Super disappointed with this brand! I love supporting local brands and own a few pairs of Fluevogs shoes. The quality this season was horrifying. Glue smudged on the edges of one pair I tried on, zippers were only zipping half way even after ten minutes of fiddling with them. One pair I absolutely loved!! was going to buy them but, while trying them on and tying the shoes the laces broke on both shoes! The quality of shoe laces is horrible. It was so awkward because the employee tried telling me that because of the impact and the way I was tying the shoes that’s why the laces ripped. Finding excuses that it’s not the shoe laces fault even though the shoe laces are made for the purpose to be tide up, the laces should handle some pressure, especially when trying them on the first try. Am I not right?! Anyways, it was such a mess. I just wanted to leave the store. A few days later I found myself still thinking about the shoes because they were on sale for $249 from $399. I thought to myself, you know the shoe laces obviously can be replaced, too bad the store doesn’t carry extra shoe laces (apparently). So feeling a bit bad about breaking the laces I decided to buy the shoes. I called in to put them on hold only to find out the tag on the shoes was gone!! According to an employee the shoes weren’t on sale! So...let me get this straight, the same pair of shoes I tried on cost their regular price, the shoe laces are ripped and they still have them in the store for sale WITHOUT any discount despite broken shoe laces?! Never in my life I’ve had to experience so much disaster with a shoe company.. so much for supporting a “high end” shoe boutique. More like overpriced ALDO. Disappointed but, will be looking online for similar style of boots to buy elsewhere. Not sure I’m interested in supporting this business any longer as well.

All of my life I have hated shopping for shoes. My feet are a hard to find size 11 wide. There are very few options to choose from for women. I have also had to settle for basic black without any unique edge. Today I had my most positive experience buying shoes in my entire life! The Fluevog store is charming and full of good energy and people who actually love their jobs. The eclectic decor and quotes around the store and on the packaging add to the fun. Patrick, Mike and Jessica in particular all contributed in their own way to creating an environment that my partner even enjoyed. Mike had a mountain of boxes of shoes for me to consider and kept looking for the "right one" with me without complaint. I am thrilled with my final selection, my first ever pair of Fluevog's and look forward to many more in the years to come.

Five stars is not enough! I’ve been a Fluevog customer for 3 decades and counting. I’ve only had wonderful experiences shopping at Granville (now Kits) and Gastown all these years. The staff are highly knowledgeable about each shoe family but more importantly they are kind, good people. I always leave with a warm feeling in my heart looking forward to my next shopping experience with them. They are that wonderful! Thank you Chad, Patrick, Ben, Reggie, Trasie, Selena, Dani…. Of course, the shoes are beyond fab-tastic!! I get to wear art on my feet everyday! Thank you John and your team for creating such amazing footwear and accessories and for creating this wonderful culture for ‘unique souls/soles’

Anyone familiar with John Fluevog will already know about this designer's extremely original solution for the most utilitarian of items: shoes. Over the years we've seen very creative examples of women's and men's boots and shoes in general. Now in Vancouver, we have yet another location where we can try on and purchase John Fluevogs. The new store in Kitsilano is spacious, full of light, itself a pallette of vibrant colours in walls and displays, and this definitely allows the shoes to stand out more. As expected, there's a variety of models in colours and textures to satisfy your need to show your own originality. Totally recommend a visit!

Being the owner of a still very well preserved pair of mid-80s Original Swordfish shoes, I can honestly say Fluevog quality stands the test of time, so I've always adored their shoes. The service at this location is just as top notch: I can't recall having such great, personable and attentive client service in a retail setting in a long time. They don't judge you for your wallet, want you to have the best fit for your foot, and are willing to go that extra step (pun intended!) to please you without expectation. Best!

I purchased a pair of Wolverhamptons online and received two different sized shoes. I Immediately called this location and they said it was no problem to bring them back. Unfortunately there were no available shoes in my size in BC. They did however say they could get in contact with a location out of province and have them mailed directly to my house. I received the shoes a week later from Toronto with no issues. I'll definitely be returning to this location in the future.

Took advantage of John Fluevog 's Sarcastic sale for a smoking deal on a pair of Paprika coloured ankle boots. What I like about buying footwear at Fluevog's is I know I am getting quality, something a little different, whether it is the colour, style, my purchase is not going to be seen everywhere ....buying Fluevog ....a delight knowing I bought quality ...8 month warranty on workmanship ...warranty on footwear? that is rare, tells me they believe in their product.

I stopped by last Saturday afternoon to inquire about various shoe protection products. Two male salesmen were helpful, pleasant and well informed about the products. They did not mind in the least when I stated that I would think about it and return if necessary, before closing. They were pleasant, professional and knew the products. A very pleasant exchange. I did return for the product and will be returning. :)

Amazing experience I have had shopping at John Fluvog Granville Location. My close friend referred me to shop here and I was more than satisfied. Customer service from Jodi S and most recently BEN, sales staff leaves a lasting impression for you to feel welcome, get amazing help and find the perfect pair of shoes. Trendy, comfortable, most spectacular shoes ever, compliments galore Fluvogs are fantastic!!!

5* for staff 1* for the product. For $500 i would loved to have a boot that wasnt plauged with defects. My greysons look slick but the heavy brand tag(attached on the zipper?!?) on the side kept unzipping the side zipper and eventually caused it to break. Nothing a little dental floss wont fix though. The staff where amazing but you can only do so well with a poorly designed product.

I love shopping at Fluevog Kitsilano in Vancouver, B.C.. I live in a different part of the province and I travel just to shop this store. Patrick and his staff create a wonderful shopping experience. Every time i go in, its like seeing family and I appreciate the time they invest to assist me in finding sizes and styles. Patrick is a Gem and all the staff are top notch !!!

Just have to say that I’ve always been very impressed with the quality and service at fluevog! This store in particular always goes above and beyond to make me feel like my business is appreciated and they know me when I shop there. Most comfortable shoes ever. At least my last pair were. They also held up to a fair bit of abuse with no problems. Very durable fashionable shoes & boots. I would definately recommend Fluevog shoes to anyone, from outrageous to subtle, there is a wide variety available in-store to try on. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

I just popped in here today for the first time and had to come write a review straight away because the staff were so delightful! I went today to exchange a pair of shoes that I ordered online ( they were beautiful, but to tight) The staff (Patrick) at Granville store was very helpful, polite and knowledgable. I exchanged them with Aquila (black) elegant shoes , they make me feel feminine, and unique. I highly recomend John Fluevog shoes. I love them! ♥️

The only shoes that I ever get complimented on every time I go out, I have many shoes from around the world but for some reason they never get as many complements? Went to the Granville location tonight. Walked in and was completely ignored by all staff. Waited a few minutes while I looked around and still nothing. It was not a busy night either. Clearly judged on my casual attire. Will not be returning which is a shame because I love my Fluevogs

I love FLUEVOG shoes. It’s all I wear. The designs are still conceived for over 50 years in Vancouver by Jonathan Fluevog and team. The staff are professional, courteous and know their products. The vibe of the store and music make for an enjoyable experience.

Attended a fundraising event. Found a nice pair of shoes. Definitely different style can be found here. Which means it won't be for everyone but definitely something to check out if you haven't. Staff were great.

Smaller than their Gastown counterpart but still packed full of amazing footwear. Staff is always wonderful and attentive. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and the shoes make you feel fabulous.

Great customer service, funky store. The designs range from “unique” to downright outrageous, but they’re worth checking out. Prices are high but reflect the quality of the shoes.

Great one of a kind shoes. I really like how their shoes feel when you insert your feet. The heel area cups just nicely. Though a bit expensive, they are well made and wear well.
