It’s interesting to consider the engineering required to build this clock, especially hundreds of years ago. That being said, other than being beautiful to look at, the mechanical features aren’t all that impressive. We waited for 15-20 minutes to see it in action and were pretty disappointed after reading such rave reviews

Enjoyed seeing the Zytglogge up close during a visit to Bern in mid-April 2023. This striking historical landmark is hard to miss while strolling through Old Town Bern. Guided tours of the clock tower are available. Unfortunately for me, I did not have the time to tour the clock tower while in Bern.

Der Zeitglocken-Turm in Bern ist immer ein gratis Besuch wert. Das Glockenspiel ist wirklich schön anzuhören und gehört zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in Bern.

Really not sure if this place is worth the hype. We waited half an hour to see the clock strike at five minutes to the hour and then on the hour. It's cute, but nothing worth going out of your way for.

The Zytglogge is a landmark medieval tower in Bern, Switzerland. Built in the early 13th century, it has served the city as a guard tower, prison, clock tower, centre of urban life and civic memorial. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Worth a visit even if just passing through. Very historical feeling especially in grey and rainy weather

Bern is very beautiful and the zytglogge is the center attraction!!! Visitors can expect a nice treat starting 4 minutes before the hour!!!

Amazing place to see. Tours can be self-guided on your phone. Rich, historical, and inviting. I took pictures and bought a watercolour.

Eine Führung durch diesen historischen Uhrenturm bis unter's Dach lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.
