5 star customer service. We enjoyed our 3 night stay in an executive suite immensely. The room was large and comfortable with the most comfortable king sized bed I have ever slept in. This is a genuine king size and not two singles pushed together. The room was immaculately clean and well equipped with a smart TV, handy kitchenette and large shower in the modern and functional bathroom. The motel is located steps from the scenic Moreton Bay foreshore with views to North Stradbroke and Moreton Island. There is a beautiful, relaxing and scenic broadwalk through the nearby mangroves about 500m easy walk from the motel, which is located in a quiet residential area of quality homes in a great part of East Brisbane. Wynnum is an easy trip to the city or you can take a ferry ride to the bay islands from nearby Cleveland. There is a lot to explore in the area. We stay here when attending events at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre as it is a handy 18 minute drive to Chandler or an easy 30 minute trip to the Gabba. I cannot recommend the service we receive highly enough, nothing is too much trouble and we always enjoy our stay.

Was treated very poorly over the phone by a male when I called to book accommodation re vaccine certificates. The man's attitude completely changed once I let him know that not all my guests were double vaccinated. He said sorry we cannot accept your booking and very condescending followed up with a "good luck finding somewhere" and then abruptly hung up in my ear. I was SHOCKED by the level of rudeness. I then called another hotel very close by who were amazing and non discriminatory who happily accepted our booking. I'm now going to stay in an apartment villa twice the size of your rooms, & $30 cheaper. So thankyou Wynnum Anchor for your wish of "luck" because it worked and we are much happier having found this alternative to your tiny little, non child friendly, discriminant establishments and it's only a stones throw away.

Please beware of this motel company in wynumn!!! My partner and I payed for a room for three nights and were put in these peoples home to listen to them taking a dump! We asked for a room change to the actual motel part like paid for and were met with abuse! She had told us we would get our refund however weeks later and they have STOLEN our money!!! $680 to be exact! Not too mention when we arrived to our hotel the male owner had entered us with a jack Daniels in hand walking us INTO our hotel. Both owners were so drink I did not even receive the email for my booking nor text message even after asking vigorously for it. Not one professional act was displayed. Disgusting!

My partner and I stayed at the Anchor Motel, in one of the superior rooms for a night and we didn't want to leave. If you are in Brisbane and want a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, by the ocean, without leaving the city, this is the place to stay. It's a home away from home and it exceeds expectations. Ultimately, it was exactly what we needed and we would definitely recommend it

We have just spent a week staying here and couldn't have asked for more in service. This motel is 5 Star in all it's comforts and features, locality and to complete the experience both Sam and Julia are the perfect hosts. Literally could not find my room.. Got given half instructions over the phone, arrived near 10 in the evening, no reception, no one to speak to, phones not answered, no instructions on how to get to room, no map. Bad experience compounded by aggressive behavior when trying to discuss it, emails for refunds going un-answered. Had to find another hotel near midnight - worst possible experience as a business traveller.

Fantastic motel! Quiet, extremely clean, comfy bed, excellent air conditioner and very well located. I can’t speak highly enough of the owners/hosts, they really go above and beyond to ensure that your stay as special as possible. I only ever stay in this motel on my regular visits to Brisbane. Use this place very often. Clean , perfect place to stay. Beach just down the road , they also Havel a pool a very good set up with BBQ and tables for you to use. Most rooms have queen size bed and a single, fridge, microwave, toaster and iron. Great fish shop just up the road. RSL handy, Coles and Subway and a great fruit shop close by.

Excellent price, convenient location. Large room with sink, toaster, kettle and microwave. LOVE the proper sized coffee mugs. Beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. On the downside, the bathroom is a bit squeezy, could do with another towel rack, and perhaps a shelf. Overall a great experience, would stay again.

On arrival, we were welcomed with a bright, cheery smile from the Owner. The room is spotlessly clean and has a comfortable double bed. Our room No8 also has Single bed. There is a great shiny clean Guest BBQ area near the sparkling pool. A very short walk (2 houses) from The Esplande, fabulous for an evening or morning stroll.

I stayed for three days. The owners really friendly and helpful in letting me know about the area of Wynnum and surrounding areas. Motel really clean, comfy beds and a great pool. 2 minute walk to Moreton Bay which is beautiful. Very affordable and will be staying there again next time I am in Brisbane.

Great place to stay especially as we had to catch early ferry to Moreton Island Linen clean, bed comfortable, air con fantastic, shower great Sorry we were unable to wash our dishes but there was no dish liquid or tea towel provided and the bathroom basin was a little small for the plates.

Have stayed there when travelling to Morton Island, room to park with a camper trailer, now stay there when away with work, clean, comfortable and the managers/owners could not be more helpful and friendly Walking distance to a few great places to eat and a stones throw to the coast

Our room was a suite and it was wonderful. Very clean and tidy with everything we needed ie: kitchenette with cutlery, crockery, tea towels, kettle etc. The managers Sam and Julia were very hospitable. We highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay there again.

As a regular traveller, I always stay at the Anchor Motel in Wynnum when I’m Brisbane. The rooms are always clean, air con cold and shower plentiful, not to mention the hospitality by the owners.

Self checkin was easy and convenient. It’s not on a busy road, but you could hear the traffic outside through the night and when other guests left early in the morning. You couldn’t hear anything
