"I spend time on the ball diamond practicing"
"I love this park, especially in the winter when it has a beautiful tree-rimmed skating rink"
"Nice and quiet and not sure of how the Mayor can manage to keep our taxes down when there spot light beside the wash room facility was burning brightly and even the lights in the closed (locked-up) building were on and no one was there! Your tax dollars hard at work during the day under the sun light!!;"
"My 11 year old really misses the monkey-bars; the new play structure is designed primarily for the under 7 age group, as are the swings: only 2 of the 8 swings are made for bigger kids"
This used to be a hidden gem of a park, but in the name of modernization it's now a shadow of its former self. Two distinct playgrounds for different ages, and two sets of big kid swings, were ripped out and replaced with one smaller playground, some kiddie swings and a zip-line. Instead of being able to accommodate 30-40 kids of all ages, it now accommodates maybe 15-20 youngsters. Adding insult to injury, the zip-line, a 1-person activity which occupies the space previously occupied by a full playground and the swings, is broken. And more recently, the plastic swing for those with disabilities has gone missing. This site also offers a baseball diamond, a wading pool with change area, and (in the winter) a rink. Haven't used them, but they appear to be in decent shape.
I spend time on the ball diamond practicing. The diamond is ok on the infield. The deep outfield has trees, tree stumps, and spotty holes.
Playground
Nice playground area with a zip line also. The kids seem to live it.
Restrooms
Not open after the pool has closed or at least not open when I've been there. Rink boards are up and ready to go. The restroom/change area should open when the rink has ice.
I love this park, especially in the winter when it has a beautiful tree-rimmed skating rink. In the summer the zip line is a big hit, and the playground is pretty new and well-liked by my kids. The wading pool is great on hot days and never busy. A frequent meeting spot for many neighbours with littles and a little more shade than at McKellar Park for those blistering hot days.
Nice and quiet and not sure of how the Mayor can manage to keep our taxes down when there spot light beside the wash room facility was burning brightly and even the lights in the closed (locked-up) building were on and no one was there! My 11 year old really misses the monkey-bars; the new play structure is designed primarily for the under 7 age group, as are the swings: only 2 of the 8 swings are made for bigger kids. The zip line is fun but it's due for a re-tentioning. The wading pool has long been showing its age
Small park. It has a baseball diamond and a set of baby swings. A bit of a green area to run around in, semi fenced in. It's a nice place to have a picnic off a quiet residential street, but is otherwise quite bland.
This park is in a convenient location for the surrounding houses and high rises in the area. Residents of the long term care home next door can venture out and pay a visit. ☺️ …
Very clean park. Swings, climbing structure and a zipline to play on. Decent amount of seating and lots of room for kids to play. Wood chips instead of sand in the playground areas.
Excellent place for your kids to play.

One of the best ODR’s in Ottawa hands down great lighting, stern boards, nets are high and they have a mini free skate next to it. Great stuff!
This Park does not have access to the washrooms and the kids use the wading pool as a bathroom
Love this place, my baby really enjoy it, is a big park where littles can have lot of fun.
Some of the best outdoor ice I've been on! Props to the rink team!
Nice park, with good playground and small swimming pool for kids.
Great Park for all seasons and having fun with your kids
