The neighborhood is not all safe. Every time there's a big event that occurs in that Park there is always trouble that follows. If you decide to visit that Park on any given day be careful of your surroundings. Myself I will never attend a function that occurs in that Park on no day at all. Now one positive thing about the park is that it is kept up well.

I attended Super Sunday all the way from Oklahoma. When I tell you them Louisiana Indians know how to celebrate the ancestors. It was a great experience. I'll definitely visit again. This pic was one of my favorite. My ancestors rest where the Buffalo roam. #IndianTerriorityOklahoma ✌ …

There was a lot of exotic wildlife visiting the hood. The exotic creatures kept running into the streets, interrupting the 2nd line, and blocking out the locals for whom it's a cultural institution. Yet another part of New Orleans that is no longer for natives- GENTRIFIED OUT.

Old school neighborhood park. We spent Super Sunday there to see the Mardi Gras Indians! The crowd was pleasant and loved all the creative food/drink vendors. We love our New Orleans' traditions!

My husband and I were told about the super Sunday by a local. It was a magnificent experience. Great food and drinks. And the costumes and what was being represented was just awesome.

All it really needs, is for those who bought garbage, cans, food, bags and other trash is to leave with your stuff and throw it away somewhere else...

Fun when Indians take over! Not ideal for picnic or park date if interested in scenic. Spacious but simple teenage or young adult outdoor space
