Was there last night - super busy (to be expected at this time of year) but their was about 4 people involved with our order and we had a play station card that I paid for - get home, and it's not there. Check the receipt - yep, paid for it. No where to be found. Ultimately, I should have checked but in my opinion - they should hand the gift card right to you after being put through - like they used to do with gum or candy bars. Because now, it's no where to be found at the cash / store and "nothing they can ". Luckily it was only for $25 but still - my bad but just a warning / reminder to anyone else - if you grab a gift card, hand it right to the cashier and take it right back. Too easy for it to dissapear in the mix of all the groceries going through. Cashiers should hand it right to the customer after activation. I think my cashier even signed me up for the credit card insurance without asking. she handed me something to sign in a hurry and I thought it was for the CC purchase but in hindsight - i think it was signing up for the CC insurance that I always decline. She tried to cancel my transaction because she forgot to put something through and started pressing things on the interact pad. The transaction actually DID go through so we had to do a second payment for the items that were missed. But I think while that was happening , she pressed the accept button on the CC insurance. It's a busy time of year and there were multiple cashiers coming and going in a hurry for our one order but it's a good reminder to keep calm and organized and your eyes on your things and what's happening instead of getting caught up in other people hustle and bustle.

There is no reason why an employee should be aggressive with any customer, I had a slip-up on my part entering Walmart from the cart bay. There were no signs saying that I couldn't go through that way. So, wide open, I decided to take the walkway. As I was entering Walmart through the cart entrance, a Walmart employee said to me in a very aggressive and bullish way that I couldn't go through this entrance. Even if I wasn't supposed to go through that way, there is a polite way of saying so, especially to a guy who pays his salary. He was very aggressive and had a genuine bully-type attitude. This all happened today between 2 p.m. and 2:57 p.m. I complained to the manager about this incident, and she asked me if I knew this employee's name. I told her no. She said she was going to look into it. An excellent manager, and Orleans Walmart is lucky to have her as an employee. As I went out, I asked the cart man his name. He told me his name was Garry; now, is this his real name? Who knows? And who cares? The point is that I don't take anything personally; if he can do it to me, he can do it to others. I know the types. I worked with them for 40 years as a supervisor, and it wasn't for a local grocery store. Other than that, it's a top-notch place; my wife and I love going to Walmart in Orleans. You get a 5-star anyway. I can't fault the other workers for the actions of one individual.

My husband and I always shopped here because it was conveniently located close to home. Over the last year the service has gone continuously downhill, rude employees, unwillingness to help customers. Last week we asked a question at customer service, we did have some items in our cart but those were the items we were asking about, one was unpriced and the other opened package. We arrived at the counter and the lady was beyond rude. She couldn't believe we had approached the counter first without paying for said items, and vocally said so, but isn't that what you go to customer service for? Then when my husband was finished asking the customer service agent came around the counter to follow him to make sure he was heading back in to the store part and not out the door?? Like really, this is the way we treat people now, just for asking questions? So needless to say, I now drive to trainyards where you can ask questions to the the much more pleasant staff who DO NOT treat ypu like criminals for doing so nor do they follow you back to make sure you are not going to make a dash for the door. I couldn't believe the way this woman treated us, she should not be working in customer service. Terrible! I will spe d my money in a nother store where I will feel comfortable to do so.

This location has gone very downhill. Specifically the customer service desk staff. I waited in line for over 10 minutes with a Ty rude lady who worked there (Zada? Yada?) literally bumping into me with her body and carts she was moving. After over 10 minutes of waiting she was asked to help us at a different cash. By this point there were over 10 people in line behind us and MANY more had come and then left. We were told we couldn’t do an online return and could not even get store credit for the store brand “satisfaction guaranteed” item that was new with tags. If you don’t drive and you subscribe to their subscription service and have limited access to the store this was upsetting. I am glad it was a light item but I’m not sure what they wanted me to do … keep it for the “several weeks” it might take for them to accept online returns again? I order hundreds of dollars online each week via the subscription service from this location. I cancelled the service the second and I left and based on other reviews here the customer service and store location has deteriorated very quickly with the quality (incompetent) staff being hired.

I encountered the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I bought 3 dozen eggs around 3:40pm on 11-28-2023. I noticed in the car that 5 dozen had been scanned. I went back to get 2 of them returned. Customer service asked "why" and then I explained it. Then, while she reimbursed one, I said that two should be returned. So far everything is normal. But she said to me "stop talking" in a very rude way that I couldn't understand. This was my first customer service experience that both asked questions and silenced me. In other words, it taught me that the time to talk and remain silent is determined by customer service. Even though I told her that I was a customer, her attitude did not change. I asked her name because the card with her name was covered. She didn't answer. I reported the situation to Manager Tanya. She also did not want to give her name. I recommend you to be careful and check your receipts after shopping. Be careful when talking to customer service, you may be scolded at any time. Thank you Walmart...

Extremely poor service at customer services for returns. I talked to young thin girl in the afternoon, mostly from middle East, wearing Hijab. I was there to return some product because of price difference. Her response was price is correct but you pick wrong product, even though, I selected correct product. Customer knows, what they are picking. Very rude in answering. I just said service at Walmart, South keys are good and her response was, " why you are here?. Go to south keys". I talked to manager and asked the schedule of regional manager. Manager response was, she don't know the schedule of regional manager. I asked for contact number and I was provided call center number. I also noticed during couple of visits that customers are waiting in long queue to return the product and only one person provide the service. I don't understand, why Walmart is hiring someone and put at customer service when that person do not care for customer and even not interested in customer services.

I am done with ordering groceries at this Walmart for pickup. Every time I get there I either can't get through on the phone, get cut off or wait in the car for a half hour or more. Yesterday I waited 20 minutes and noticed that 3 people who arrived after me had already been served. I asked one of the loaders what had happened to mine and was told he was sorry and would do mine next. Well I waited another 15 minutes with still more people coming and leaving so I went and banged on the door. As I looked through the little window I could see four kids sitting around looking at their phones that's when I got mad and yelled at the guy who came to the door. At this point I was the only customer left and still no service. After I got mad it still took almost 10 more minutes for it to be done. The same has happened to my wife at this location a few times. I WILL NEVER GO TO WALMART AGAIN I'LL STICK WITH LOBLAWS SUPER CENTER FROM NOW ON.

Worstt experience!! Associate named Vinita made us feel dumb and poked us for the transaction we made. She made us feel like we are stealing I mean come on Mrs or Ms. Vinita why would I steal a loaf of bread or a Cilantro? Preety hilarious eh? At the end of the transaction, she paused my transaction and checked everything over if I legit scanned everything or not. Also there was a different price on the shelf and technically you are supposed to get the price on the shelf and she refused, blaming us in back that we should be checking the right UPC me being a customer, since when it is my responsibility to check the price and then shop?? What and why are these employees are even working for then if all the responsibilites fall under the customer. She was very disrespectful and being so nosy. I want an action to be taken. Literally ruined my entire day.

Went through cash #4 last night around 7:15pm. After giving the cashier my reusable bags, he told me "you can pack them too"! I stared at him for a moment because I couldn't believe he told me to pack them - if I wanted to pack my own bags I would have gone through the self checkout! I said that I'm unloading my cart and he said "well I'm scanning"! I asked about the policy for packing groceries and he told me he has a choice, I wanted to clarify what he meant so I asked him if he meant that he had a choice to pack bags or not. He said he was told in training that he has the choice to pack groceries or not so he doesn't have to, but that I was lucky he's so nice! Is this really the kind of "customer service" that Walmart wants to be known for? Retail is my career and this experience was disgusting. Walmart do better!!!!

6 people just standing around the electronic department, was simply trying to ask about a laptop that was listed as in stock online but was unable to find ANY laptops on display. Staff couldn't care less about helping customers even of you paid them too (thought that was their job already). Call line was no help as the electronic department has their phone off the hook and kept going right to tone. Needless to say, I literally dropped my entire cart worth of items in the electronic department and walked out of the store. With the way the store has been declining, I think this will be my last trip to Walmart, I'll shop 100% online and local. For a store who loves people's money, you sure have a weird way of letting people purchase things.

Went to return an online order which according to Walmart could be returned easily to store. I was told I couldn't without any explanation why. Was also told to call some phone number for assistance but when I told them there is no such number on my order they just shrugged without even trying. The irony of me standing there getting no service at all and staring at a sign saying "customer service is our #1 priority". Pretending to care sounds more like a priority to them. Great thing there are plenty of businesses out there that actually care.

Order my groceries online for pickup between 5 and 6 pm. At 5:12, I call to advise of my arrival and am asked for my name and parking number. After a 30-minute wait, and with so many people arriving after me having received their groceries, I call back to be told that my name doesn't appear on their queue, that my order isn't ready and that I'll have to come back in 1 hour. After almost 2 years, I've always given Walmart Orleans the benefit of the doubt, even with several errors on their part. Last time, I'm done!

I was helped by Swani in the customer service department and she went above and beyond what was needed to make it right for me as a customer. She was fair, followed company policy while showing humane qualities and recognizing the customer as a person. In spite of a hectic post Christmas time, and many customers waiting, she managed to be quick yet courteous while training fellow employees. A real team member and a loyal employee. She even refused a gift when I came back to thank her. I was thoroughly impressed.

The store itself is fine, regular and typical Walmart at every location; sometimes out of stock of products more frequently than other locations. Online ordering/pickup service isn’t great, website never works properly; area for pickup is not easy to find, I ended up having to go inside to ask customer service where it was located. The number that is given to call for the pickup is often out of service or simply drops when you are trying to call. Canadian Superstore online/pickup service is much better.

Everytime i use the self checkout the ladies target and harrass me checking what i scanned. Never missed anything. I have had enough of this racial and ageism treatment at this store. Today i had only scanned two bags of chips and this employee comes over to check i had scanned ... i was so embarrassed and humiliated again at this store i left about 120 bucks worth of milk and froozen food and walk out. paid double the amount of a regular calendar to have it made as an express calendar online, but what I received was nothing but loose pictures in an envelop.. nothing was put together.. tried to call but no one ever picks up.. go in person and everyone is clueless... Horrible customer service.. Walmart clearly don't care about their customers if they are willing to let their customer service quality drop this badly.

Was at a different Walmart and they told us to come here because Nintendo switch bundle with one game was available here. One employee told us they didn't have the bundle we wanted, but MIR noticed our confusion and took the extra time to ask if he could help us. His attentiveness and thorough work got us the Nintendo Switch bundle we needed when someone else would have turned us away. Thanks Mir!

Why do the self check out employees always stare and come closer to the cashes we’re selfchecking out like we’re about to steal under their watch. Relax I like to do my self scanning at my speed and my time no I’m not interested in a Walmart rewards Mastercard if that’s your little excuse to come over and say that to me. Like no I don’t need you to stand there watching me scan my stuff.

This is a big Walmart in comparison with other Walmart departments in Ottawa. Many items that are on sale are available. Also, this Walmart is very clean and convenient. It has the biggest clothes department in comparison with other Walmart superstores in Ottawa. Moreover, it sells well-known brands for prices lower then at Amazon. After renovation in 2023 it became even better.

Strolled into Walmart on a Tuesday afternoon looking to purchase my first ever iPhone, went the electronic section and was helped by this beautiful young lady Ginger, what a great name! Then when going to get my groceries, a young a man named Xavier in the produce section provided with great help in choosing what to feed my children. These fabulous workers deserve a raise!

My wife and I visited Walmart Orleans Sunday Sept 10th. Our experience with Jessica on cash was far different than normal. She actually asked how we were, what our plans were for the day and proceeded chat with us. She was quick with her duties, very friendly and had a nice smile and demeanour. Was there in search of a vacuum cleaner. Looked at display ones. Not many in boxes under display. Many missing. Liked and picked up a vacuum from end display. Sign read $98. Took to cash with another item. Scaned vacuum ourself and display showed something like $115. Asked for assistance. Took a return to actual end isle before clerk adjusted price at checkout.

I was checked out at walmart on saturday and had a great experience with coworker Tamana and she is the friendliest person at walmart and my wife and I were scanning an item three times and she helped us and she was very nice. She was pregnant and working alone. Walmart should always respect same like this people and appreciate their work and give them rewards.

Best walmart in orleans. Large store with knowledgeable staff. I only do grocery shopping here because of the friendly staff and I know whatever happens I can get a refund with no argument what so ever. The only negative experience I had here was when a customer freaked out but thankfully staff was able to de escalate and calm down the situation with ease.

The washrooms by all the cashes are to be desired ug! They smell most times I am in there. Biggest thing I dont like is they have doors to the stalls that swing inward and I have to almost straddle the toilette to get in and to shut the door, and if you have any bags in your hands almost impossible to do., could be bigger and doors open outward.

At the self checkout, There’s always a group of employees chatting with one another not paying attention to the customers who need assistance and they are often rude. When shopping in the aisles I can’t tell how many times an employee has pushed past me or wouldn’t move so I could get an item. They certainly do not value their customers.

I love the space! During the worst of Covid my wife and I would go there sometimes to not feel so closed in. Of course as you're walking around you get lots of ideas of something else you "need" :-). Walmart is a good place to shop with variety of products but the lack in employees that you can ask for help make their service horrible and if you were lucky to find one their answer for your question is maybe or I DON'T KNOW. So you have to figure it out by yourself or forget the product and cancel it.

What a mess! The ongoing "renovation" means you can't find anything. What should be in one aisle is two aisles down. Ask the staff and even they don't know. Walmart should have simply shut the store down for a weekend and finished sorting/moving things around. It's a true PITA to step into this store.

April 2023 I don't shop much at Wal-Mart, but this time I found a hard to get item online. Easy and fast to order. I had my items within two hours. The store is not well marked for the location of online orders. After returning to customer service to ask an employee, I retrieved my items quickly.

Terrible customers service at the photocenter. They lost my order and they couldn’t reprint it or give me a refund because of “technical difficulties”. I also ordered express photos for the next business day and it took over 2 weeks to be “ready for pick up”. Terrible! Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Just like any other Walmart. Be warned that their bananas are inferior compared to Food Basics and Loblaws. I've had mine for almost two weeks now and some of them haven't riped yet, so if you're wanting to bake banana bread or the like then you're better off getting your banana elsewhere.

I remember when they used to have staff at the entrance (Wal-Mart greeters) to answer questions and help you on your way. That’s gone. Just a grumpy private security guard with his back to you when you enter, and a suspicious eye on you when you leave. :(
