothered with the paying customers in front of her. Ridiculous.
Our advisor Jessy from LV had amazing customer service. We didn't felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. He kept his word on notifying us when an item we were searching for arrives. We will be back!
WestValleyFair Mall is extraordinary! Absolutely beautiful now that all the renovations are done. Ample parking, and plenty of space to get lost. It's all quite amazing, awe-inducing, and fun.
Inept. Unorganized. Without knowledge. Describes the staff here in San Jose. They are unable to receive an unwanted item Without having patron appear in person for their refund.
Nice store , good for shopping and also has very good on sells The sellers are friendly. The store is nice and clean, and the bathrooms are also clean. …
Good place to shop for Louis Vuitton items without the long lines. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable which you should expect at a high-end retailer.
Bloomingdales store manager is rude. Instead of helping customers she seems occupied with running around doing nothing. Dirty mall, Smells bad. Not worth it
Came in for the bathroom which was hard to find. Pretty crowded on bottom floor, much emptier on upper levels. Pretty empty given how busy the mall is.
The most luxurious store in south bay. Large selection of fashion goods with great discounts. The decoration in this store is gorgeous.
Nice service filled angel perfume bottle rode bike becuz you have to pay to park car bike rack is right next to blommies
Good fashion clothing! Men & women fashion accessories, cosmetics , perfumes and footwear are available !
I didn't really get a chance to look but what I glance that was all right …
White glove customer service for high-end clothing and accessories.
They are kind and helpful. Welcome the customers.
Nice men's cologne selection!
