Lots of places to sit and enjoy a coffee drink from a place right next door. If you have kids and you need them to expend some energy, this is the place, lots of playground equipment, climbing, etc., during the summer months there's even fountains for them to get wet. If you need a charge on your phone there's a free charging pedestal....one hour maximum please. A great space to go and it's free and close to a lot of other things, the tower is within walking distance, the coffee shop next door has a chicken coop with a chicken run, kids of all ages were enjoying that.....yeah even a few older kids....like me and my wife.

This is a nice addition to downtown for kids and families. I suggest getting here early if you have kids especially before it becomes too . A nice place for a picnic, there's a splash pad that's really popular. They also have clean restrooms, lots of shaded area to sit and chill. Today happened to be an event by HEB called Super Fun Saturday with a lot kid booths and a live band. The pictures I are some of the things I mentioned from our experience.

Beautiful area for families and meeting up. The Splash Pad area is cool and friendly to all ages. One thing I noticed is the steps /wall are purposely uneven especially where you walk on. A couple of times I had to catch my toddler from tripping over and banging his legs. Although he did fall but not on those steps but by huge boulders near the umbrella lounge area.

Wish my kids were still young enough to enjoy this place! A place that must make every visitor excited and ready to play. Awesome set up for kids of all sizes. Lots of cargo net climbing with extra deep, squishy surface. Lots of tiled benches and shady spots to enjoy the fun. They even have hammocks in the shade. Loved the vine-covered entrance trellis.

Spacious, open, plenty of space to sit for adults, chairs, grass. Perfect to bring your toddlers to big kids! We went in a beautiful winter sunny day, and it was gorgeous.Parking can be a challenge, but came during the week so was not that hard. Bathroom was decent, there are also restaurants, coffee shop and ice cream close but they could be pricey

This place was a lot of fun for both my children and I. My son and I played on the foosball table and also played checkers. My daughters played on the playground and my wife sat in the comfortable chairs. The bathrooms were clean. There is a lot to do for the kids. I will definitely be back and make sure to bring some water

Beautiful scenery, wonderful place for kids to play...they remodeled it and removed the playground I grew up with but they replaced it with a lot of different things the kids like. I'm definitely coming back. Parking downtown is normal which means you gotta find it first. Make sure you read signs, you don't wanna get towed.

Solar fest, plus came across this great park close by! Has private changing huts for parents and children. Also has local face painting, great place for those who love to climb! Has so many different styles of swings, which makes me think this is one of the best local parks for special needs kiddos also! Such a great time.

Beautiful park right in downtown San Antonio. Plenty of activities for kids of all ages. Currently there is Dough Pizzeria Napoletana right next to it for food options. Southtown is a short walk away and there is also San Antonio Paletas which have plenty delicious options for treats to cool off during the hot summer.

Nice children's park in San Antonio downtown. Parking is available next to the Garden. Nearby attractions: *Tower of Americas *Wings of Mexico *Alamo/River center Mall. The place is quite and peaceful in the evenings and good place to spend time with family. Suggested timings-Late evenings #HappyVisiting

The "park" area is mainly for bigger kids. Not really toddler friendly. Great to walk around. Has a splash pad area great for hot days! They have changing rooms by the splash pads. Restrooms are pretty clean. The park is well lit up. Pretty clean and nice area all in all

Amazing atmosphere and of course very Instagram-able setting. The food is amazing with almost every dish you can tell the individual cooking not only cares about presentation but creating dishes that are full of flavor. The patio area is also dog friendly.

Fun playground for the kids! Splash pad closed for the season (Nov 5th), it was still warm enough outside though. The parking wasn't ideal, perhaps I don't know the best place to park. We will return!

Great Downtown Park with Unique Playground featuring an advanced climbing area. Free Ping Pong and Fussball Tables. Lots of shaded seating and swings for Littles. Also a great coffeeshop steps away

Wonderful *free* attraction to take the kids to when you’re visiting San Antonio. Complete with a splash pad, unique playground, and restrooms.

  • The K Green Show

Amazing park. If I were a child, I would love it 100 percent. Floor is also bouncy, so that lessens the impact from falls. Very nicely done.

  • Gloria L Mendez

Very beautiful, relaxing place to spend time with family and friends. Vendors, Artists and Musicians fill the park.
