Went in Friday Nov 26 .Salesperson told me it's black Friday and its all at 30% off reg prices as everything was already tagged discounted and the 30% off original price exceeds the Indicated already discounted prices. I kept walking around and found a table that really appealed to me. She than proceeded to explain different color fabrics available for the dining chairs as well as the table top stain options . So far so good , salesperson was well informed and was able to help me understand what would work best for my needs. Once she sensed she had me "reeled in" like fish that took the bait , she pointed out at the table price tag where it showed in red the discounted price , so that I see that I'm getting a deal . I said it would be a lower price ,when I reminded her of the 30% of the reg price , her face dropped as I guess she felt now I had got what I wanted I forgot about the 30 % . When I persisted and made a quick calculation and said it's about 500.00 less than even the discounted price indicated, being 30% less than original sticker price , she barely acknowledged . Result was a deal breaker , which is what happens when someone thinks they have one over me. Moral of the story, she lost a sale and wasted my time. Fortunately Montreal is blessed with many many great furniture stores.

This store has nice things they have a good staff but the decisions that was taken in my experience was a bit odd mathematically speaking. So we enter the store we understood there was 30% off on the floor furniture. we found a cute desk for 3500$ after the rebate. but i realized there was a burnt dot on the surface of the desk, so i asked if we can do it for 3000$ instead of 3500$ but i was surprised to know that because it has that burnt dot on it they will give 20% off only cause they will need to fix the dot!! that was very strange so basically we get charged more cause the desk is damaged !! the strangest part was that if we would order that same desk new i would have the same 20% which means that buying the burnt desk and and buying the new desk is the same rate anyways thats our experience . Im just happy i passed mathematic 536 when i was in school thanks

It always feels great to walk in this furniture store. There is always something new to look at and the way they display the furniture is very tasteful. The concrete floors, high ceilings make it look very "New York" Style. They have a vast selection of contemporary furniture that can fit every taste. Don't hesitate to talk to the many knowledgeable interior designers that are available for you on the floor. They always give great advice and can help you in making decisions, setting your floor plan, etc.. I think Avenue Design is one of the best furniture stores in Montreal.

They have nice stuff for sure. But it is overpriced. We found the same cabinet from Wayfair for 30% less. Yes it was identical (we made absolute certain that it was the same manufacturer, dimensions, finish etc..), yes it was new and no it was not a sale price. Avenue’s after-sale service is non-existent. The “designers” are trained to talk a good game but when you have a problem afterwards (damages on delivery, pilling of supposedly “commercial grade” fabrics) good luck getting someone to call you back. They do, however, respond promptly when it’s time to pay.

We purchased living room furniture from this store a few months back and have been incredibly pleased with their service from their in store designer in Montreal, Benedetta, who was evidently knowledgeable about design and how to maximize your space with furniture to the delivery personnel who just delivered our custom items, Julian and Jamal, they were very cautious while delivering and had warm personalities. If I do need any more furniture piece, I’ll look no further

It was an absolute pleasure working with Avenue Design and more so specifically with Aylin. Her expertise in the field made for such a quick and easy process. From being able to truly customize all our furniture needs to picking out the fine details our home decor is spectacular. Being able to work closely with Aylin really helped facilitate and make the whole process stress-free. Thank you again and we definitely recommend them and their spectacular home decor and designs.

We met with Aylin after discussing the project by phone, and her expertise and understanding of what we were looking for was immediate. She listened to what we were looking for and took us in the right direction on our project, and we will definitely be doing more projects in the future. Avenue Design has a wide variety of furniture and accessories available, and we were able to put together the perfect room.

We walked in the store, nobody said hello. We passed in front of the staff and they didn’t even say anything. I wanted to buy the furniture for my whole house but i felt very unwelcome. I guess the staff is not interested in selling. I feel bad for the owners because they do everything to make business work but the bad service from the staff makes the experience for customers very unprofessional.

We didn't like the service at all, she was very arrogant! And the price they gave us on their Facebook page was not even the right price! They told us that they made a mistake on the price and it was much more expensive....I feel they are just trying get us go to the store. We didn't buy anything because of the bad service....same thing happened with my friend who went there!

Store looks fine, sofa is nice, I agree with the previous review that accessories are not to be bought there. What lacks in design is the thoughts from the builder of the sofa who puts the legs before it is delivered. I mean who does that? It scratches all the door frames and my newly painted walls!

I had a great experience shopping at avenue design , the staff were very helpful and professional . the designer went above and beyond the call of the job to make sure we got what we ordered, Delivery was as promised. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The best investment I have made in furniture by far. I bought my living room and dining room furniture from them years ago and it still looks new. Loved the designer service also. I have recommend them to all my friends and family and everyone is very happy with their purchases.

This place is like no other. I am so happy and satisfied with the professionalism, the good design advising and most of all, the excellent customer service ! Ask for Natalie, i highly recommend her. She is so good and so far my experience has been amazing.

Best place to shop for great furniture. The have lots of choices and a wide range of materials to choose from if you want to customize your products. Really enjoyed my visit there!
