I used to do Japanese Straightening in Adelaide every 3 months. It has always been successfully done in one session. But recently I moved to Brisbane and I found Aquolia on the internet. I booked the session with a female hair dresser ( she is Japanese hardly can speak English). Anyways, the owner and the girl are very nice and they will offer you coffee and chocolate. They are very nice and friendly. I said it explicitly that my hair is very weak and needs the lightest version of ( Shiseido N1) and I gave the girl clear instruction not to use any strong one as my hair can not hold it. She used N1 on the back of my hair and She insisted on adding a percentage of the strong one to the front of my hair. As she is the expert I trusted her and let her do that. The result, after three days, I washed my hair and it is not straight at all plus she destroyed my front hair ( or ends are splits now) so I went there again and spent another 3.5 hours to redo the product on my hair again. Now it is straight but destroyed, can never be restored. photos are attached. Although they are nice people and I could see the owner styling hair for other professionally, but I will never recommend using hair straining there. I paid total 345 AUD ( including the down payment) to destroy my hair. I can never go back again

The truely first class transen dental experience, went to another level with fluffy Pico on my knee.Thank you Meg for the Shiatsu head and neck massage , after which I could only float out of my chair. Hard to decide who stood out most, because after Hiro’s magic , the before and after hair cut,colour,treatment and straighten hair style was over the top ‘fabulous’.Now I have to try to keep the ‘fabulous’ going at home ,with the specially selected for me hair products . .... sorry Meg but I will have to borrow Hiro occasionally to continue using his magic touch on my hair .

Hiro and Megumi were so welcoming and helpful. I went in there not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair and Hiro made the effort and time to consult with me, explain exactly what he would do and make sure I understood everything from the cut to the colour. I’ve been to many salons and I was extremely impressed at how thorough, professional and personable Hiro was. I love my cut and colour and my hair looks and feels so much better. They use a lot of great quality colouring and treatment products as well :) thank you Hiro, Megumi and Peco!

The best hair salon in the country! Toki, Megumi, Hiroki (and Pecco!) are the kindest, most helpful stylists. The environment is very welcoming, with a clean and beautiful salon. They listen to what you want and make sure they give you the best cut, treatment or styling. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I got permanent straightening with absolute no issues. Thank you so much for making my 5-hour treatment (despite it going past closing hours) very comfortable, worth-while and fun! I'll be back again. :)

It was my first visit and I had a great experience. Hiro is very professional. He explained well and gave me lots of good advises. As I did a straight perm, it took hours but they are friendly, the place is comfortable and nice atmosphere, so I could relax all the time. And I love the results! Used this husband and wife team on Milton Rd for a number of years. Was overseas at the beginning of 2020 and had to cancel my appointment due to not being able to get home from Japan due to covid flight cancellation and the main stylist threatened to cut me off if I inconvenienced him again. Super unprofessional which is a shame coz he can cut some hair and had a cute dog. Naturally I cut him off first and took my business elsewhere.

Hiro is a great hairdresser with experience. He listened to my complex request for easy and practical hair with a feminine style. He understood the difficulty of maintaining the hair while having young children so he gave me advices and recommendation. Besides the technique, the salon has a beverage service that goes along with chique cafe style and a puppy that melts your heart (very well trained).

Great hairdresser and great service. Hiroki and his partner really make you feel welcome and comfortable. Price is considerably higher than normal hairdressers but I believe it is worth it with the care and attention to detail hiroki provides and the additional services. Parking is a bit tight (back of the house) , I believe it is by appointment only and first timers receive a discount.

I was really happy with how my hair turned out. I often don't come in with a clear idea of what I want and so appreciated Hiro's ability to confidently advise me based on the style I wanted combined with my hair type and the need to have it up for work. I didn't have to wait long and the salon is clean and stylish. As an aside, Peko the salon doggo is a great bonus for dog lovers!

The salon provides hair straightening and digital perm services.Anything you are not sure about he will tell you the detail and give you an advice you for your ideal hair style:)

The way to the carpark is very narrow but once in, everything's great. Hiroki is friendly, Peko the dog is cute and the cuts are awesome. I did a hair donation and Hiroki spent time to accommodate for that, helped me take photos and also designed a short hairstyle for me which had good remarks from friends. Awesome place!
