I went here to cash my check one day and upon asking a simple question to why the price of charge changed, the red headed lady with drawed on crooked eyebrows rolled her eyes and started getting so defensive. I then proceeded to ask if she treats her customers with attitude everyday, she then got more mad, yelled and told me I'm lucky she's even cashing my check and told me to leave and not come back, for a simple question? Really? It's not even about the "2 dollars" of charge I was just curious to why the charge was different from last time I went... what bothered me was the way she handled the situation. That's not how you talk to or treat customers. I also think health and safety should check this place out cuz I had a friend get sick after eating here, there's grease and fly's everywhere in the kitchen.

Went here recently for first time - was skeptical but heard good things about their breakfast so tried it out. Clean with very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Had the basic breakfast which was really good with very generous portions (couldn't even finish!) and it was ready really fast. It wasn't very busy when we went - so not sure if its always that fast. The building has a bit of a rough reputation but would highly recommend it for breakfast and lunch at least - its definitely worth a shot for anyone living or working downtown.

The restaurant and bar has recently gone through a major upgrade. New tv’s throughout and new paint. It is still rustic and during the day has an interesting mix of people who live and work downtown. My review is based on visit today during lunch. Excellent food for the price. I personally wouldn’t go here in the evening but have never seen any issues during the day when I have visited.

Real people real fun real full all around good time. One block from the heart of Winnipeg Portage and Main Street Bleachers sports bar also a historical place it was one of the first sports bars in the peg. I liked it Foods great too portions are way too big.I recommend going there......

I love this restaurant. It looks kinda ghetto but the food is excellent. it's priced so well and the coffee is good as well. I love the breakfast but they have good soup and burgers too

This walk up bar has gotten way better since the new ownership. Resos have been done. Kitchen hours have been reduced but food quality changed.

Covid hit us all. I don't drink here I just by beer. And you know what? They seem a bit pricier than other vendor's.
