"A real nice park, well maintained I could Def see a potential flooding problem but I did notice a man hole underneath the turf lawn"
This was a beautiful park. However it is dealing with the same blighted issues that this neighborhood is dealing with namely an epidemic of homelessness. I took my son here to play only to find out much to my chagrin that there were people sleeping and smoking on the rock climber/play apparatus. This is unfortunately not a safe space for children to play and this is compounded with the issue that there are very few play spaces for children in this area. The parks are overwhelmed with homeless individuals. The structures and landscaping show the park is well cared for but it still is not a safe space at all.
Located next to Marta five points stations. Along with Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank Of America office sites. The architecture is eye popping. I call it Gotham City for all you DC's Batman fans.
Dog-friendliness
Great place to walk dogs.
A beautiful park in Downtown Atlanta. Fountains everywhere. Nice benches to sit. However, did not find the place safe. The park is filled with homeless people. Hence would not recommend to visit here anytime after late evening.
I was visiting for a conference and wanted to walk around to explore downtown Atlanta. I saw a peaceful demonstration and was delighted to talk to some of the protesters. Great place to rest for a little and get off your feet.
A real nice park, well maintained I could Def see a potential flooding problem but I did notice a man hole underneath the turf lawn. Plenty of places to sit
Great park! The fountains and the "ATL" playground are my girls' favorite downtown features. I'd give it 5 stars if there was ample parking nearby.
I thought it was really nice beautiful scene nice people alot of police presence! Plenty of restaurants and places to shop!
It was under construction when I went but the fountain was pretty to take pictures in front of. Very pretty city at night!
