Hani and his team at Showtime recently carried out a full roof restoration and gutter replacement on two of our 70s-built properties in the Hills District, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. Our experience with Hani from initial consultation through to completion of both jobs, was so easy and stress-free. In an industry that unfortunately has been infiltrated by more than a few cowboys, sharks and charlatans, Hani is a breath of fresh air and exemplifies professionalism and integrity at all times. Unlike another roofing company which shall remain nameless, Hani didn’t “BS” us or employ high pressure sales tactics to induce us to accept a ludicrously inflated quote. Instead, he thoroughly explained the process and was able to show us (via drone shots), the exact condition of our roof and what needed to be repaired and/or replaced. This meant that we had complete confidence in the transparency and fairness of the quote, which by the way, was very competitively priced. Despite the weather not being on our side this rainy Sydney summer, Hani’s team carried out all works to a very high and pleasing standard. I can’t stop admiring our beautifully restored roof and gleaming new gutters. I knew Showtime did good work as we had driven around and seen examples of their roof restorations in our local area, but even I was surprised by the level of excellence that was achieved on both of our properties. I, therefore, am very happy to recommend Hani and the highly skilled team at Showtime for all your roof restoration and guttering needs. You won't believe how good your roof and home will look!

Ah well! If you have come to this page, you must be in that desperate situation where you have leaky roof, or it’s damaged, or the Insurance wants you to change your entire roof. Guess what, that was us two months ago. Leaked roof after Sydney Local roofer in Hills area did a roof repair that left more leaks than what they started with. Insurance company, asked for entire roof to be changed and they said the leaks are due to pitch of the roof. In comes Hani. He simply asked us to wait, until he has inspected the roof, before we made any decision as he thought he may be able to help. What started as desperate situation, was resolved within the matter of Days, and no roof change was done. Hani found out all the issues, and prepared a quote for us, explaining each item in details, showing pictures of all the damage and repairs needed. The work resumed as promised, and upon our request, in a short notice, in a narrow window between all the rains we have been having. It was duly completed, place cleaned up, and then came the rains. Hani has regularly followed up with me for three weeks, to ensure there is no leaks. He said if there were any, he will come and fix them. I pranked him on this, and to be honest, had to stop to save the poor bloke a trip! We now have a fully restored roof with new paint, and no more leaks. Great customer service by him and his team, and, the pricing was very very competitive. I would highly recommend him.

Unfortunately my experience with this company was not what I would have hoped for given the amount of money about to be spent. I had to chase multiple times just to get an appointment. Tried to confirm appointment due to poor weather the day before and received no response. After they didn’t show and no communication, I had to chase twice to reschedule. Two hours after the appointment time had passed I again rang to see what what’s happening and to again potentially reschedule. Three days later I am still waiting for a return call. The quality of the work becomes irrelevant if there is zero customer service, especially if you have issues after the job has been completed and you need them to come back. Therefore I would not recommend Showtime based on my recent experience. **Edit. I have no reason to lie in this review. Facts are I had two appointment no shows, both times there was zero communication from your company. I appreciate that this is a busy time and made allowances for that in trying to reschedule even after your second no show. The only communication I received where I haven’t instigated it was coincidentally shortly after posting this review.

Showtime Restorations Managing Director Hani Makki is not only a true gentleman but % Professional. We had a water leak in our roof that has hampered us for several years & after three unsuccessful attempts from local builders to fix it we decided to engage Showtime Restorations. Hani came out on time when he booked us in for a quote which is rare these days when engaging with tradies & quickly put our minds to rest that he & his team could & would fix our leak once & for all. We opted in going for a full roof restoration with gutter guard which we couldn’t be happier with. Hani provided progress aerial pictures during the process allowing us to see exactly what was being done step by step along with the moment they located the hole in our roof. I had been provided an appointment by Showtime restoration for a quote, waited more than 8 days just to get a quote. I did not invite other quotes as I was waiting for Showtime but on the day of appointment, no one turned up as assured having confirmed twice for the same by me. When I contacted them, one Mr Hani assured me again of coming next day 10 am which never happened. It seems they are quite egoistic now having grown some business from scratch and does not bother prospective customers any more. Just by waiting for their false assurance, I wasted many days without an alternate option which has impacted my roof restoration plan. I do not how he gets good reviews with such approach in business. My suggestion to showtime is that you try valuing each and every prospective customer as because of customers, you are what you are today.

I had Showtime quote me on some roofing repointing and a new whirlybird a few weeks back. I was provided with two quotes, including one for more extensive work. The "Small Job Contract" referred to Terms and Conditions which were overleaf or attached. They weren't overleaf nor in the glossy folder which was provided. As I was considering using Showtime I called Hani and asked if I could get a copy, he asked that I sms him my email and he would send them, so I did. After a day I hadn't received them so I followed up with an email, again no response. I called Hani again after two days and he said he would be in the office that afternoon and would send them. Its been a week and still nothing. Very disappointed at this lack of follow through, especially as I told Hani I was going to use them. Naturally I've decided not to now.

I reached out to hani as I had a roof leak and he was very responsive to get his team out to look at it and check. He found a tile to replace and replaced it free of charge. I ended up going with a full restoration but had to wait due to all the jobs he had going on before me but he said if it leaks in the same spot to reach out and they’ll come straight away to do a make safe til the roof restoration. We carried out the roof restoration and it looks amazing it even comes with 10 year warranty which made me feel like this is the right company to go with and I was right. Free quote which is good because other company’s wanted to charge me a call out fee to just look. Hani and his team are very good and I would recommend to everyone, every time I called they answered and I didn’t feel like a nuisance for calling either.

I initially had 2 different companies come to quote our roof. One simply came past, had a quick look and gave me a price. The 2nd were really pressuring to sign. I asked a few friends if they had someone they recommend. We were really impressed with Showtime from the beginning. We felt really comfortable with Hani. He really took time to run us through the complete process. He made us feel included with the process and provided a quote on the spot that was broken down and detailed. Hoping this review benefits either potential customers, or Showtime's quality of work going forward... I looked at a few companies but Showtime & Hani presented themselves, their work, and their quoting with confidence. The reality after the event was completely different - overspray on our rendered walls (that is still there), broken tiles not replaced, broken tiles not repaired properly, leaks from the roof of my garage after Showtime finished their work, gutters left full of debris and broken pieces of tile, etc etc. If you want a quality job, i'd seriously consider looking elsewhere.

Hani finally got around to having staff come & fix our problem, which we very much appreciated in the end...No rain coming inside, "the area" all fixed & re-painted....But the initial work was definitely 5⭐️ Thanks Hani Initially they did a great job on our roof, even 5 neighbours got their roofs done after seeing ours, so they got extra work because of how great oyr roof looked...... BUT we have now been waiting 8 months for my roof they repaired after many phone calls, to have replaced tiles & capping re-painted .. STILL WAITING for the painting to be done.

Hani is very professional and a very patient man. I have been in contact with him since April this year, but needed to wait for other trades to not use my roof for plumbing and electrical work. I had a major leak in my roof and the water was coming through the ceiling which had damaged my bathroom ceiling and the lounge room ceiling. Hani provided an excellent quote that was competitive and of a high standard. Although the bulk of work was conducted in a good timeframe and to a high standard, I was assured that valley clips would be installed to mitigate future blockages. It took some weeks until the Showtime team came back to address the valley clips but ultimately, the end job was very good. I would recommend the Showtime team for a good job on all aspects of roof work.

Hani and his crew were very professional. From the first meeting and quoting through the whole restoration process and then to the cleanup. Tuma and Michael were meticulous. An eye for detail & clean. We recommend them highly. We had heard some horror stories from relatives when they had work done in the past (not with showtime). From the movement I met with the business owner and he explained explained how his company has its own full time employees I was confident this is the company I wanted to do my roof repairs and respray work. Showtime just finished our roof restoration on our 3 storey terrace at Paddington. They were a pleasure to deal with and really considerate of our neighbours and pedestrians on a difficult job. Very disappointed - the job has been left unfinished as they hadn’t ordered the right leaf guard. They were paid in full and are still refusing to come back to do the leaf guard, despite multiple very polite phone calls over the last 6 months. Feeling scammed. (Edited to add - happy to remove or change this review if the problem can be remedied as we were otherwise very happy with the job).

Never turned up at agreed time for quote. Waited for 2hrs last Thursday and no show. Spoke to Hani the Tuesday prior and lined up the quote. A little put off when a company answers their listed phone number with just a hello and you have to ask if this is showtime and ask who you are speaking to.

I have used this company for roof restoration , they give you a 10 year warranty on their work , as soon as a leak occurs they do not answer their calls or sms and don't bother coming to fix the problem. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want a headache., or a legal case.
