I went into the store to pick up a tv wall mount because when I was looking online it says they have it in store and I noticed online it said that there was certain ones that were online only but the one I was looking at did not say online only. So I picked up the tv mount and I noticed it wasn’t on sale so I went to purchase it in the tech department and I showed him on my phone that it was on sale but it wasn’t on sale in the store. So we compare the UPC’s and they were the same and then he said to go to customer service so they could price match. So I took the item to customer service to price match. Once I made it to customer service I told (Terresa) at customer service that the item was on sale online but not in store. She then took the item out of my hands and said we do not price match the online store. And I was really confused on how you can’t price match your online store when it’s the same company. She then asked who told you that we price matched and I said the individual in the tech department she then said the people in the tech department don’t work for Walmart so they don’t know anything. she then was advising me that the online Walmart website is not the same as Walmart in person. And while telling me that she had a really rude attitude like she was talking down to me, and was sounding like she was better than me. I would understand if the item said online only and I came in to get it at the online only price but the item I was looking at was not an online only item.

Online grocery pickup service: I've used this service three times now, the most recent being today, December22, 2019. On the positive side, the website is easy to use, quick and much less cumbersome than PC Express. Staff are pleasant and it doesn't take long to have the groceries brought to the car. Now for the negative side: Better make sure to check your produce. The last two visits, the grapefruit were both moldy on the outside and so dry inside, I threw them all away. The oranges also showed some mold and were soft, but some were salvageable. Today's strawberries were moldy and obviously old. In fact, I think someone must have tried hard to pick the worst looking strawberries available. The staff member today tried to convince me that emails regarding substitutions aren't sent out (they are), I didn't receive any kind of receipt either via email or in person and was told they don't have them when the groceries are brought out. I have no way of knowing, so far, of a no charge or credit for the substitutions I didn't accept. There has been no up to date email as of 7:46 pm this evening after picking up groceries at approximately 11:00 am. I have been twice told that a manager would call me but my concerns haven't yet been handled. So, while the service is convenient, I would say, buyer beware. Certainly check the quality of produce as it appears they are taking the old stuff and using it for the online orders to get rid of it. Staff training needs improvement.

Lazy staff with snotty attitudes. Went to self checkout and realized i had to pay cash. They self checkout staff were rude and sarcastic implying I'm dumb and annoyed stating.. didn't you see no cash allowed. I replied i did but realized after i only had cash. So instead of taking my cash and calling it a day.. the lady told me to carry everything and go wait in line at a non self checkout till. I said..how about no.. take my cash and let me buy my stuff. They lady couldn't be bothered..and was still trying to explain their system. I really don't care what protocol is. I'm human.. had to change my payment method. Wasn't on purpose.. but yet instead of finalizing my purchase..they lady had to go on and on about their protocol. It's not my fault every store is different with their own rules and attitudes. A better store than most... but I'm happily going to shop elsewhere. Walmart felt belittling me by explaining they rules that change weekly.. was more important than finalizing my transaction. So Walmart can self suck themselves.... keep your stupid rules... hide all your baskets and continue to belittle their customers. I'll go shop where the company appreciates their customers and actually would rather want my buisness. Terrible... and i was literally just praising the store moments prior to this situation. Well done rude asian lady with glasses who has markings on her throat. Shame on you!!

I usually do t do bad reviews because then it stays, but this was enough. I actually regret the day I got their Mastercard because it’s been just one issue after another and takes up so much time and energy to call customer support and get things fixed. 1) last year when I made the card I shopped for $200 and they said they ll send the card in 2 weeks which they didn’t, and I couldn’t pay without the card is what they told me, left the country for a bit and they thrashed my credit score for $200 late payment, which was their fault because I did t get the card. Anyways, they slashed my credit score by a 100 for $200 . Got that fixed after so many calls to custo support. 2) then I buy this echelon bike and they promised a 3 month subscription but my credit card was charged after just a month. Again calls and emails to custo support and finally fixed it after a lot of comms (this was directly echelon so Walmart didn’t even help here) 3) lastly they have overcharged me for the same order and now I’m sitting once again, calling custo support, trying to fix a problem. The order came with an open box (I have pictures) which I let go to avoid the same loop. After this issue is solved I’m gonna cancel my rewards card and never shop here again. Really bad service and a serious waste of time and energy, calling them and getting things fixed after every purchase.

I was disappointed quite frankly. I was principally checking for 3 items, 1 figurine in the Toy section for a friend's son (something that I understood was ill-frequently if ever actually in stock in any of brick-and-mortar store given the last time I had seen a listing for such — at the Garden City store — I rushed straight down only to find it had been some kind of computer error) and 2 things for myself (a pair of underwear and a seasonal rain jacket). The problem was not that the items were not in stock, which could happen at any time anywhere. The problems were that in all 3 departments, in more than 90 minutes, I could not find a single staff person at all and that all 3 areas looked like cyclones had hit. The Toy section in particular was in sore need of help and I spent 40 minutes re-shelving items to their proper places in 2 aisles without making a dent in what needed to be done or attracting any staff attention. I did manage to help 3 harried moms. Karma sadly did not provide me any of the help I needed in both other sections so I left frustrated, without even being able to find out if the items I wanted, listed on the website, were only temporarily out of stock and could be ordered or not. I don't know if I'll try again unless I hear from others that the store has improved markedly.

Customer service here is horrible. Came in with a receipt for a cooler which I changed my mind on. It was bought a couple of weeks earlier never used nothing wrong with it. The customer service rep started ringing it up only to tell me “I can’t return it because it was bought from another wal mart and it’s not in our system, so you have to go back to the original store for this”. I left the store and decided to go back as I was fuming now. I started to call other wal marts to see if this is their policy on these sorts of things and they told me the guy should have no problem returning my product and giving me a refund. My upc code matched the one on receipt as well. The guy lacks basic communication and customer service skills. I called 3 wal marts that agreed with me that I should be able to get refund. I then asked for a manager and the guy gave me attitude. The nerve of this guy. Well the manager had no issues at all giving me my refund and actually seemed very easy to do. I want to put in a complaint to the stores general manager and have this guy removed from customer service.

My wife and I have been using this Walmart as our home base store for years. Unfortunately this will be changing soon. The Walmart Regent has declined in appearance and service so drastically that we will no longer be shopping there. The parking lot especially in front of the store is covered in litter. The store no longer has changing rooms. Instead the staff assures you that you can return any garments that do not fit, and when you try to do so you find that the customer service counter is closed at 8:00 pm even though the store is open until 10pm. The store is in disarray such as clothing not folded or intems abandoned in random spots. I do not believe this is caused entire by customers, but the lack of servicing. I used the restroom while I was there and the state of the facilities were atrocious. It's sad to see a neighborhood staple decline in such a way. Unfortunately these are the reasons that we will no longer be using this store and I urge people to find another Walmart or store until this one can be addressed.

We placed an order for some pictures online and had them set for pick up at this location. Received the confirmation that they were ready for pick up. Went to the store and the employees working the electronics desk couldn’t find the order. After 15 minutes of them looking lazily, they giggled while telling me that they just aren’t here. I also got the Same treatment at the customer service desk when I was trying to find a solution to this issue. All they said was we had to call a toll free number to get things fixed. I ended up calling the number and they said it can only be done at the store level. It’s now been 2 days of trying to even just cancel an order and it has been the single worst customer service experience of my life. I would never recommend anyone go to this location as they don’t care at all about basic customer service and are incredibly unorganized. Beware at all cost

Every time I visit this Walmart I am less impressed with their customer service. Their price match policy was a nightmare when they had it and now they don't even bother. When prices are wrong on the shelves it's an absolute nightmare to get an adjustment. And now there no receipt return policy has added to my list of frustrations. It's not often I have an item I need to return without a receipt but I just tried to return an item worth $30 that I received as a gift and was told absolutely no. No exceptions, no consideration, no offer for exchange nothing. The lack of customer service Walmart offers it's consumers is continually disappointing and I have now decided to take my business elsewhere. I fully understand that illegitimate returns are an ongoing issue, especially in our city, but as somebody who does them so occasionally to be flat-out denied is very frustrating.

Customer service decided to single me out and harass me, most likely saw my braids (im indigenous) and decided to harass. The dude was busy talking to one of the tellers did a double take on me and basically ran. I wasn't even past the Customer service desk, A good 15-20 feet away from the door before the Customer service rep ran up to me and grabbed my bags demanding that i show them my receipt (i dont have to show them anything). Almost ripped my bags that i just bought and almost assaulted me by almost grabbing my backpack and yanking on it. Good thing he didn't or else there would have been a customer service rep knocked out on the floor. Why do you teach your customer service to harass paying customers like that. Maybe if he was standing at the door and politely asking people for their receipt and not just me i would have gladly showed him my receipt.

First off parking lot is disgusting. All cart corrals are right beside themselves on the west side of thr parking lot... none on the east side. This means there are shopping carts all over the parking lot, busy sunday only 2 actual cashiers working. Was told 3 times to goto self checkout, with my full shopping cart of groceries. Which myself and the 6 other customers in my line declined. No greeting from the cashier. Didn't ask for my payment method. No have a good day. Nothing. Inside of store looks similar to the parking lot, product is all over not very clean. 8 people waiting for customer service only 1 person working. All on a Sunday at noon. Bathroom was just as dirty as the rest of the store. Take the trip to a different location. This one isn't worth it anymore

This is probably the worse Walmart I've been to. The store is usually in dirty and many of the displays or items are in a rough state. The product is not the best for choices and same for the meats, they're often not stocked or the vegetables are past their life and are still being sold at full price. However, the staff is a whole new level or disappointment. The main concern I have is when I had issues scanning a package of noodles, the person at the self check out decided to help my stabbing her pen through the packaging and proceeded to scan the broken items. I even told her that she punctured the food and packaging with her pens. Completely disgusted with the attitude and considerable amount of disrespect this person had.

7:40 am - stopped in after work to grab a few items I wanted and then decided to head to electronics. I have a wide interest of topics to shop for and only left with 3 items, here's why. Imagine an "Indian" (Native) getting racially profiled by an Indian (East). I was inspecting streaming gear (lights, cameras, mics, etc) headed over to games to see what's on sale, went to the movies, which is where the employee pretended to organize something in the same area as me. I was looking for a movie or two to enjoy on my day off, and decided to buy the items I had in hand and leave. I was probably going to look at clothing next then some groceries after that.

This is for the online department. Worst experience ever. Ordered a product on April 16th was supposed to be shipped April 19th. According to the Walmart app my game was picked and ready to ship. That's where it has stayed. Forever pending. Two weeks later and I have spoken with 4 reps through chat, 2 over the phone and even one manager in person at this location and no one has a solution for me. Something as simple as honouring my sales price and allowing me to buy at the store and return the online one when it finally arrives is no solution apparently. I am beyond frustrated and extremely disappointed with the lack of service. Shame on you Walmart

The worst shopping experience ever at a Walmart. No dressing room. Why should I have to waste my time to bring back a piece of clothing that might not fit? Absolutely thoughtless on walmarts part. And their cosmetics and drug departments are separated from the rest of the store, and you can’t just walk out with a bottle of preparation H, you have to pay for it there. Funny they give you a bag there but not at the front checkout. Now that’s a thought, get all my products and go to the drug dept last and they will supply bags and bag it. This is the worst Walmart in Winnipeg. I guess they don’t trust any of the locals. Why aren’t they complaining?

I give up in Walmart Regent..the store is disgustingly filthy with unorganized stock. I was there today and asked 5 employees very very nicely who were talking about non business where something in toys would be...Pokémon cards...and they just pointed and go find it. Entrance was littered with garbage we had to walk through. I had to go to customer service on 3 articles that were wrong and no one even understood what an extended warranty brochure was when I tried to buy an electric toothbrush. No code for prices being wrong. Bathrooms were FILTHY. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Store should be shut down or at least cleaned .

Why do your employees have to bother customers about having a receipt for reusable bins they bring in?? 18/04/2022 Came to shop here and was pestered by one of your employees (Short, Glasses, Yellow Vest, working in the front checkout) to show him the receipt for a reusable Walmart bin I purchased on a previous date. I had the receipt with me, but I would've been unable to prove I purchased it if I didn't have the receipt with me. Do you really expect every customer to keep the receipt for the "REUSABLE" bin they purchase? Please train your employees to be more respectful... It was upsetting to waste my time with something so pointless.

I live nearby and always avoid coming at this location. Today, was my second time in 2 years coming here. Last time staff members kept on giving me wrong info on my online pickup and for 3 days they kept saying tomorrow, tomorrow, when the email sent to me said, pickup’s ready. This time the attitude of employees was over the board. I just dont understand why can’t they be little nicer. I left all my stuff, might have to do a pickup again for my vacuum. Staff members were really unprofessional and had no knowledge of any of my questions, neither did they try to find from their superiors

A Christmas Miracle! I went to buy a fake Christmas tree, but wasnt super excited about the options. As i browsed the store, i saw a display tree that was perfect! I joked with the nearest employee if it was possible to buy that display and to my pleasant surprise, Kanchan (my christmas angel) made a couple of phone calls, and sure enough about 5 min later, Kanchan started packing up the display for me!! Unbelieveable service! She was so friendly and patient. Im so thankful for Kanchan; she represented Wal-Mart so well, and i will be going here for anything i can! Merry Christmas !

This Walmart is one of my preferred locations. Not only because its closest to me but because I never have problems when I go. The odd time they'll be out of stock. Go earlier in the day to avoid that. I went late, close to 930-10 & half of everything on my list was either sold out or not the right size. Like I wanted the small 77 cent mild GV salsa but they were all gone, so I went with the 2.77 bigger one. I wanted the 15 pack mini Pepsi cases but none. So I got the 24 of regular sized cans. Casing point, go early to avoid disappointment. As with any Walmart! Lol

I had an excellent experience in the Walmart electronics/photo department last week Thursday I asked for help with downloading my photos and going through the steps to get them printed. The staff person was very polite, respectful and helpful. When I brought my receipt to the desk to have the photos actually developed, I was pleasantly surprised to have another staff person tell me that he didn't have any orders at the moment so would be able to fill my order immediately. I was thoroughly impressed and grateful for the excellent and friendly service.

This receipt checking is getting ridiculous. Why does it now take 10 minutes just to leave your store? Last I checked this isn’t Costco! I remember a time where someone scanned your items and then you as the shopper checked to make sure there weren’t any errors. Now not only are we forced to scan our own items but you also don’t trust I’m doing a proper job. I’m not interested in proving that I did your job for you. You want your customers to be the cashier as well now since your large corporation refuses to employ them it seems.

Last night (14-04-2022), around 11pm, we have faced serious discrimination from one of the male employees (about 5ft tall, with glasses, middle age) here, we purchased a suitcase and then went to McDonald’s, and he accused us of stealing the suitcase after we came out of the McDonald’s. He was extremely rude and racist and wouldn’t let us go until we showed him the receipt of the suitcase we purchased from here. We always come here for groceries and we are loyal customers of this store, and we shouldn’t be treated like this.

Ordered a treadmill which site said will be available fir pickup on January 26. After I paid, pickup suddenly changed to February 9. Found the same treadmill available in-store at another area so I tried cancelling my order but app wouldn’t let me. Also found items available in store according to app but when I go there to purchase it, turns out they’re out of stock. Staff at the photo centre and electronics look like they’re having a bad day, trying not to make eye contact, and look irritated when you ask them something.

I think I'm going to switch my shopping place, I would shop here everytime I needed something but at the end this lady would always and I mean always be watching me everytime. I spent so much money here I'm not going to anymore til she is gone. She really loves to watch native people like a cop.when she is gone I might go back but no more. It's always at self check out that this lady is always rude and watches just certain people, all I have to say is this Walmart needs more respectable people working here.

I have not been to a Walmart in probably four years and I needed a new DVD player and I made a list of other odds and ends that I could use around my home. I arrived at 7 AM had excellent help in the electronics department got my DVD and everywhere else I went in the store looking for my items all the staff was friendly and bent over backwards to help me. I am beyond impressed I think this is the best customer service experience I’ve ever had thank you Regent St., Walmart and keep up the great work.

Good selection of a wide range of items, with very low prices overall. The grocery selection is not as deep as Superstore, but pretty good overall, and on a few items they have better prices. Produce is hit and miss. Cleanliness can vary depending on when you visit, but usually not too bad. It can be extremely busy at times, and I hate shopping here when it is, but it's pretty good the rest of the time. Not uncommon for them to be out of stock for something, but that just comes with being busy.

Photo studio employee doesn’t know how to make photos, doesn’t show photo before printing and refuses to re-do. Half of self check outs are always closed- creating lines. Customer service employees are very slow and provide wrong information about availability of product in another Walmart. I drove 30 minutes to another store to get to know that product is not available and their system is never up to date, so they should have called the store before making me drive all the way.

I go into Walmart and never ask a worker for anything the one time I ask I walked up to two women talking they made me stand there until I finally had to Interrupt there conversation and ask if they had something and they just told me no they didn’t ask or go look literally nothing and I never write reviews this is my first time because the works were so rude and inconsiderate. Horrible I didn’t even do the rest of my shopping I left. These two ladies were so inconsiderate.

I am dissatisfied with the updated software for self-checkout. I find it impossible not to get frustrated while items are double scanned, and I constantly have to wait for an employee to assist me. Please adjust the sensitivity of your scanners so customers can quickly and conveniently self-checkout as intended. Also, the updated software has lots of bugs generally, I find. From wrong prices, to missing items. I would watch and listen carefully when using self-checkout.

Horrible service at cashier at Walmart (. Regent Ave) then I went to customer service to complain about cashier , however supervisor Kamal behaved inappropriately too . There was Teacher’s appreciation from August 10 , 2023 to August 23 for 10% off on items . I went on August 19,2023 . I did grocery over 300 dollars . I have shown my Teacher’s ID and driver’s licence to them however they clearly denied to owner Walmart’s permotion .

Since the pandemic, I believe this Walmart adapted to ensure people feel safe coming into the store. Or at least every time I came in. Lot of different departments at this location. Everything is usually in stock. Usually, when I can’t find something it’s in the grocery/ produce section and it’s not out of stock but they don’t have the product I need. Other than that, I’m able to find what I need at this location most of the time.

I went to Walmart on Regent to pick up some dog food that I had ordered online but I had messed up and not done it properly online. A clerk by the name of Corey assisted me near the online section of the store. He was the best grocery clerk I have ever encountered in my life. He was accommodating and friendly and helped me out by getting my dog food from the shelf and helping me check out. Thank you Corey.

All of the bananas are bruised because they lean them against the hard corners of the shelves. I told the manager and produce manager, but they don't care if every bunch is bruised. Absolute trash store. Go elsewhere for your food. They also don't carry the 18 Vita free run eggs anymore. Get your groceries anywhere but here. Unless you prefer your bananas to be bruised every time.

Horrible customer service. I went and tried returning a couple things and the girl standing at the counter said they were closed. How does the customer service close before the store closes? It would’ve taken two seconds to do. Now I have to go there tomorrow and make another trip. Wouldn’t recommend Walmart to anyone. Hours should match each other. Never shopping there again!

Delivery orders are excuses for robbery. Either the workers fulfilling the order or the drivers are thieves. Everything says it's been delivered and the order is completed in full but at least half the order is "missing". Refund requests often don't get approved, I'm guessing because the order says it was fulfilled. Pathetic, worst excuse for delivery service around.

I was very disappointed and distressed to find their was nowhere to sit by the front doors! I'm 74 and often can't stay on my feet for any length of time so previously I would sit at the front waiting for my wife. There were a few chairs a while back. It was too hot today to wait outside. I almost passed out having to stand so long. Where's the customer service?

This place is what a complete store should look like. It has a wide range of products from household items to beauty products to fashion items to toys to some gadgets to groceries, vegetables etc. and the prices are actually good inspire if the current inflation. However I won’t bet my money on their veggies.. All the same they deserve a 5 star.

Rude rude rude "Walmart greeter" spoke to me like I was annoying her! I needed a cart & was told "we don't do that anymore!" I had to carry a 30 kg bag of dog food which ripped open & spilled out. A wonderful customer helped me put a bag around it. A lot spilled out but took it with me anyway. Disgusting customer service! Makes me sick!

One of the finest places to do all the shopping for right from groceries to everything else from a variety of different brands. The best part about Walmart is the quality that they give and their trademark low prices which are truly unbeatable. The staff is also friendly and helping and the store is well maintained and clean.

I had not been to this location for a while, so it was nice to see that the store has been renewed and refreshed. The store appears very clean and well organised, and I was able to find everything I needed. The expanded self-checkouts made finishing up and getting on my way a quick and simple experience.

Debit is down, all the cashiers know and yet the employee at the door doesn't warn anyone. If you're going to have only 1 self checkout area open, open the one with the larger scales as it's a pain to keep shuffling your items from the cart to the scale. It's not pleasant when you have +30 items...

Fitting rooms unavailable for some reason now, my wife had to return clothes bought 3 times in a row now. It's an inconvenience and I don't think we will be spending more time purchasing clothes from this store any longer. Maternity section is poorly marked and the selection is poor.

After looking for help up and down 12 isles. Finally found a staff member. Very friendly and informative. Walmart at least during the holidays season you need to hire more staff. I see seniors looking for help no one is around not good. Or i should be paid for helping them out.

I will never be shopping at the store ever again. In the past the store used to be good, but as of late the level of incompetency from the staff is atrocious, so I am not recommending anyone to shop at this location. Go elsewhere and I’m sure you’ll find better service!

There is a cashier name Arman . He was super helpful with the checkout. I was tight on budget of 100 but bought groceries of 150 . He calculated all the prices and voided some item than made it 98.97 for me with his excellent calculation skill and patience.

Nice and clean, everything was easy to find. The only problem I had was when I went to the sport section to checkout adjustable weights and 3 employees where surrounding me and I am a native man. I bought everything at checkout. So much profiling going on.
