After taking a look at my review for this location, I have decided to increase my rating to 5-stars. The reason behind this is because of the availability of convenience stores in this part of downtown Jacksonville. This BP is located not far from Baptist Medical Center on Prudential Drive. They have the standard offerings of a locally-owned BP franchise -- gas, snacks, drinks, and compressed air/vacuums. It is constantly flooded with business because it is a staple of downtown and is the only service station in this area. If you find yourself in need of gas, a low tire, or just need a snack on your trip, stop in this BP. If you don't, you'll have to wait until you are out of downtown . The staff is very friendly, despite the fact that they deal with less-than-desirable customers that walk downtown like zombies in an intoxicated state. Every time I have stopped in, I am greeted with a smile and a "hello." Hope this helps someone. I know it is just a gas station, but when it is the only one in the area, it's very nice to have a friendly face and a good selection. PS -- This is not a normal BP, by the way. It is a small location, unlike the monstrosities that BP is known for. It seems at though it is privately owned with a contract to BP. Hope you all enjoyed! Have a wonderful evening.

I have been to this place a few times and never had any trouble. But I went here the other night at around 7 PM, the night before thanksgiving. The lady was outside emptying the wastebaskets, but the door was open and I figured she either saw me or that there was somebody else inside working. I was wrong. I went up to the counter to check out and she was still outside. I went out there to get her attention, and she started screaming "YOU CANT GO IN THERE!". I smiled, thinking she was kidding, but found out she was not. I asked her if she was serious, and she kept screaming "STAY OUT OF THERE, NO ONE IS IN THERE! WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE IN THERE WITH NOBODY INSIDE?". She started walking towards me quickly. Having no intentions of getting into a parking lot brawl with a 250 pound woman, I said to just forget it and left the property. Strangest experience ever at a gas station, but I think that the older blonde lady that works here must be mentally unstable.

The worst cashier ever. I was looking for something to drink for myself, my wife & son. I when I was asked. What I was looking for. I told her something to drink. I was told she doesn’t have all day. That I should come back when I am thirsty. When all I was found was looking at the prices and figuring what the others would like as well. So I took my business some place else. If they can treat people like that what else are they doing.

It's Not a "service" station, Tim. If you want Service, go to a Service Station. I don't know if your eyes where open when you pulled into this "gas station" that there where NO Service bays... Only a Car wash and Detail business. (OBTW the detail work they perform is outstanding, and at a reasonable price.)

this BP station,1. DOES NOT EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN CALLED 2. DOES NOT POST ITS HOURS OF OPERATION. 3. AND IF YOU HAVE FLAT AND ARE TRYING TO SEE IF THEY HAVE FIX-A-FLAT OR AIR TO INFLATE YOUR TIRES. GOOD LUCK...RATING POOR NOT EVEN A A STAR...IF YOUR ARE LOOKING FOR SERVICE DONT GO HERE

This place deliberately rips people off. Extremely rude employees and extremely overpriced. I've never gone anywhere for cigarettes and had the same pack cost five different prices. Beware of "grocery tax" too, which is sometimes applied, sometimes not.

Stopped-by off the Riverwalk halfway through an 11 mile walk. Great beverage selection, well-organized tidy space. Mark had me back walking with a Gatorade is a minute. Thanks, Mark!

One of the rare gas stations located downtown. Hotels around and Stanger people lurking around. Was not my first choice. Keep your head on a swivel is a must

Be-Careful when you buy protein bars and other candy’s. Couple of times I noticed most of there bars were expired ones.

Nice lady behind the counter, sun screen was over priced but I knew I was gonna need it for the game at Everbank haha

It says they’re open until 10:45 PM on a Wednesday. The old lady shut up shop at 9:30. Wouldn’t let anybody in

I lived off the BP GAS CARD in the 90s so I will stay loving BP for the rest of my entire life! …

Great value, and my car looked good. I needed the inside shampooed, it was $35 for wash and detail.

Small area limited selection items and they are over priced because you are downtown
