Awesomeness personified! I don't know where to start, its been a rollercoaster ride. We started out in July 2020 to search for our dream home in Orpington. After viewing several properties and several offers being rejected, we finally found our dream home listed with HAART Orpington. We instantly put in an offer and it was accepted by the sellers, so off we go on this crazy journey! Little did we know that the entire transaction would take over 7 months to complete! But all's well that ends well! After our chain breaking twice, and endless sleepless nights, we managed to get our dream house! Harriet Jones, we love you! Having been on with a different estate agent for 6 months and getting nowhere, we were inspired to try Haart after we received such great customer service from Deborah in their Biggin Hill branch. This turns out to have been the best thing we could have done. We found Paul to be professional and helpful. The video Paul made of our home has really helped to showcase it and was something we weren't offered at the previous estate agents. We were also particularly impressed with Kerry and Harriet who have really taken an interest in our property, asking us lots of questions so that they are able to give potential buyers all of the information they need to be able to make a decision. They have been polite, friendly and professional throughout. We had a fantastic number of viewings in just one week which resulted in second viewings and we are now considering offers. All this in one week, when the prior estate agent never even got us as far as a single second viewing! We are absolutely delighted with Haart Estate Agents in Orpington . Our initial consultation with Mr Paul Hayden the Branch Partner. We had just had a less than positive experience with our property at one of Haarts competitors. That experience had left us totally stressed out and frustrated by the lack of proffessionalism and lack of feedback, in fact in the entire 10 weeks with their competitor they never once answered the phones to us. From our very first contact with Paul we felt we were in the hands of total proffessionals who gave us hope that our house would sell and boy did it sell on the very first day. Maisie deserves a medal for all the hard work she has done on this sale. She's dealt with a difficult ex-husband, a buyer's solicitor who has driven us all to distraction with his unnecessary delays, my solicitor who has been only slightly less difficult and me. I suffer with really bad health and she has gone out of her way to ensure that both myself (and my married daughter when I can't cope with the stress anymore) are informed at every stage how things are going. She is always happy no matter how frustrating things have been. In fact she has done a lot more chasing and sorting things out than either of our solicitors have. She's made sure her colleagues at branch are aware of any updates on my case, so that they can give me answers when she is out of the office etc. She always replies quickly to any of my emails asking questions, and although this has been a very unusual sale because of the length of time the solicitors have taken, I would absolutely recommend her to any of my friends and family. She is an absolute star.

We sold our house with the Haart Orpington. At first, we were very happy with the service, however after the house was sold, support was very weak. Our sail was very complicated, the solicitor's company that we were recommended by Haart made our life a real nightmare. Unfortunately, we haven't gotten much support from Haart's team. On another hand, support from the other agency was really great. I was receiving an update (about our sale) from the agency that we were buying from, rather than from the Haart. We nearly went on holiday during the week when our buyer's mortgage agreement was about to expire. We found out about it from another agency. I think Haart Orpington, should spend a bit more time and money to give proper training to the team. And the MOST IMPORTANT – DO NOT USE DC Law, this is a law company that Haart may recommend you to go with. I cannot believe how awful the experience has been.

As a professional buyer for a company I am in contact with many agents on a daily basis. Haarts in Orpington are by far one of the best agents I deal with. Harriett, her manager and team are always very prompt in arranging viewings quickly and when it suits me. Harriett is extremely good at communicating and will always phone back when she has promised. Harriett is always so cheerful and very pleasant to greet me at viewings, she always has full information about the property to hand, every question is always answered through her thorough knowledge of each of the properties they are selling. This is a very proactive estate agent who have alot of local knowledge and expertise and most importantly they work hard for their sellers. I recently bought a property with Haart and the experience has been very good from start to end. Kirsten(negotiator from Haart) has been very helpful throughout and what is impressive is her prompt communication. You always get a reply to your concern almost immediately, even if it takes more time she will keep you updated - this really helped in establishing a good trust and faith in them. We also availed their mortgage service and Valerie had helped us in getting a good deal. She was helpful not only in mortgage related queries but also in other aspects of the purchase. Everyone has been very friendly and very helpful making our first time house buying less daunting. Overall both me and my husband are very happy with them and I would recommend their services to my friends and family.

I initially liaised with Kirsten Macleod Maclean during our hunt for a house in Orpington. She was professional, friendly and polite. Things got worse when Paul (apparently Kirsten's boss!) jumped in to the process. I found him to be rude, arrogant, stubborn and not easy to work with. He was also intimidating (like I am the boss kind of attitude!!). He even refused to arrange a followup viewing unless we make an offer within the asking price!!! So I looked elsewhere and bought a much better property at a much better price and in a much better location. Lesson learnt: Find a friendly, professional and trustworthy agent first, then look for the property they are selling. A great agent will get your dream house for you!!! This is exactly what we did!

Daniel was very professional, honest, dedicated and passionate about his work as an estate agent when he came to value my property. These qualities are extremely rare to find today. Selling your home is a major step and indeed very daunting and stressful. It can bring the worst out in you unfortunately even though we may need to sell our homes at some stage. We started our house search last year and one of the first properties we viewed was with Haart Orpington. Lisa was in constant contact with us when we made an offer and she was really open with us, which we appreciated. Since then we have viewed more properties with them and while we haven't found anything yet, Lisa continues to stay in contact with us about properties that we would be interested in. She's is very professional, but also friendly. Lisa remembers little details (which also shows she is really listening to preferences) and she is so quick to follow up and provide updates. I really hope that we find a property through her as we have enjoyed working with her through this process.

We found my purchase experience with Haart estate agents, smooth sailing. Maisie was extremely helpful and attentive to my concerns and questions. The past experience we have had with other estate agents was always that they weren't too interested in the buyer's concerns but this wasn't the case with both Maisie and Paul. They always did all they could to appease both sides of the transaction. Our only constructive feedback will be that they should check the status of the property on the day of completion (prior to key collection) but even that does not stop us from giving them 5 stars as they sorted the issue we had with this swiftly.

I would like to personally thank maise and Adam for their continued help with my mum. Adam was great from the beginning, very kind & helpful. Made my mum feel comfortable about everything. The team at Haart Orpington have been fantastic during the sale of our property. They have given us great advice, the valuation carried out by Adam was spot on and he worked incredibly hard to negotiate the sale for us which only took 12 days. Harry has worked tirelessly to progress the sale and has kept us up to date throughout and always chases up solicitors when required. Everyone works as a team in the office, nothing is too much trouble and everyone we have dealt with (Masie, Paul, Adam and Harry) have all been very professional. Disappointed with the level of service even before we started. Tried to book a viewing and after 10 mins of chat over phone collecting all the details, the usual question about Mortgage and other stuff. When I responded I have arranged my own Mortgage adviser (as next home buyer) and wouldn't need their service, I was told no viewing without DIP. Why don't you put that as a pre-requisite in your listing or even ask that question first rather wasting time. Probably my experience will flag potential buyers what they need to armed with. For Sellers an in-sight on the possible competition cut out agency practice.

Tina at Haart estate agents in Orpington has been incredibly professional, kind & honest from the first day we met. In my experience it’s hard to trust an estate agent even if you seem to like them but with Tina I get a real sense it’s more than just a job. She cares if we succeed in finding the right home for our family. I respect her opinion as she clearly has experience. I would highly recommend Haart due to the way both Tina & Paul have been with my husband and I. The communication we’ve had from them in our personal experience has been by far the best from all of the local estate agents.

Everyone at Haart Orpington were great from Start to finish. Not only did they sell our house within 4 days of it going on the market (a previous agent had it on for 12 weeks with 2 silly offers), their service and professionalism were exceptional. They worked hard to make sure our sale progressed, and chased other agents up and down the chain to make sure everything went to plan. We still had a last minute hiccup, but they dealt with it very well, and managed to get everything back on track to exchange and complete successfully. I wouldn't use anyone else - their service was very impressive.

My first experience with Haart Orpington was very poor. Having arranged to view a house a week ago, I called 40min.before the agreed time to double check the house number, they told me the appointment was cancelled as the house was under offer after the price has reduced. Both my husband and I has to cancel other engagements to make this appointment so it is extremely disappointing they didn’t thought to inform us about the change in the situation. I have taken my name off their database. Based on our experience I will definitely NOT recommend Haart Orpington.

I've been told a prefabricated concrete house as standard construction that I can mortgage on my viewing by Kerry. After my offer is accepted, I cancelled all other house viewings did full mortgage application with halifax only to find that it is of non standard construction which can't be mortgaged. I asked the Haart and they were not sure of property details. Oh my God. I wasted 1.5 months effort and 600 pounds worth of money for valuation and time off i took to do full mortgage application. I want to give zero rating but google doesn't allow hence 1 rating.

We sold our house through Haart in Orpington. We got a buyer straight away from our open day but, unfortunately, they let us down. Haart found us another buyer within a week but that fell through too! The team remained determined & sure enough they found us another buyer within two weeks who offered the full asking price! We have just moved & can't thank them enough for their help & support throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them as their service is both professional but personal at the same time.

Paul and his team helped us work through the sale process through difficult circumstances, we are living in the US and were selling remotely over 4500 miles and 7 time zones! This made communication difficult (we are 7 hours behind the UK) and maybe because of this, we sometimes felt a little isolated and lacking reassurance that everything that could be done to make the sale happen, was being done. That being said, we would recommend them as they got the best price possible and gave good service up to and beyond the sale of our property.

Shockingly poor service. I was very disappointed and let down by Haart, who told me the location of my house was the reason they were only able to secure 2 views. Swapped to another agent and had no issues. Multiple viewings and sold without any problems. I would not recommend Haart Orpington.
