Couldn't rate or recommend Pino and this Bank/branch any higher. The manager here got my home loan across the line when my broker failed and even my OWN bank couldn't offer me helpful terms. Pino spent the time to fully look into all my options and then, unlike ANYONE I'd dealt with to try and get my first home loan, he explained everything to make me feel comfortable and confident that I understood what was happening. Since settlement, he still has not dropped the ball, guiding me through any questions I throw at him. This commitment and service is rare. On the biggest financial outlay in a person's life, this professional and personal approach from him is all I wanted... A1, and just a great human too....

I have few loans with them and my recent experience with them is really bad. My construction loan was fully approved and documents signed in May 2022. Builder issued first progress payment invoice on 20/09/2022 which was due by 27/09/2022. Upon following up found they got us sign wrong documents in May. Now they are fixing it. Builder is still not paid and all I am hearing from last 2 weeks that they will be paid in 48 hours. Now builder is looking at stopping our construction. Do not Bank with them. 06/06/2023- Updated from 1 to 4 star because all the progress payments after first one were paid on time.

I highly recommend Bank of Queensland. If you are looking for that old fashioned banking service, where the bank manager knows who you are & the staff know you by name then BoQ is the bank for you. Despite the name they are actively involved in supporting the Adelaide community. The team in the Adelaide branch are amazing, I always feel so welcome and enjoy the friendly personal greeting when I enter the branch. A special mention to Charlie, Customer Service Officer, who has helped me when I have requested support to safely manage larger transfers and to sign documents.

If I can rate with negative stars I would. There has been an ongoing issue with my Dad and BOQ, he went to the BOQ Adelaide Office to pay and setup direct debit payment for his personal loan on the 20th of Aug. He got a call this morning saying he hasn't paid yet and his account hasn't setup for direct debit yet. It's been more than 1 week since he went to the BOQ Adelaide Office! Also, any bank can easily setup direct debit payment online but BOQ needs people to go to their office! Now they want my Dad to go BOQ Adelaide Office again. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour!

I could not recommend a bank more reputable, caring and knowledgeable than BOQ. Walking into BOQ, you can instantly feel the family culture, safety, security and are always welcomed with a smile. Pino and his team recently helped our family with a home loan. There are some things you can't do on line, like signing documents to satisfy government requirements. We have found the people at BOQ Adelaide to be very friendly and effecient. Another plus is a direct phone number and not having to ring a call centre. Our appointment to open a term deposit was on time and Michael had things organised in a timely manner.

When deciding to organise a finance, it was a no brainer to utilise the SA operated BOQ. William, Pino and Michael are all professionals who take the time to understand your unique situation rather than just go through the motions, and will keep you informed and updated along the way. Appreciate all the efforts, keep up the good work!

I would not recommend opening an account with this bank. I keep transferring online to my account from another bank, and BOQ does not add it to my account. I have to keep chasing it with customer service on phone and they take weeks to update my account with funds. Very poor service. The feedback is not related to the branch though.

Ongoing issues with Dad's personal loan. Called them, said they can't do anything on the phone. Nothing can be done on his online account either. Went to their Adelaide office to fix everything. Nothing happened! Thought everything was okay, then he got a call this morning with same issues. This doesn't even deserve a star rating.

Highly recommend BOQ for home insurance. When our renewal notice came in this week with a 44% increase in our premium, I decided to get a quote through BOQ. It took less than 2 minutes and my premium is half of what the renewal notice was, and with higher insured amounts for both building and contents.

I can not speak highly enough of Pino and his team. We recently purchased a property and found Pino extremely helpful. We had a bit of a complicated situation but Pino took it all in his stride and made the whole deal work, great service highly recommend Pino.Home loans made easy.
