I live in St Henri and don't travel too far up the plateau often but I will for them! The staff is so friendly, very knowledgeable about their products and they sell and an AMAZING product called Melissa's Aloe-Pet: it's formulated to provide a wide array of natural vitamins, enzymes and amino acids, which boosts your pet's immune system, relieves irritated skin and improves overall well-being. My cat has had dry skin since the day I adopted her and it always gets worse during the fall and winter when the house loses its summer humidity. I used to brush her every few days and end up filling the brush to capacity 3 times over with a TON of dandruff everywhere! I haven't even been using this product for a week and not only is she noticeably comfortable, she stopped spazzing out with her self grooming sessions, she no longer has any bumps on her skin from scratching, she has hardly any dandruff and sheds so little that even when I brush her now I can't even fill the brush with fur once!!! I can't believe I've never heard of this before and I would recommend it to everyone. It's cat and dog friendly AND it's cheaper in store than it is online. I'm in love!

I am so very grateful to have this pet store in my neighbourhood. I would claim it has some of the warmest and friendliest staff I have ever come in contact with. Staff here are all very knowledgeable and the type of people to send you to another store if that would better serve you as a customer, which I appreciate immensely. I would say this is a medium sized store however they pack in a lot of beautiful and good products suitable to the season, they showcase their products well, I am always discovering new and cool stuff for my dog. They are very competitively priced even against online retailers and you can order in just about anything you would ever need. I would highly recommend, it is one of the only remaining independently owned pet stores around and it’s my favourite in Montreal, I have used just about all of them.

I want to clarify a comment made by one commenter (Google User). The kittens and puppies they "sell" are not from mills, but rather are rescued. So the cats, dogs, birds and other animals, are there through various local shelters to give them better exposure and help these animals find a home (except obviously fish, although they do take back fish too!). They are more a food and product supplier. I've been a client of TooZoo's for over six years. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly (Mia, Sandra & Marshall). They will even look into ordering a product they don't carry if you require it. They really care about the health and welfare of the animals which is important to me and why I chose them!

This is by far the most helpful and welcoming pet store I have ever been to! Went in a couple times for odds and ends and always got great service. Just went in recently for winter dog boots and had trouble with sizing and decided on a good price range for my budget. Mia helped me so much on all the three consecutive days I came in to resize and try different brands. My dog Mowgli was welcome and always got showered with attention from all the staff. Very competent and kind, i'm very grateful to them and highly recommend!!!

Such great, helpful staff! They are so welcoming. You are allowed to bring your dog into the store as well while you shop. I brought mine and they asked all about her, gave her a treat and we chit chatted. They are so friendly. Unfortunately they don't sell my brand of dog food that I need so I go elsewhere, but they have a good selection of other pet foods, leashes, collars, toys, etc. Another review said they sell pets, but I noticed it's dated 2 years ago, and I don't think they do that anymore. Highly recommend it.

Friendliest shop I've ever been to! The staff have always been nothing less than kind and caring. From day one, I have never had a single problem with them and they are true to their service. If they do not have the products you need/want, they always find ways to work it out! I have literally gone out of my way to buy my dog's food from their store simply due to their great service and I want to support the shop :) Thank you for your hard work so far everyone! Still my favorite Pet Supply store after 2 years as a customer. The kindest, friendliest staff with helpful tips and advice. A huge array of products with special attention to updating and improving selection and quality. Very customer-focused and eager to help you with questions. A real neighborhood store that I love to visit with my dog. The window always features new /fun/useful or hard to find merchandise. They carry a variety of brands and different price points.

I still remeber last year happen . i just entering this place to buy something with my puppy . one of another customer dog barely attached my puppy and my puppy got screech on her nose . and that crazy dog's owner just apologized to me and during that time this store owner told me that dog never attached your dog and i saw that. He was not even close around us. For sure this store's owner and crazy dog's owner are friend each other. I was so disappointed.

I am very pleased with their grooming and nail clipping services today. They are a very dynamic staff. They handled my naughty and « sweetheart » pug well. She didn’t look terrified or anxious post-grooming session (it was her first time!). They gave her a large amount of treats. We will definitely come back! Also, remember to bring cash! Mocha and family are very happy to see her looking happy and fur-less for spring! Thank you Too Zoo!!!

Simply great little & local pet shop. Everyone here is always SO NICE. They are really passionate about offering the best product for your pet possible, and are always curious about what kind of little friend you have at home. They have a great, flexible return policy, and i'm always greeted with a smile whenever I visit. Definitely recommend to any pet owner in the Plateau area! (or even in the rest of Montreal, it's worth the trek)

What a lovely place. I went for the first time to trim my birds talons. The technician(maybe the owner?? I'm not sure) was a delight. She handled Rio with ease and care and it shows just how much experience she had. She gave me some pointers on taking care of my conure, and was very very friendly. I walked out feeling happy at the attention and service. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and have pet needs.

I got three pet rats from this store. I would like to say as an animal health technician the owners who breeds the rats are very knowledgeable and caring for their animals sold at the store. If you want to purchase a pet rodent here is the place to get them. I wanted to update you that all three are healthy and happy. I named them after the Powerpuff girls. I will definitely return when I have the chance.

They are simply THE BEST! We have a new kitten, have passed by many different pet shops, and this is, BY FAR, the best. All the people her are so kind, so nice and so knowledgeable. It doesn’t matter who takes care of you, ALL are great. Won’t never go to any other pet shop in Montreal. They are sooo open to help! Trust me, you won’t regret to stop by even if it is just to take a look at the store.

Really the only place to buy live rats in the area. The size of their rats seems to vary widely, though (their most recent shipment only had massive rats, way too big for my ball python), so I had to buy mice instead. They are always friendly to my dog when I bring him in, and always give him treats. They have a reasonable selection of dog food, and treats, though they are a bit pricey.

Seriously Love This Place. -Since I moved to Montreal been looking for a good pet shop. I have been to a few and since I found Too Zoo, my search is over. Great choice at a good price. But more importantly this place has real character and charm. You won't be disappointed, its great fun, plenty of jokes on the house. Can't wait to return. Seriously what a great place. I love these guys! Great neighbourhood spirit, super helpful and kind and their prices are TOO low. I keep asking them to raise the price on dogfood as they are cheaper than amazon but Mia doesn't want to because she wants to ensure people can afford dog food. Please support them. Wilbur loves them too! Edit: BTW Mia, it has been 14 years... Wilbur will be 14 in April

I love coming to Too Zoo to get my cat's food & toys! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable when I ask them for advice on selection. One of the staff even called different vet clinics for me when I was desperate to find milk replacement formula for my sick foster kitten. Thanks for being my go-to pet supplies store :)

They don't sell cats or dogs here, which as far as I'm concerned is the most important thing when choosing a pet store. Kudos to them! They're also very friendly and quick to answer questions, they have a wide variety of healthy/high-end/organic pet foods at as good a price as you can hope for and you can also groom your dog in the back. Love this place!

All my parrot's needs are met here!!! Mia is fantastic and I think my bird loves her more than me... She's very experienced with grooming birds (nails, beak, and flight feathers). I won't bring him elsewhere. Also, if a product isn't stocked there, she gladly orders for us!!! Million thanks for Too Zoo and all of their friendly staff!!!

Amazing shop! The people who work here really care and it was enjoyable for both me and my pup. I have a 55 lb Pitbull and it has been really hard to find a winter coat for her as most places don't carry her size.... This shop actually had multiple options and some unique items that I've never seen. We will definitely be returning customers :-)

Me and my pup Henry had such a wonderful time in this store today. They helped fit him out for a harness, shoes, and a jacket! The employees and owner are so friendly and helpful. I have never had such a pleasant experience shopping like this. The store was really clean and had a good selection of food, clothing, and accessories.

I got my cat groomed at Too Zoo today by Baz and Richard and they were so amazing! They took great care of my cat who was getting groomed and getting his nails trimmed for the first time. All of the staff was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease when I was originally very nervous. I'm definitely going back!

The owners ordered a dog bed in the colour we wanted, called us when it was delivered, and we were able to pick it up the same day! Our dog loves it, it's amazing quality, and much cheaper than expected! Highly recommend this store for all of your pet-accessory needs.

Pretty cute place, my small pup was freezing on his walk and we got a hurtta dog coat upon recommendation, it worked great for the whole winter in keeping him warm and happy (looks great and easy to wash/dry), we also got a few Xmas freebies which was great

This is by far our favourite pet store in Montreal. We always pop in when we're nearby even if we don't need anything or have our dogs with us. The staff are always very helpful and ready with treats for our guys.

Cute little store, and has some nice quality pet foods, I get my cat's kibble there. The staff are always friendly. Quite cramped though, and they tend to pile stuff up at the back so it's hard to move around.
