Went there for lunch and it was outstanding! The food had the right amount of everything which made it great. I really recommend for anyone to go to this store for lunch. But what's even better is that they have a Halal meat butchery and a wide amount of products such as Turkish tea, Coffee, spices and a lot more.

The buffet has 9 options. All were bad. The rice in the biryani was burnt. The tandoori chicken was dry. But the kicker is how expensive it became. You can get much better food of the same quantity for less. Also, it made me sick. Would NOT recommend if you wish to not spend an evening on the toilet.

Great meal. Varied flavours. Well prepared. Very tasty. Bought enough for lunch and supper for $14. But go farther in and you'll find a meat counter, mid-eastern groceries, refrigerated section, sweets, and more. Store is clean and clutter free. Second time visiting and it won't be the last.

Looking for Lebanese cheese-sharkish. Website said that it could be ordered online. Asked in store and was rudely questioned what it is. Was told with much attitude they have never sold this even when I mentioned is online. Their loss... lost a potential customer and word of mouth.

Halal butcher shop that has really good quality meats. They also sell a lot of different ingredients you might need for South East Asian and Middle Eastern cooking. Check out the back section, they always have some unique and seemingly random products (hair oils, shampoos, etc)

"I love this place. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed specially Kenhan and they have a great and fresh all types of meat. The food is tasty when it fresh and I definitely recommend it to anyone who prefers to eat fresh meat(chicken, beef, veal, and goat).

Multicultural market and well organized. Lots of interesting stuff that you barely can find in another store. The price are very similar to other stores in the city. They sale bakery as well I will try it next time. They have fresh halal meat and chicken as well.

This market has some Indian and Arabic food items which is a great for professionals working in this area. It would be good if there were some more options rather than one type/brand. There’s many different varieties/types and brands of rice.

Prices are higher than other middle eastern grocery stores in Ottawa. Recently shopped and I was not even given a receipt to check the product prices that I paid double. I wish I’ve asked for it but I was assuming they put it in my grocery

The lady working the cashier needs to be replaced. I ask about a potentially expired item, she says "I don't know, if you don't want it, return it". Afterwards, she makes up a story about the expiry date which ends up being not true. After

Have been getting my halal groceries here for nearly 2.5 years. One of the cleanest stores I've been in, always well stocked, friendly service and during Covid they've been very mindful of social distancing protocols. Definitely recommend.

Shirin market is very impressive. It has been improving over the years and only getting better. They basically have all the essentials you need, from meats, to spices, to desserts, to pastries. The food they make for their buffet is great

Shirin Market had its good days. The service is going downhill everytime I visit. The butcher at the shop is rude and unskilful. It wasn't like that until recently. The owner is a very nice and polite guy and so is the lady who cooks the

A supermarket that provide you everything you from Turkeia, Indian and Pakistani. Loved the diversity of products. Fresh food, canned food, authentic additives and don’t forget the tea and coffee cups from Turkeia. Spotted a Samovar.

My review is for the Turkish Pide only. I can't speak for the meat section or the grocery store much as we didn't do any shopping, we simply visited because we really wanted Pide and we are glad we did. Very flavourful and authentic

Shirin Market is a Turkish managed grocery convenience store, where you can find a range of middle eastern and ethnic food and ingredients, breads, canned goods, frozen items and much more. The shop also includes a section for fresh

A small shop offering a variety of mostly Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food items. The meat section is good. They also carry fresh baklava and Afghan breads. The lady at the counter said they also sell fresh samosas at times.

My go to place for fresh meat (chicken/beef/lamb) and ethnic products (Turkish/Lebanese/Arabic). Also they have prepared food that is delicious around lunch time. Prices are very fair and even cheaper than the big chains

A good place for middle east and far east ingredients. Fresh foods and shelf stable. Friendly staff and helpful. Its in a busy little mall but worth a visit if you are looking for that hard to find ingredients.

  • Hakan

It feels pretty good to find a clean store as well as good customer service and fresh food. Thank you guys for improving the store so well that gives you a clear idea that you found a store you can trust.

Good, clean place. It also has a butcher shop inside that sells all types of halal meat. Staff is friendly and it has everything I need like all kind of spices, rice, floor, oils, jams, heena, naan etc.

  • Mehdi Sheikh

It's a small store in a strip mall with a decent selection of middle eastern and South Asian products. Has a halal butcher too. Prices are quite high. Almost everything was $1-$3 higher than elsewhere.

My daughter wanted Iranian "lavashak" (dried fruit) and I was so happy they sold it here! Otherwise I would have had to go all the way downtown to get it. Very convenient and great selection!

  • Nadin sy

Lovely little store, it's jam packed with stuff! And the staff are so nice and friendly. It's a great place for many Middle Eastern, Turkish, South Asian, and even a few North African goods!

  • Ali Diab

What an amazing Middle Eastern store! It's beautifully organized and the meat is always fresh! People here are nice and they really form a relationship with their customers! Love it!

The lunch buffet is awesome, it has that homemade factor in the taste that can get lost in bigger restaurants. The hot sauce is a must try, very sweet and spicy.

  • Chand P

Good collection of food items but new owner is not honest about price and when you ask freshness of prepared food. Staff in meat department is really helpful

  • Ali Mahmoud

Avoid if you like Lebanese food. I was super happy to see a middle east market in Kanata so I bought some Kishk, Zaatar, and some Turkish meat pies.
