Yangon International Airport is the primary and busiest international airport of Myanmar. The airport is located in Mingaladon, 15 kilometres north of central Yangon. All ten Myanmar carriers and about 30 international airlines operate at Yangon International Airport. The airport is also colloquially known as Mingaladon Airport due to its location. Yangon International Airport (YIA) is strategically located between India and China with two-thirds of the world’s population within six hours flying range including cities such as Tokyo, Dubai, Singapore, Beijing and New Delhi. YIA is the busiest and largest airport in Myanmar.

Mangaladon Airport, Yangon It was a time when there were more than ten planes waiting. To go to Lashio in the north, next to the border of China, by a twin propeller plane of ASEAN Wings Airways YJ751.

Brand new domestic terminal -- that actually still smells to new! Spacious circulation areas, plenty of seating room, some nice options for eating, and a few cafés to choose from. Toilets were immaculately clean. Just the air conditioning that, to my body temperature, could have been turned up -- and the music, that could have been turned down :)

Yangon domestic airport Terminal 3. Very new with lots of fast food chain & cafe. Very cold AIRCON. There's free shuttle bus at Door 1 to transfer between domestic terminal 3 and international airport terminals 1 & 2. Although walking between all 3 terminals is less than 2 mins. 1 & 2 linked. 2 & 3 not linked and it's unsheltered.

Kleiner und einfacher Flughafen, jedoch morgens sehr stark frequentiert. Der Check-in verläuft noch richtig altmodisch mit Stift und Papier statt Maschine. Die Bordkarte wurde von Hand ausgestellt und beschrieben, was eine besondere menschliche Note gibt. Das Bodenpersonal arbeitete gut und speditiv.

Clean and large compound, but people blocking @ main doors are a bit annoying.It should be well-arranged.Bus station and taxi stand is nearby to get on.It is located just in front of arrival station.It would be nice to have such well-arranged domestic airport every cities.

World Class facility with ample check-in counters, quick security as there were few people. The additional body scan may cause delays if busy. Clear bilingual signage. Nice coffee shop on departure level while waiting for your flight.

A very quiet place due to covid pandemic. So the service was very fast except the local agent who supposed to attend us take a long time to approach our group. To make worst my travelling bag handle was broken due to poor handling.

Not many people here, so go through the check in and security check with no hassle. Very large departure hall with a lot of seats. Unfortunately for muslim, I didn't see any sign of prayer room here.

During COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first time travel by Air . It is not like before. I saw less perssengers in domestic airport and have to fill out the form related to travel background.

New and modern terminal. There are still a lot of places under renovation. Looking forward for more shops, restaurants and facilities in the future.

Тихо и спокойно, народу мало. После контроля в зоне вылета места навалом, есть халявная питьевая вода, несколько кафешек и smoking lounge

Good enough but wifi is only 30 minutes. It should work 1-2 hours. Or better unlimitted like in Thailand and Việt Nam

Next to international airport is this domestic airport, it is neat and clean with new toilets, there is no free Wifi.

Recovered after Covid-19. Crowded. All passengers wear masks, airport securities are kind to support passengers.

Absolutely development domestic airport because immigration is not too long time and decoration also modernize.

It’s a small airport, but it has many cafes and restaurants where you can relax before your flight.

Not have quick covit test for passengers, the service around ( food shop, tea shop) is pour.

Most of shops already opened. Wifi is available for 30 minutes. Some Staff claimed chip.

Smoking room have there, Don’t worry if you forgot lighter it was hanging the door

Infrastructures and systems are improving a lot, like it more than previous.

It's not to be wonder at new Yangon Airport to go abroad or domestic. ❤

Grab taxi available for your trip. The price is fair and good service
