This review is of the quality of the adorable glassybaby drinking glasses. After seeing these at the SeaTac airport for years, we finally decided to start our collection. We each picked one out and got to use them for FOUR solid days before mine broke. I rarely drop things and if I had dropped this and it broke, there wouldn't be a terrible review here. However, I was washing a cheap, thin, light, bodum glass and it slipped out of my hands, hit my glassybaby, and chipped and cracked my glassybaby glass. The bodum hasn't a scratch at all. How can something this utilitarian and expensive be so fragile? I was really upset. Customer service didn't seem to care. We were already planning on the other colors of glasses we would get in June when we returned to Seattle, but not after this. If anyone wants a single, "happy hour" color glass, let me know. It's just not the same without its pair. I've included a photo of my broken glass next to the bodum glass for comparison.
I received a gift of three candle holders from here for a recent move. I came in today to see if I could return them, as I have a gift receipt. An employee notified me that they don’t accept returns, and that I could only exchange it for something else. I look around the store, and finally decide on something. She then looks at my receipt, and says I can’t exchange it as it’s been over two weeks. (It was purchased two weeks and four days ago.) I would definitely not recommend this place. Overpriced candle holders from a company with terrible policies and customer service.
Pretty terrible customer service. Called 1 day ahead to order 1 of 2 glassybaby left in sweetheart color. Was told etching was today, Thursday, and could pay Wednesday and pick it up to be etched the next day. Go to get it, etching is next Thursday, and they won’t let me bring it back next Thursday to be etched and want me to buy another one when they’re the ones that told me etching was today. Thanks for nothing!
Small and simple, everything a shop that sells glass candle holders should be. The service is impeccable -- the staff takes the product and your selection very seriously. Every Glassbaby is unique so taking the time to select the perfect one for you is encouraged. They are pricey, but it's for a great cause and the craftsmanship is unmatched. Beautiful product and I'm happy to finally own one myself.
Very transactional, was in and out. Was looking for 3 specific colors. No suggestions for comparables, possibly missing out on larger sake. For the price a few more pleasantries would not have gone unnoticed. At checkout, she paid so little attention to me that she repeated the spiel about $3 going to their charity. Could have ordered online and skipped the trip, and probably will next time.
This is also another favorite of mine. Beautiful and gorgeous hand blown glass candle holders and drinkers. Each one unique and precious. They donate a percentage of each glassybaby bought to different charities and organizations to help heal people, animals and our planet. Such a worthy cause and they make wonderful gifts.
Excellent service. I saw the glassybaby that was perfect for me to give as a gift. The selection is vast and assorted These are addicting. Beautifully boxed with a bow and they added a candle and candy! As I said before, GREAT SERVICE!
Only gave 4 stars since there weren't any labels on the shelves. Know the inventory changes a lot but having labels is really helpful. Other stores have their glassybaby labeled.
Wish I would have grabbed the name of the lovely employees. Super helpful, and great representation of the brand!! I can see why my family loves glassybaby!
Beautiful little shop and votives. The price seems rather high for these though it makes me feel better that some of this goes back to a charitable cause.
I guess . . . this is cool. I'm not sure I'm the right demographic, but I'm waiting to see if it hits the East coast. I think my wife would go nuts.
I love glassybaby. Beautiful hand blown candle holders that support local charities. They make great gifts for all occasions. My mom adores them.
I’ve ordered several glassybaby pieces for friends and family and everyone is delighted to receive them. Excellent quality and craftsmanship.
The first glassy baby store but usually it takes a while to get one. Extremely busy every time I've gone. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars.
So many to choose from! Nice selection of standard options and some seasonal ones as well. They make great gifts.
I had a return/exchange and the salesgirls were friendly and helpful. I was out of there in 10 minutes...
Just an FYI they are not selling gift cards at their locations now. Just e-cards.
Had the most patient sales clerk. She answered every question I had perfectly.
Helpful friendly staff. Thank you for being nice.
