Have taken 3 family vehicles there, since about 4 years ago. Place was always meticulously clean, they were friendly while you spent money doing what they said needed doing! If you said you'd have to bring it back when you could afford it better, they guilt you into it saying if you don't do it right now it will cause more problems (even for minor things that have no knock on effect.) 2 petrol vehicles and 1 diesel, the first petrol vehicle was not serviced properly and transmission died as a result, after constant requests to service it and they said it was fine, just needed tuning. Diesel vehicle: I rang to book regular warranty service, told them it needed a new air cleaner and needed coolant flush out. Got there 830am. At 930am Toni (wife of Adam) came in and told me quite loudly in front of other customers that the air cleaner on my car was disgusting and she would have to get one sent up from repco. So I loudly replied that I TOLD HER IT NEEDED REPLACING A WEEK AGO WHEN I BOOKED IT IN, ASKING HER TO HAVE IT THERE READY TO REPLACE! (She didn't look impressed with me!) I then waited, and waited, and at 1230 when I saw one of the workers reverse my car in near the front door, dripping from going to the car wash... I then decided that as they were going to lunch and I had wasted half a day waiting for an air-cleaner, this was poor customer service having to wait and my car did not need a wash anyway... so I should go to lunch too. I requested to pay my account minus the air cleaner (I said I'd replace it myself) and after being told it would cost me more that they could buy it for which was $47... I went straight to AutoPro and bought the exact same one for $28.95 on my way home! ***Diesel vehicle receipt even says "inspected and tested spark plugs"... how the $%#@ can you do that on a Diesel?!?!?!? Obviously a crock of crap just to fill the lines on the receipt and make it look like work was done. I explained to my hubby that evening how pissed off I was at not only the 'attitude' put to me but also NO apology for not ordering the part a week before, like I asked, then we noticed that part of the name badge on the back tailgate was missing - probably from the boys giving it a wash as it was definitely there the day before! I cancelled our other petrol vehicle service that had been booked in for a week later and we now use a mobile mechanic who comes to our place and does a much better job, without all the overheads of his own workshop. I showed him the receipt and he commented that the cooling system was not even attended to -and this is a WARANTY REQUIREMENT! All in all, it just goes to show that a place with their thumb in too many pies (mechanical, electrical, camper trailers, tents, chairs, fridges...blahblahblah) is obviously focussed on the almighty dollar and not the core product that they originally started with. I was made well aware of that listening to Toni drone on and on about spending 10s of 1000s of dollars on electrical automation of their whole home, and all sorts of gadgets and gizmos, (guess they must make a pretty good cut from the camper sales) all while I was waiting for 4 hours for a frickin air cleaner I asked for the week before. I will never go back there and we tell all friends in the area not to, and it puts a bad light on those half decent campers they are reps for, just because of the poor service on vehicles.

Adam and his team were recommended to us by a friend when we bought our Toyota Landcruiser Troopcarrier, as we wanted to add a number of electrical accessories to our new vehicle to make our travelling and camping lifestyle easier. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, and Adam spent a long time with us going over our requirements and providing us with lots of useful suggestions. We immediately felt we could trust Adam, so we left him with all of our accessories and asked him to ‘treat our 4WD like it was his own’. Adam regularly called us with updates during the time he was working on our vehicle in his workshop - which was an extremely busy time as it was in the weeks prior to Christmas. During this time he was also easy to contact if we had any questions. When we returned to pick up our vehicle we were gobsmacked by the quality and thoughtful set up Adam had installed. Adam had installed USB Ports in the back seat area for the kids to charge their iPads, etc, and he also spent a lot of time and effort with installing and modifying a small shower head tap on the rear tyre holder of the 4WD, that connected up to our 55L water tank, so that we could wash sand and mud off before getting back into the car. This has been a blessing in so many ways – happy kids and clean feet!!! Adam went above and beyond with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail that he and his team had added to our ‘lifestyle vehicle’. In addition to the parts and accessories that we had pre-purchased for installation, we were thrilled with the thoughtful additional accessories that had been added. Adam had indeed treated the car like it was his own, and this project was above and beyond what we had expected. Since our first experience with Adam’s Auto Centre, we have returned not only to add further accessories to our car, as we have chosen Adam’s Auto Centre as our preferred service provider for our vehicles. As a customer of Adam’s Auto Centre I strongly recommend his business to my friends, family and colleagues. You feel like you can trust Adam’s business as the staff are polite, friendly and helpful, the reception area is spectacular with its ‘Outback’ themed waiting area, the workshop is spotless and you may be lucky enough to visit on a day when Casper the owner’s friendly dog is there to greet you!

My company has been a customer of Adam's Auto Centre for 6 years and during this time have had minor and major services carried out on a range of diesel and petrol vehicles along with auto electric work on trailers and caravans. I have found the staff and management of this business to be thoroughly professional, totally meticulous and unfailingly helpful. The workshop is always spotless and their attention to detail and customer service is exceptional. It is rare to find a mechanical service business of this calibre. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Adam's for over 2 years and have always found them to be efficient, personable and helpful. Dan leads a wonderful team who are very knowledgeable and explain issues in an easy to understand way. I had an issue arise this week that made my car not driveable and while they didn't have availability until Monday, after speaking with Dan this was rectified within the day. Cannot recommend nor thank Adam's Auto Centre highly enough. Having my car breakdown at 8 months pregnant is incredibly stressful but James and the team took that stress away and made it a really easy process. They encountered some problems whilst working on my car due to some stubborn parts and loaned me a car overnight whilst they continued working on the issue. They kept me regularly updated throughout the process. Thanks guys, you have a customer for life in me.

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else unless you’re happy to get overcharged for parts. They’ll tell you mechanical jargon as to why the price is so expensive. Have a quick look online at websites like repco and compare the price they’re giving you to the prices on the website. Huge difference. Have contacted the car manufacturer to confirm they were lying and have now filed a complaint with Consumer and Business Services (CBS).

Adams Auto did an amazing job getting the AC working on my 1993 R32 Skyline! Nick was great to deal with and kept me updated along the way. Due to an engine conversion there was electrical work required as well as mechanical and sourcing of used (working) AC components - Very happy!

Adams Auto just made excuses why they couldn't fix my aircon for me told me my car was old and had different connections to the gas in they told me my pump was leaking and the car just had a full engine replacement and the pump was perfectly fine

Do not take your car or 4wd here, not only will they not diagnose the problem they will create an even larger expense that needs to be taken elsewhere to fix properly from the damage they cause
