Novorenesanční škola a opatrovna Hrádecká vznikla na pozemku tzv. Děkanky, považovaném až do stavby školní budovy za součást Nového Města a s číslem popisným 1673/II. Teprve až novostavbě bylo přiděleno čp. 130/VI vyšehradského katastru a staré čp. bylo zrušeno. Stavba vznikla podle plánů z roku 1884 od Josefa Srdínka, kolaudace se konala v září 1885. Dnes je komplex budov krásně zrekonstruován a díky kombinaci červené a jasně žluté barvě fasády doslova "prosvicuje" okolí. The neo-renaissance school and the nursing house Hrádecká were established on the land of the so-called Dean's Office, considered until the construction of the school building as a part of the New Town and with the descriptive number 1673 / II. Only 130 / VI of the Vyšehrad cadastre was assigned to the new building and the old no. was canceled.
