I’ve been seeing Paul at Absolute Dental for more than 4 years. I’m a nervous patient having had mixed experiences and poor advice from other dentists over the years. I’ve been genuinely distressed at the thought of a visit, warning dentists to expect quiet sobbing in the chair. And sob I have. I was referred to Paul by a family member and I’m so glad. Several of our extended family are patients. Paul and his staff have been just fantastic. He is friendly, reassuring and skilled. I trust his advice and ability. My first contact with Absolute Dental related to a tooth that I’d had numerous issues with for 20 years with a couple of other previous dentists/clinics. It’d been filled, filled again, then a root canal. Years later when the filling broke and I went to have it removed, I was convinced to have a $1600 crown on a post fitted, but that came out within 1 year. It was refitted and less than a year later came out again and was swallowed (destined to fail, even noted on my file it was unstable, but happily took my money). I was distraught at the thousands I had spent and didn’t know who to see or trust. My first contact with Paul was to have that tooth removed because I didn’t see any other possible option and had no intention of replacing that crown and continuing the distress and expense. In one visit with Paul the plan was entirely different with him suggesting an option I’d been told by others was not possible. We talked through the option of an implant, he didn’t bag previous dentists, but explained why the previous advice may not be correct. I was cautious and a little nervous - I didn’t know him and didn’t want to waste thousands more. I had a CT the next day and was referred to a periodontist (also fantastic) for an implant. 3 weeks later I had that dental implant post in place. That’s over 4 years ago. Not a single issue - stable and solid and fantastic. Yes I spent more money, but wisely this time. Dental visits in general can be costly, so getting solid good advice and treatment is more important than ever. I don’t believe I have wasted a single cent seeing Paul. And he referred me to a specialist who was also lovely, and skilled and did a wonderful job for me. It’s a fact of life that not everyone is good at their job. But Paul is. And the people he employs are. And the people he refers you to are too. I no longer dread a dentist visit and I’m happy to see him.

Paul and the rest of the staff at Absolute Dental are AMAZING! I literally have nothing bad to say about this facility! I have really bad anxiety when it comes to dentistry and purely from a horrible traumatic experience as a child. After my sister referred me to Paul and after visiting the clinic my whole thought process and emotions behind dentistry changed! The receptionists are absolutely beautiful they are always happy to help with any questions and remember you by name before you even check in! The dental assistants and hygienists are also amazing and help calm the nerves whilst also being super friendly! Last but not least Paul is awesome! He talks through every step with you, answers any questions you may have and takes time and care into making sure that it’s as pleasant as it can be. I had a few pesky teeth causing me issues and Paul made sure he could fix it with as little pain possible! He also has casual conversations with you throughout the whole process as to keep those nerves at bay and you can just tell that he as well as everyone else genuinely cares about you. Also.... the laser technology AMAZING! I also don’t do too well with needles and the laser is (almost) entirely pain free it just depends on if you have sensitive teeth and what not. 4 filings and 1 seal done and I only felt 2 of them and even then it was bearable and didn’t need numbing!

I have been a client at Absolute Dental for more than 5 years now, and I cannot be happier with the experience I’ve had. Since I was a child I have feared the dentist, and dreading going to my 6-monthly check ups. However, since seeing Paul and his wonderful team of hygienists, dental assistants and reception, that has all change. Paul has an incredibly caring nature who puts you at ease. He is very thorough with his work and explains in detail anything services you require or may benefit from. He also has a great team of hygienists who share the same values and mannerisms as Paul. They are all very accomodating to special needs you may have, and will make adjustments to help you feel as comfortable as possible. I am lucky to have found such a fantastic dentist and will continue to go to Paul until he retires.

The team from Absolute Dental Care are fantastic! From the minute you enter the premises you know the treatment is going to be successful. Steph & Naz at the reception are sincerely friendly. Ashley in an unassuming, friendly and gentle manner reminds you that flossing is essential. Chen is so caring, gentle & comforting. That leaves Paul. There is a dentist who knows his ‘stuff’! Is clearly passionate about dentistry & providing the right & caring treatment. I’m a serious ‘gagger’ which makes for a challenge in dentistry. No challenge for Paul & Chen tho’; they are exceptionally patient and caring. The team at Absolute Dental Care are the best!

I have been going to Absolute Dental Care for about 7 years now, and the customer service has always been friendly, polite, and courteous. This is reflected by Paul, who has performed numerous work on my teeth over the years, from the routine to the more daunting (for me at least) - always with a smile, friendly banter, and with absolute professionalism. I am so satisfied with the service provided by Paul and his team at Absolute Dental Care, that I'm happy to travel through peak hour traffic to the Westside, even though I live in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane these days. I’ve hated the dentist for many years after having many terrible ones as a kid this place, Absolute Dental Care has me change my opinion on dentistry Dr Paul and the team are absolute life savers I went there with a terrible swelled face and a bad tooth, Dr Paul talked talked through the whole procedure and the various fixes. Everything was resolved in one sitting and I know have future visits planned to correct some other dental issues. Staff are super friendly and you feel at home in the relaxed atmosphere. If you haven’t been to a dentist or are thinking about changing I cannot recommend “Absolute Dental Care” more.

I spent last week observing Dr Paul and co. at Absolute Dental Care. Everyone was so unbelievably welcoming and made me feel at ease. I got to see lots of technology I hadn't seen before such as Airflow cleaning and the use of KTP laser. Dr Paul and Lizzie explains all procedures very eloquently and never pressure patients into anything either. Thank you so much for the experience Absolute Dental Care. My family and I have been coming to see Paul and the team at Absolute Dental Care for more than 10 years. My 6 year old has been in the chair since the age of 2 first getting used to visits to the dentist and then for regular care and treatment. I can highly recommend Paul for his exceptional work with kids - my child looks forward to coming and now so do the younger cousins! The facilities and location are terrific and I always know exactly what is going on with treatment or options available to us. I can also get a quote or estimates and ask plenty of questions, nothing is ever too much trouble!

A friend of a friend recommended Dr Paul Rollason to me, and I am very pleased that my search for a dentist in the western suburbs has ended. Dr Paul and his team score five out of five stars on all criteria a lay person could use to appraise a dentist and a dental practice. All staff are incredibly friendly and always want to help. I've been seeing Paul since I was a kid, his enthusiasm for what he does as well as his friendly and understanding nature has made it easy for me as a teenager and young adult to take responsibility for my teeth and their care. Him and his team are always willing and wanting to explain what they do and why, and have educated me countless times on how I can protect my teeth beyond standard appointments. All staff are very friendly and quite obviously like working there and are proud of the practice. I can honestly stay that Dr Paul is streets ahead of my old dentist. He takes the time to explain what is happening and to make sure that your bite is correct after the work and you are happy with it. There are no issues in coming back in for adjustments. (My last dentist, not so much.) He doesn't upsell you or pressure you to get all the work done at once if you don't want too. Very happy to have switched to absolute dental care.

Paul has been our family dentist for 18 years now. Even after moving out of the area, we have continued to entrust Paul and his team with our oral health needs. He is passionate about the care he provides and every visit feels like a catch up with friends. The advice he gives is only ever in the patients best interest and doesn't pressure sell or push unnecessary work. The practice is open outside of normal business hours a few nights a week which makes getting the family there after work and school so much easier.

A visit today to Dr Paul Rollason resulted in the repair of two ancient fillings in my ancient mouth. The explanation of the problem was very clear and the required work was done quickly with minimum discomfort. Dr Paul is a very experienced and capable professional who knows his stuff, keeps himself up to date with advances in dental practice and modern equipment and has kept my teeth in very good order continuously for more than 20 years. He continues to be my Dentist of choice. Strongly recommended.

Dr Paul Rollason has been our family dentist for the last 25 years from when our daughters were very little. As a result I consider him more as a friend who knows our family well. This is one of the BEST dental services I have come across in Brisbane. Dr Paul is a very good dentist who provided me with great advise on my tooth issues and followed it up with very good treatment. Dr Paul Rollason is our new family dentist and easily the best one we've had. He is competent, great with kids, thoroughly explains everything, and 'goes the extra mile' in his treatment. He did an excellent job on my daughter's fillings and my son's root canal. Fees are very reasonable considering the quality of care. My husband is also impressed - he said he would give Paul six stars if it were possible. The receptionist and and other staff are lovely and really helpful too.

Have been a patient of Dr Paul’s for a few years and couldn’t wish for a better dental professional. Dr Paul had an excellent manual dexterity and responded efficiently to my query. With a strong interpersonal skill, he and Mrs Qian He eased me to feel more relaxed during the entire procedure. Welcome to Jess, the new hygienist. It was a tough gig to follow however she is clearly up to the challenges of a dental phobic who thinks all dentistry should be conducted under anaesthetic! Jess is calm, confident, tolerant, knows her stuff and just lovely. Despite my dental phobia I keep going back to Absolute Dental Care ... they do care!

I must say that the service and work performed on my teeth was of the highest standards and would recommend Paul to anyone who needs an honest and thorough dentist to look after their teeth. Of course there is a down side and that is the cost which is high. That said you get what you pay for and is worth it with Absolute Dental Care.
