So this place came recommended through a Facebook post because they had some specials going on... I visited them on a Wednesday and from the outside I was already confused because there wasn't clear signage that it's a restaurant that only opens at 4pm but you can still go in before that for the "pastisserie". I say "patisserie" in quotations because it was literally just the paying counter for the restaurant... there was maybe 2 pastries in a very small display window. When I asked if they had anything available she said they had everything available but that it would just take 10minutes in order to prepare the order. Thinking I'm going to get fresh pastries, I said no problem. 10minutes later I get my order, get to the car to try them.. they were all frozen still covered in ice, inedible. Thankfully these were just for me and my husband to try and I wasn't bringing them to a party because I definitely would have been embarrassed. On a side note.. the prices weren't that great either... definitely much better patisseries in the west island.

i scheduled a pick up order a day before for 2 MIXED boxes of canolis just incase things sell out and just to give the resto a heads up on the uber app. already paid and everything. At 1:20 it said it was ready. I arrive it’s not ready and waited around another 20 mins, which is fine mistakes happen. once i opened the box it was messy because they weren’t placed properly and they were all the same flavour (original). i called to ask why and they said they gave me what was left. if that’s the case, why not let me know in advance and also i had already paid a day ahead, pre ordered the boxes to ensure i get what i wanted. they knew mixed box of canolis were ordered for today so why not prioritize a paid customer and ensuring they get what they paid for. especially for holidays, it’s really disappointing to get something i hadn’t ordered especially trying to make sure it wouldn’t happen by ordering in advance. No apologies or heads up.

Patisserie Dolce Francesco is a must try. This family owned and run business has been a staple in the West Island, and with reason. We had a party catered and Francesco is an artist with the taste and design. The pastries were fresh and flavorful, the birthday cake was custom designed and decorated by Chef Francesco. We had pasta dishes and both options were delicious and freshly made. The gnocchi with rose sauce are to die for. Homemade gnocchi are always my must have! The pasta salad was garnished with fresh veggies and a light sauce. HOME MADE FOCACCIA! Do not forget to order this. Made with pizza dough and topped with flavorful herbs. Do not miss out. I ordered a variety of panini sandwiches and Francesco made them all using a different topping and mixed variety. If in the area, stop off for a dessert and coffee and stay for the gnocchi! You will not be disappointed.

I came this bakery and I was not disappoint. They have scrumptious cannolis along with wide variety of delectable treats. Looking forward to trying them all LOL Fast and courteous customer service too. I explained I was a first time customer therefore I had a few questions as they have various specials on baked goods. The person I spoke with over the phone was friendly and very helpful/informative. I definitely will be back for more and I highly recommend them. Edit: although as of yet I haven't ordered a full cake I did see pictures on FB and when I was in the shop I saw more cakes.....all I can is OMG!! Absolutely stunning mouth watering cakes!! I stopped by Dolce Francesco’s for a treat. I ordered cannolis (three different kinds) and a lobster tail. Frank was very helpful and polite. He prepared my order on the spot. So far, I have tried a chocolate cannoli and lobster tail. Both were absolutely divine. They were incredibly fresh and loaded with delicious fillings. I highly recommend Francesco Dolce’s, and look forward to trying more of Frank’s delights. Edit Novemeber 2023: Frank is offering daily meal specials for 20-25$, which are enough for at least four people. I gave one a try tonight. Chicken Parm, pasta with rose sauce and dessert (mini cannolis). All were fantastic. Thanks, Frank!

Mini Cannoli, Chicken Parmesan And

Picked up their 20$ Wednesday promotion. This week it was chicken Parmesan, rosé penne, 6 mini canolis. Chicken was really tasty, pasta was a bit too al dente for my taste but still enjoyed it, canolis were yummy too and just the right size for a small dessert. Nice sized portions. The food was hot when I picked up but I'd suggest putting the chicken under the broiler to brown a little that's how we like it anyway. Service was pretty quick, people were polite. Easy to park. Next time we order I'll pick up closer to dinner time instead!

Mini Cannoli

Birthdays, baptisms, holidays, this is definitely my go to place for both meals and desserts!! I’ve tried every lasagna place there is and Frank’s is by far the best. His desserts are always a hit at every event and not only is his food made to perfection but his personality and dedication makes the ordering process a pleasure. He’s reliable and just a simple call puts you at ease that your party will go perfect. If you’re looking for group catering, or just to spoil yourself, don’t look anywhere else, you’ll be saving his number on your speed dial just as I have.

My sister got me a cake for my birthday and WOW! Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The service is impeccable, it is so homey and makes you feel welcomed. The cake was amazing, all my friends and family members agreed that it’s one of the best cakes they have ever had. The design of the cake was beautiful as well. The cannolis on the side of my cake were AMAZING!!! It’s a great value for the price since individual cannolis can be quite expensive on their own. Overall, I am very happy with this restaurant, cake, and service. Thank you!

I used to travel so much farther to find tasty delicious cannoli. Francesco's to me are the West Island's best. I just bought a dozen yesterday to share with my family (children and grandchildren) by socially distanced visits and everyone young and not so young loved them. I ordered by Chat on Facebook and they were ready on time and packaged in the quantities I had asked for. Thanks Frank. I am not one to normally do reviews but I was sure happy to find out about these guys, Let me know if you don't agree.

With a variety of pasteries, baked goods and flavours, Patisserie Dolce Francesco gives you amazing food and it's fresh! I've tried pretty much everything on their menu (through Uber) and I can safely say that this bakery got me through the pandemic. Seriously, I could go on and on about how soft their giant doughnuts are, how flavourful their unique mini-cheescakes are or how addicting their mini cannolis are! Give it a try at least once in your life, it's absolutely worth it!

Ordered a red velvet cake for my daughters bridal shower, arrived lopsided, was courteous to offer me a small credit. Replaced some pastries on my order with something I didn't order, but he insisted, I let everything slide, gave them another chance, ordered a cake for a birthday, quoted me 30 dollars when picked up insisted it was 35. Wanted it for 6 people, it's the size for 4. Need to get their act together. Messing up alot and being aloof about it. Will not order again.

Extremely disappointed. I had ordered a big tray of Tiramisu for take out as I had an event. They assured me that it would be ready for pick-up at 5pm the next day. When i got there no one seemed to know what was going on, nor did he have my order!!!! He showed me a tiny container of Tiramisu and said that was all he had for that day!! Extremely unprofessional, they did not even apologize nor cared. Unreliable.

We had a Staff Appreciation Breakfast catered by Francesco and his team and everyone absolutely loved it! We had an incredible spread of freshly baked croissants, doughnuts, churros, muffins, cheesecakes, and so many delicious pastries! Everything was delivered hot & fresh and Francesco was so accommodating to all our requests! We can’t wait to bring in more of their delicious treats for our next event!

We order their take out meals bi-weekly! And they are the best!! Super value for money and the kids love them! Our favourite is the chicken Parmesan and the cannolis are out of this world.

Service is a definite 5 stars, placed an order online and it arrived at my door within an hour... wow! Cannoli : 4 stars, pretty good for west island but dont be fooled by other reviews saying there the best in Mtl... that is nonsense Donuts: the one i ordered were 2 stars... nothing more Cheese cake : 3 stars... not better than a frozen one from the grocery

I ordered cannolis a few weeks ago that were amazing and filled on the spot and yesterday I picked up 2 tiramisu which were INCREDIBLE! We got them for 2 nights but finished them in one sitting ! At first I thought: one time incident, no problem. Then I found out, this place is pure scam shortchanging their clients for extra profit. The quality is very average anyway. But to screw over customers too when your new inexperienced chefs keep messing up? Three neighbors so far in three months - same issue. No class, no honor. Shame.

Why has it taken me so long to find this delightful treasure. I ordered a lemon blueberry cake for my husband’s birthday and it was so moist an delicious. The blueberries were plump and we could taste the lemon zest in the butter cream icing. 5 stars for quality ingredients, 5 stars for decorative presentation and 5 star for service.

I highly recommend! I've ordered two cakes from Francesco and they are by far the the most deliciously moist cakes I've ever eaten! I've tried many cakes from prestigious pastry chefs and Francesco's cakes are the best tasting, most generous (they're huge) and best priced that I've seen. Truly a hidden gem and a master cake maker!

So as a health care worker. You show your badge and your suppose to get 6 mini cannolis for 6 dollars. Now honeslty when I received the box. I found it cute because it was really tiny. Then when I saw the cannolis. Omg lol even more tiny. But hey for 6 bucks what can go wrong. They still tasted good.

A delightful find. My family has been eating their cakes and pastries for most of our celebrations for a while. They use real ingredients so everything has great flavour and texture. The mini cheesecakes are a fun option too, so you can try different flavours.

These cannolis were huge! If you've ever been to Mike's Pastry in Boston, these are 100% comparable if not better, the cream was not overly sweet and you can taste a hint of citrus, the pastry itself was nice and crispy.

Every time i got pasteries here they were fresh and delicious. The eclairs are HUGE and I mean enormous and they are made with unsweetened whipped cream so they are pretty light despite the size.
