Amazing job on center pieces. HORRIBLE job on bouquets, boutineers and corsages. Jill did the flowers for my wedding. She was so expensive. The center pieces were absolutely beautiful. The bouquets made me want to cry. She decided to completely change the look of my bridal bouquet on the day of the wedding. She showed up with it looking nothing like the picture I sent her. It was supposed to have various shades of pastel colors instead it was all white. If I wanted my bouquet to be all white I would have gave her a picture of a plain white bouquet. I thought it was horrible of her to not ask my opinion on this but instead just show up with a completely different bouquet from that of the picture I gave her. She went against the contract that I signed stating that my bouquet would have shades of pink in it. It was my bridal bouquet but yet she didn't even ask me about the drastic change. She also put in flowers that she said would turn brown. Why she would put flowers in that would brown is beyond me. She also changed the bridesmaids' bouquets to having tan in them instead of the all pink that we agreed upon. I gave her simple photos to follow but she did not follow them in the least. When I threw the bouquet later in the day I didn't even want it back. It was not pretty especially with the then brown flowers. Not to mention that all of the bouquets that she brought smelled of smoke. I don't smoke and I definitely didn't want to smell like smoke on my wedding day. The boutineers and corsages were no good either. I asked for simple boutineers with just two specific flowers that are very common and available. Instead I got the ugliest looking flower that made the boutineers literally look like they belonged on a clown. The corsages looked like they belonged out of the 80s. They had this massive ugly scrunchy looking band. I don't understand why they don't pay for nicer looked bands instead of these giant eyesores. Overall such a disappointment. If you have a contract and even clear photos you should stick to it. Don't go in your own direction without even telling your client. Terrible.

The Hyatt recommended this place when I had a friend in town staying there and needed flowers delivered for her birthday. Not only were the flowers beautiful and delivered a mere 2 hours after I ordered them-- the staff were very nice and helpful. Extremely easy to work with and very knowledgeable and amenable to changes (I changed my mind like 3 times). The arrangement was BEAUTIFUL and made my friend's night.

Avant-Garde is a must have for any wedding! They take care of so much more than just flowers!! (and believe me, those are magnificent too). They took care of the table cloths, china, chair covers, all the little touches that make the special day so memorable!! I could not have done it without Jill!! She is a lifesaver!!! And keeps your hair from turning gray!! Thank you Jill!! You are the best!!

A friend of mine was in nearby Banner Good Samaritan Hospital, and I live in another state. I called Avant Garde and arranged a flower delivery for her. The transaction was extremely smooth and the flowers were delivered promptly. I would definitely recommend them.
