I asked the lady behind the counter to buy one of the products behind her, she said she didn’t have it although she picked it up.. And added “it’s my store”, I could clearly see it was the right one but just incase I’d gotten the name wrong I asked if I could just look at it . I had a a $100 bill ready in my hand and she saw it and said she didn’t have change for that, I told her I could pay by card instead if I could just look at the product I wanted to buy first. She then took the drink I had ready on the counter and yelled at me “GET OUT GET OUT” . It was surrealistic! I’d been polite the whole time and trying to spend money at “her store”. I looked in shock at the costumers behind me who retuned the look of shock by her sudden outburst. I saw the picture from another reviewer who’d been pepper sprayed and think it’s likely the same woman. 7/11 management should get rid of her, she’s unstable and a bad representation of the branch.

I had the strangest experience at this 7-11 this morning. I asked the front desk clerk if they offered Western Union services. She first of all gave me a very judgmental look and the proceeded to very rudely tell me they didn’t offer the services. In disappointment, I told her that for some reason the Western Union website lists them as an approved location that is currently offering services. I even tried showing her the address I had, in order to verify if I was at the right place. She then gets really uncomfortable and starts yelling “don’t touch my stuff, don’t touch my stuff!”. This left me perplexed and confused. Not sure if there was a language barrier, anti-black behavior or just sheer ignorance but the experience definitely ensures that I will not be returning to this place.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Came in from out of town and wanted to buy a 6 pack of beer for our hotel room. Beer was clearly labeled as one price, but lo and behold the register rang it up as a different, higher price. When I questioned it, the response was people are always moving the price tags. Then went back and clearly read the label which matched exactly what I was buying and the person I assume to be the manager just walked away from me and ignored what I was saying. Pretty sure charging a different price than what is on the shelf is illegal. If I wasn't from out of town, I'd probably call the BBB or file a complaint with consumer protection. In any event, from the other reviews and my experience, I would avoid this place.

I cant get these mothafcas to consistantly give correct change. In my experience, 7 elevens in general keep some shamelessly dishonest store managers. I told the bich how much my change was. .46 change. Told her. She said yes. The bich gone tell her mngr to go to the back...because "he wants his penny". Mngr: How much? A PENNY?! Gives me the penny. Shoos me off with an irritated thank you sir. Theres no hope for the world. Use to be, you get written up a d fired for practicing short changing customers. Or it was an accident. Now its all entitlement, 7 eleven deliberate shameless scamming/dishonest store managers, with their overworked staff. Does anyone feel the same way. Please "Like" if your experience has been the same.

I'm not sure where to complain about this but the store refuses honor the $1 small cup of coffee special. The decal on the outside of the store features a mug of coffee and says "Small Coffee $1." So, I make my coffee and the cashier rings it up for $1.59. I point out the special and the cashier like just shrugs. The rude woman inside says it's for iced coffee only, but the sign and the 7-Eleven website features the small coffee special. I left and I won't be back. This woman needs to read her specials and work on her customer service skills.

Unfortunately, I had a trouble with this store. I bought just a ham slider (99 cents) and a 1 liter bottle of Skyra water (less that 3 dollars). However, the clerk charged me around $ 100 USD dollars. The woman who attended me did not give me a receipt. I realize this when I checked my bank statement. When I returned to the store, the same employee was no longer there. And the employee on duty couldn't help me. I hope 7-Eleven can solve me, fix that error, and I'll change this rate as well. Thank you.

We stopped in to get some wine, the door for the wine in the cooler seemed to be jammed so we were reaching from the cooler beside it and the employee came up behind us and said “ Seriously, seriously?!?!” Verily loudly and condescending, he was shaking his head at us, he said you should have asked for assistance but there was no signage saying that. We assumed the door was malfunctioning, he was very rude and treated us as if we were stupid. Where was the customer service?!?!

This 7-11 is always out of 2 liter bottles of Coke. Poor selection and availability of fresh cut fruit cups/bowls. Very bad customer service. Now I just go one block west on Elm street for another, better, 7-Eleven store. (Corner of Elm & Akard) The handicap entrance is normally closed & locked without any proper signs. Hope they start getting fined for keeping the legally required & usable handicap ramp closed & unavailable to the public customers who live and work downtown.

Sits on corner of Elm & Ervay and at 1800 hrs today was manned by purple hair female who requested 64 cents for a cup of ice. Side door generally open is probably hatemail depending on when locked up. Entering thru front door means husband. So it's hit and miss on the free ice in your own cup" Maybe if she wasn't gabbing with another customer she would be given me free ice, but we'll never know now. Two others in the area spike to me and one of them was assualtive.

The woman of the payment box attacked my husband with pepper spray in his eyes, she was so rude. Everything happened because we were trying to buy groceries; I gave her a 20 dollars bill and she changed my bill for a different one and told me it was fake when it wasn’t true so I was explaining and suddenly she attacked us, we had to call the police. She can kill someone. We’ll denounce this case. Take care people she is dangerous, she wanted to robbery our money

If I can give zero starts I would. The worst customer service. The employee behind the counter dressed and acting like he just climbed out of a dumpster. Mumbling and providing no help what so ever and giving attitude. I purchased a hot dog, was cold, the bun was cold and hard and offering no condiments. I wasn’t expecting a high standard from a 7 Eleven hotdog, but this was definitely not fit for human consumption. Waste of time and money. Avoid this store.

This block would become significantly safer if this store was shut down. There is always a group of questionable men outside who often make comments at people walking on the sidewalk. This afternoon two of them had pistols showing in their waistbands. The store is always disgusting and it’s obvious they are desperate for help and let anyone work who shows up. It’s a shame because the rest of the surrounding area has made improvements as far as safety goes.

This store is downtown, so I’m sure they deal with all kinds of things daily, that may explain their low tolerance for some behaviors. The ladies, and the husband of one of the ladies have always been so kind to me. She knows me by name and greets me, and even takes recommendations on what they should stock. I also enjoy the white gentleman with the ponytail at night. The Jamaican guy is snappy, rude, and just downright miserable!

I almost walked out without buying anything because of how the guy manning the cash register was screaming at the customers. Honestly it made me a little scared to buy anything here- not sure what he was yelling at them about but seeing tons of reviews about the same rude male cashier, I would say the cashier was probably the one with the issue. Otherwise it seems like a really well stocked 7-eleven!

Like that new car smell this store is clean and well stocked. Grant it it is exceptionally small and limited on what they stick, they have the basic essentials. Plus it's located much closer than any the others to my office. They usually are busy but are well staffed. I haven't tried any of the heat lamp food there but I never have been a fan of that type of food anyway.

This guy is running two registers at once like a boss to get everyone in the line out faster. All the while being the kindest gentleman to everyone walking through. You could tell he had a lot of regulars because they were just as happy to see him. What a nice surprise, wish we’d gotten his name. 5pm on Sunday December 19th.

Living downtown you expect to hear noise but the music played by the 7/11 across the street is extremely loud at night playing music. There has to be a noise ordinance violation they’re going against as a convenience store. Please stop lower the volume at least. Thank you!

Terrible , manager extremely rude African lady. This is a cooperating location. But she Would not cooperate and allow me to purchase a bus ticket that was prepaid. She acts like she doesn’t know but won’t scan the bar code once explained completely unreasonable and rude.

  • Martina Benavides

Me and my family were disrespected and cussed out by the cashier here! For no reason! I hope he gets fired children should be yelled at or cussed out his lucky i didn’t call the cops!

Not 24 hours. Doors locked, and no delivery trucks outside, but there was at least one employee struggling with a mop. …
