This store needs someone to step up. I'll start with the meat department is well managed, I've never been disappointed. The fresh produce department is usually okay/ average, I do find they manage it well in regards to marking down packaged stock thats clearly diminishing which is always nice, but then there are other things like their loose products such as brussel sprouts and broccoli always have water on the bottom (I assume to keep fresh) but the products actually start getting brown and soggy down the bottom. Bit gross. However every other department, not so much, it's all smaller things that just really add up at the end of the day. The deli department never want to slice fresh meats, I have a young child who enjoys ham and its been recommended by medical professionals if he has it that I get it fresh, multiple times I've purchased "sitting there" products and they've had crunchy edges, I worked in a deli for over six years, it was not fresh like they like to claim when you ask for it to be sliced. The grocery department is usually always a mess in every aisle and I'll say it's likely customers who do this, put things in random spots after change of mind but it's other things too. I have found on a few occasions specifically in the confectionery aisle that things will be "out of stock" (fine) but there'll be some random assorted items there like lets say a kinder egg, a packaged lolly and maybe some nail clippers for memory was in the spot of m&m tubes (theres two locations for these there at each end of aisle) and when I went back FOUR days later, the same random assortment of items was still sitting there in that vacant spot. It wasn't exactly hidden or hard to miss. Doesn't take much to neaten some things up and take some pride in the store. Either grocery or front end staff, I know when I worked for Woolies this was often a shared responsibility, the front end where magazines are, often have some magazines missing, thats fine, whats not fine is an item thats been put there and has been there so long its become stuck, wrinkly and mouldy in the rack, as seen in attached photo, another thing thats not hard to miss and is quite gross and unhygienic. The front end staff are hit and miss, the regulars know and always acknowledge the regular customers, they're happy to help, they're 9 out of 10 times "in the zone" with their job, you can see the energy there. Some of the more casual staff honestly just couldn't care less and I get it, I do, but it's quite obvious. Some of them just clearly don't want to be there or simply don't care about promotions or service and it's just clear and off-putting for every customer in the line, especially if you try and help get them out by asking about their day or complimenting their hair or something, it's often shrug off responses. This is more than one experience/ more than one staff member. All in all, it's okay for run in/ out with respect that its a smaller store so don't stock all items but someone needs to start taking some pride in it.

Went to this Woolworths today and had my 3 year old with me. While i was at the check out unloading my shopping, an older lady worker with dark red hair felt the need to put me on show by saying loudly "excuse me, where's the wrapper for that car he has?!" It was in the trolley right next to him with a kids toothbrush and toothpaste also waiting to be scanned, it was right in front of her and she was looking at it, then she says to me, can you make sure it gets scanned please while walking off?! I was confused at first but as I continued to unload my shopping, i thought, what was that? She chose a very rude way to go about it and i felt so uncomcomfortable, it was highly unnecessary! Obviously that's why the wrapper was placed where it was! She should have approached the situation in a better way instead of being so feral. I would not want someone like that scanning or packing my shopping that's for sure, i would ask for a different worker if that ever happened

Extremely rude deli workers. They really do not care about their customers. As I as picking up a large order that I previously ordered I learn that the prices had magically increased. Sure, lots of excuses why, but they didn't care and even though I had tried to call to verify that order, and was told very flippantly they had it, it was still wrong and they showed no sign of caring. They said the store manager would call back, of course that didn't happen either. Hey 1000+ dollar order isn't needed, I'll be taking my business where they want the money. Since I am/was a weekly shopper there, you can rest assure I won't be back.

poor service. went in this morning and no one was serving. old mate at the front was putting flowers away looked at me and then looked away like I wasn't even there. left the shopping on the belt and walked out. stuff all range aswell would recommend Hollywood plaza over this place any day. only go to this one because its around yhe corner. omly good for milk and bread. p.s. never get the fish its stinks and is sticky. fresh this morning my A.S.S

I was trying to buy items from deli had nothing I needed i had to ask 3 people to find anchovies and all they had was a large jar no choice at all now let's talk about paying 1 only check out open and had 3 trolley load of groceries i was then forced to go through self serve serve because they took away the small checkout to leave a staff standing there doing nothing I will be looking to shop somewhere else in the future

I got trimmer from paralowie Woolworth 2 months ago now the trimmer is not working properly and I went back to the store today (time: 1:30pm, date: 30/12/2021) I was told that they can’t exchange it. the staff members at the returns counter was very rude. the customer service was very poor.I was told that I need to contact the manufacturer directly. what’s the point to buy it be from Woolworth? shocking

Went there tonight and the had raw meat near the entry asked them how long has it been out for they had to ask so many workers and then they hesitate and said oh we only take it out half hr intervals and I'm like yeah nah it's ok thanks but you know it's not allowed to be out over 2hrs and the meat was slightly warm as well very disappointing knowing they should know the safety of food

Christmas spirit was high and last minute shopping was fun with no crowding. Plenty of well spaced codes for checking in and a good supply of trolly wipes and hand cleaning stations. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. Shelves were well stocked and prices are good. I go past other shopping centres to shop here.

Young arrogant staff do the Woolworths brand so much damage. I witnessed 1 staff member on trolley collection pick up the rubbish out of a trolley and throw it on the ground. When I said something his reply was far from what I expect from a multi billion company. Shame on you Dre.

It closes super early every Sunday and Saturday that can be annoying if you want to go to the shops and if you are impatient like what Saturday and Sunday they close is early for what corona or we waste are weekends and please to the owner make it close to 8 or 9

Woolworths Paralowie is a great place for a quick shop for bits and peices or that big shop to stock up. I also love the mall they are in, with the chemist, hair dresser discount variety store and loads more intersting shops including out side tellers.

Went in today for a quick shop...I like the new electronic price tags...A nice lad ( I think his name was Perry ? ) Show them to me and explain them to me. The Fruit and Veg section was awesome as always and got some good everyday reward specials too.

Cannot give the girls at the front desk enough praise and thanks for looking after me and being so so kind and helpful, would not hesitate in going again or recommending others to do the same. Well done girls, you are a credit to your store …

I don't like big corporations, and generally try to buy local, but sometimes it can't be avoided. Overall, the store was well-stocked, had some good specials, and I like the Macro brand. Was also served by a really nice young guy.

Good store and holds a decent range, my only recommendation is to go in when nightfill aren't there only because it can get irritating dodging them but that is no fault of the workers, they are just doing their job.

No basic food to buy cause people are selfish and don't think of others., Alot of people like myself are in financial hardship and can't afford to buy in bulk and the expensive stuff that is left on the shelves.

Very helpful staff member, by the name of Alison, there this afternoon. She went above and beyond, on 2 occasions, to help me out today. She was great! All staff there are great! That's why I keep going back.

I prefer to shop here rather than Hollywood Plaza, less people and easier parking. They often have good food promotions they pass out to their customers. Went home with a free Giant Twin one day. …

Easy parking and easy get in and get out, Woolworths. They also have a good range of products. Very convenient for someone with a disability, easy to get to and easy to walk around or wheelchair ♿ use.

I enjoy shopping here because they have a good layout and it saves time. They still have humans serving customers, unlike some other Woolworths stores. In fairness, the pandemic did force changes.

Masks are mandatory BUT yet hardly any of the woolies staff wear masks. What makes them so special, Totally disgusted that they can get away with it. This situation needs to be dealt with ASAP.

Friendly environment, close to my place. Sometimes surprised me with good soy drinks with good price. Who doesn’t like discounts. Hope it keeps up the good work. For now I have no problem.

I love shopping at my local Woolworths and the staff are always friendly and the service is great. The produce is good, meat is good, deli products are fresh quality as well.

I have found by comparing Woolworths bakery is far more expensive than Saints Foodland bakery .Saints bakery is bigger and better quality and isn't as expensive as Woolworths

Racist staff , impolite, uneducated staff. all they do is walking around and talk to each other. they don't help at all. feel sorry for Woolworth to hire these people

all the staff are wonderful very helpful and very pleasant no matter where I live I will always go to this Woolworths as great supermarket to do my shopping

Not happy with rewards card scanning it's been offline 4 days and no sign up to say it's not working or offline to keep your receipt I better get my point's

Allot less convenient now that the express checkout has been removed. And often I find only one register open. Service counter also often unattended

They don't stock as many items as other Woolies stores but it is a smaller supermarket and the service is always good and employees always friendly

Another good day at hollywood shopping went to Westlakes with my sisters and my great neice we all had a good day last friday the 4.9.2020.

I was able to go in, get exactly what I needed, went through self serve really quickly and staff were friendly, I will be happy to return.

I love Woolworth. My kids love to go there. They are keeping free fresh fruits for kids and contributing to establish healthy eating

Prices are always expensive. Hardly any one on check outs and have to wait longer than usual. Hardly ever shop here..avoid if i can
