This Metro station located at the border of the enclave town of Mount-Royal & Parc Extension, a Montreal neighborhood. The border is noticeable with the presence of fences due of income gaps of the 2 areas with Acadie street being the border street. Aside from the location, the Metro station aesthetic is alright, with the gray texture outside and at the upper levels while at the Metro level there's red & black tiles. There's a lack of elevators so it can be challenging for mobile restricted people but there's also stairs & escalators. Not a really crowded station just like most of the Blue line stations.
Acadie station is one of the most simplistic and most beautiful stations in the Metro system. Pros: A) Nice Station deisgn and simplistic as well. B) Right by the strip mall C) Its right by TMR and VIlleray but very busy and clsoe to the UdeM campus of Outremont. Cons: 1) It is far for a walk to get the mall or other places. 2) And least densed. 3) No Elevators. Other than that. It is a nice and busy metro station. This station is a keeper and a Gem!
Worst station ever. I have seen better stations in under developing countries. Person behind the counter behave like a colonial era clerk. This is not a tourist friendly place!
I do use often and it's well maintained station. It connects the place where I go frequently maybe that's the reason why I rate five stars :)
L'Acadie c'est la petite soeur de la station Parc. Trop creuse par contre. Ça lui nuit dans mon évaluation.
Station de métro desservie par plusieurs lignes de bus. On y retrouve un service sur place.
Futuristic brutalist architecture. Exciting for public transport nuts like me.
