There are sailboats that wouldn't have gone out in today's weather. We've had some roof leaks that have been progressively causing problems. Inspections in the past have always been quick, and only "minor" patch-ups required. The damage kept appearing though. This crew came out, identified where the problems were, showed us what they were, and then organised a date to actually fix them. They were meant to arrive at 7am. It's been bucketing rain on and off for the past few days. Sprinkling all night, I was expecting a phone call at just before 7 to say they couldn't come because of the weather. 7:05, and there's a knock on the door. On the roof. Rain. Off the roof. Sunshine. Back on the roof again. New roofing. New gutters. New flashing. Insulation. And, an attention to making sure they actually did what was needed to fix the problem, not just what was on a list. George and his crew absolutely broke their backs today, and actually finished the job in less time than I was able to put together an Ikea bedframe (I'm still working on it). I hope I don't need them anytime soon, but when I do, they'll be the first ones I call.

Auscity plumbing came to save the day! Had a gushing faucet that wouldn’t turn off right before the long weekend. The team at Auscity plumbing had fantastic communication for the whole journey, understood the severity of the issue and were able to come in a few hours to resolve the issue. The plumber who came was truly above and beyond - the off switch for the water mains was behind a locked door. He was so committed to resolving the issue he was going to fix the faucet with the water gushing (and get soaked in the process!). Thankfully we found a key to the door to turn off the water main and all was resolved super quickly. Highly recommend Auscity Plumbing for any plumbing issues!

George is a “can do” man! Today George installed flashing around a skylight and sealed an exposed seam in our box gutter. His communication was excellent- he jumped up on the roof, accessed the situation, took photos and carefully explained what he understood to be the issue. He quoted me and said he could fix it straight away. We shook hands and he got on with the job. He took photos of the works he completed and stepped me through them. I paid him and a copy of the invoice was emailed through to me before I got back to the office! We had some damage to an old roof that was a risk to those walking past the front of the house. When we called to make an appointment, even though they had a full day, they made time for us to repair the immediate issue and remove the danger. They then came back to do a great job for a more permanent fix that was both more robust and aesthetically appealing than the old section of the roof that had been damaged.
