After you've ridden this a few times it gets rather ho-hum. It's flat and there's not much in the way of scenery. The council has added historical information signs and these are interesting. At the end preparations are underway for the extension of the trail to Yarra Glen—that's something to look forward to.

Short trail yet to extend to Yarra Glen. Planned extension was to complete in Q4 2021 but nothing has happened since. Track has not been given much attention or maintenance recently.

Lovely, well made and almost flat bike path. Approx 7 km in length (each way) and now being heavily used by both cyclists and walkers. Great to see everyone put and about and enjoying themselves.

This cycle / walking trail is mostly flat. There are some well placed info boards describing the history of the area and railway line.

The track is good BUT it ends in the middle of nowhere and your only option is to turn around It will be GREAT once it's complete.
Nice flat trail. No toilets or shade at the Yering rest area. Hoping this changes when the trail is extended to Yarra Glen.
Be great when its finished comes to a dead end at the moment about 40 minutes lesuirly ride from Lillydale train station.
Not too bad. Bit boring in places if you are sight seeing. Be great when it's connected to Healesville.
